Maximo was wonderful at Quimera restaurant was helpful and attentive the entire experience! The rooms and the facilities were cleaned constantly and housekeeping did more than could be expected

We had a great experience at this restaurant, and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Ronny. From the moment we were seated, he was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming

And Octavio in Mar y Sal was the definition of a professional. He was attentive, polished, and genuinely welcoming. Overall, great experience and beautiful environment!

DJ Carlos was great to talk with, and he kept the energy up. Jahaira, who we affectionately called "La Patrona", was always smiling and there to answer questions

There are really too many to name as everyone was just so consistently nice, going above and beyond to help improve our stay in any way they could

The property itself is stunning and beautifully maintained, featuring a gorgeous pool area and a breathtaking beach that we enjoyed every single day

Yadenny from the entertainment team invited me to play volleyball and I had a lot of fun. She made my brother and me laugh a lot. Without a doubt, a good experience. Rafal Nadal Pickleball was fun too

Every member of the team was cordial, friendly, and impressively efficient. Whether it was remembering our favorite drinks, checking in on how our day was going, or simply sharing a laugh

The staff here are the reason why people love this place. The customer service is exceptional. The nicest and happiest people I’ve ever met. Alejandro Soriano are the best bartenders and honestly such great human beings

We just returned from a 10-day stay at the Meliá Adults Only Resort in Punta Cana, and the highlight of our trip was without a doubt the incredible staff at the Elyxr Bar

The bar staff ( Radalis, Ramone and William from the fresco pool bar) at this hotel were outstanding. From the moment I sat down, they were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming

- Zeleika (hope I’m spelling that right!), the main pool server, kept the drinks flowing nonstop — always with a smile

Junior reached out asking for a review near the waterpark. Taught us a bit of Spanish which I was too drunk to remember! 😁 The whole family had a great time. I have to mention how hard things were to discover

A very nice place and experience. I was able to take a picture at the SpongeBob house. Took my son here and he enjoyed it fully. We paid day pass for $175 per person and that is all inclusive towards food

- Joel at the buffet grill went out of his way to make sure I had an enjoyable and delicious meal. - Ramona, our server at Aqua Nick, was always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed

We had an amazing trip, made even better by the friendly and incredibly helpful staff throughout the resort. Several team members truly went above and beyond and made our stay unforgettable

Desserts snacks drinks everything. And the day pass is from 9 AM to 5 PM. You’ll have to leave your passport at the front desk though until you’re done with using your day pass

Wet walkways, narrow paths to navigate the pool area by the beach, long lines at dinner time, rowdy Spring breakers, all made me feel a bit overwhelmed (I’m 75)

Beautiful pools , plants and great restaurants. Beach was great with plenty of things to do. Great entertainment every night along with pool parties and DJ during the day. Minimal kids staying while we were here

The food is incredibly great both in the buffet and the specialty restaurants, and you do not have to make a reservation except for Fusion. The entertainment at night in the open area is different every night

I’d highly recommend the Dominican show on Thursday night. They are truly proud of their country and very talented. Lots of families at this resort and babies

They have many kids’ activities all day and before the shows. I was told 127 kids while there early March. I’d recommend this place more for the younger set

If your thinking of staying at secrets next door it is very big and open and for a much older crowd. People 65 plus sleeping and snoring by the pool without the music and pool fun atmosphere

He even helped organize a surprise for my boyfriend whose birthday was the day after our arrival which was so appreciated!! I also want to mention that the staff at the private priority member pool on the beach was amazing! They were so attentive and made sure that I never spent a moment without a drink in my hand lol

We booked the priority member Junior suite with the private pool and everything was perfect! The room was very clean with a beautiful/clean private pool and had a breathtaking view of the garden and two of the pools on the grounds

Nice resort, room with pool was below average (never used it). Nice staff and great customer service but unable to invite anyone from outside property (no daily pass available) for drinks was disappointing.

Every thing and everyone one was perfect kind and professional at all times. The treatment was like I was from the Royal family. Especially our private Butler Brian and the desk clerk Leonardo

Sammy at the inside bar was our absolute favorite! You will not regret staying at this resort. We had an amazing vacation and will definitely be back very soon!

You have to travel to another public disco if you want to have this experience, is very peaceful at night. That would be great to you if this is what you are looking for

Due to hurricane flooding in the past many first floor rooms smell like mold. Changed rooms with about an hour of headache when we got there. Room we were moved to was not cleaned

Very clean and family friendly. The buffet has lots of options for every pallet. Waiters for drinks and meals at the pools and the beach. Activities for adults and kids all throughout the day

Moreover, we asked lots of time for towels, pillows and more and nothing got done in time. the resort is amazing for the kids of course

Overall good. On the second last day they cleaned our room but no towels, toilet paper, or Kleenex. We called the front desk to get some sent. No one came…. I had to go to a public washroom and take some…

We had a great swim out room - it was amazing - pool water was nice and warm - the deck has been remodeled with new materials - just fabulous!

Right next to this pool is the toddler pool, with a much smaller bubble which was a hit with my 2 year old twins. These pools are also right next to the beach and food trucks, making everything super convenient

The main pool has the deeper end with a bar where adults hang out, but it’s connected to the kids pool which has the big bubble where my 6 year old wanted to jump and slide all day long

Swimming options are endless, with four+ infinity pools, large heated jacuzzies, and the beautiful turquoise waters and white-sand beaches of the Caribbean Sea

There are also multiple pool bars and grills throughout both the Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva resorts, with food and drinks available everywhere you turn

Must mention Angela Zorrilla Reservations Department who went above & beyond to ensure my Reservations were booked & setup correctly as I had multiple issues with my computer & she made it her mission to help me along with sales supervisor Angie Diaz

Bloved was our favorite dining establishment i the whole resort. I discovered some delicious Dominican food, as well as some familiar dishes. The staff are all happy, kind and very accommodating

They have lots of fun things to do- and it is also a great place to relax! The beach was absolutely beautiful. This was our first trip down south and certainly did not disappoint! We would 100% come back here again!

A couple of issues but were made up for other people. The happiness, Coordinator Hanzel was incredible. Him and his team made our stay 10 times better than it would’ve been without them

the adult pool closest to the lobby is packed. By the time i walked to breakfast at 715, 90% all the chairs were taken. They do a lot of activities during the day there and that bar was pretty good

She snuck in and left my husband extra beers in the frig, would empty the garbage regularly throughout the day, turn down service plus she had flowers decorating the room for me!! I had a great nap in the patio in my hammock

The castle has its own pool, which is nice, but rude guests reserve chairs all day without using them, limiting seating. This problem exists at other pools and the beach

there is no reason to go to an all-inclusive and not experience the very best, and the staff here will take the very best care of you! Yes, tipping is appreciated by them and when they go above and beyond, they deserve it

awesome activities coordinator, along with Maria! Luis Mario, Ismael, and Omar were the most amazing wait staff for our days on the beach. Get by the beach and you will never get up to get a drink while you're there

these guys are great! Alejandro and Riccardo at the Wok restaurant, this was our favorite and we were able to get in twice! Amazing service, amazing food, and the reason we slept so well with full bellies

There were plenty of chairs, but umbrellas became a Hunger Games situation as there was one umbrella for every 10-15 chairs (versus one umbrella for every two chairs by the pool)

Probably the best hotel/resort gym I’ve ever seen. If I had one recommendation, it would be to add more umbrellas on the beach

Shout out to Areilles at the pool and Ramon at the Italian restaurant. Everyone is nice but they are next level. Room 5 People 5 Food 4 Landscape 5

Amazing time at this beautiful all-inclusive resort. Right on the beach, clean pools, and endless food options. Staff were so welcoming and friendly ready to help any way they can

Been in the resort in the past, however this time it was not as great as before. The pools were cold, staff in the family side of the hotel were not as friendly/polite as in the adult side.

The beach cabanas are excellent, service and food was great, and concierge service was top-notch. The chicken burgers by the pool bar/cabanas run by miguel were incredible

Johnny Solano was the most amazing host. He made our stay absolutely great. They have 4 pickle ball courts. He got us the equipment to use when everyone else, didn't have a clue as to what we were wanting to play

The hotel didn't really explain the difference between a standard stay and paying for the Diamond club stay. I only caught the pool side cabana on the website

The foam parties were extremely fun and we enjoyed all the food especially the Indian restaurant and the steakhouse. We were there during an excessive heat warning and it was very hot but the pools and bars kept us cool

Which was to be reserved and additional charge and that didn't seem worth the cost and after being there I felt I made the right choice. Pool had plenty of lounges and so did the beach

Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Staff is very friendly and always ready to serve you. Rudy was the best! Huge variety of drinks. And beach is awesome! Steak house was so good. Definitely would go back.

This resort was beautiful and had lots to do. Children are allowed, there’s a kids area and even a teen hang out. There are multiple pools and a beach

They each had a balcony, and really could have been great, but cleanliness could be greatly improved. I had to change rooms twice—first due to the AC not working, then because the balcony door wouldn’t lock

I wouldn’t consider this a party resort; it’s more geared toward families and low-key fun. Definitely check out the beach bar—John and Gerson are fantastic bartenders, very friendly and entertaining

During the day, there’s a buffet snack bar, coffee shop, and icecream bar available, plus a sports bar that’s open 24/7. In the evenings, the lobby has entertainment, including shows and a DJ

Neither of those issues were my fault and it seem like a bother or hassle for them to swap my room. Overall, it’s a lovely resort with great amenities, and a relaxing atmosphere

On the positive side, they did upgrade me to a larger room, which I appreciated. I did feel like some of the front desk staff was not very friendly or accommodating

Great food, good drinks, and great entertainments. On top of all that are the pool and beach areas. I'd recommend this as a very family-friendly hotel complex with helpful, friendly staff.

Enjoyed it a lot in November 2020 given it is 4star hotel Amazing beach and possibility to use the area of a neighbor hotel. There was even volleyball, which I like

We had the elite club swim up suite. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Being elite, we had excellent service and food options. The elite pool and bar service is so worth the extra charge

The only thing that was disappointing was I had to keep telling reception that my drinks were not replenished instead of 2 days it was more like 3 or 4

We were there last February and loved it we did not encounter anything like some of the reviews say we were there for 2 weeks and it was perfect pool was always clean and I would give the food a 9 out of 10 great places

The food and drinks were amazing, with a wide variety of restaurants and bars to choose from—each offering great quality, flavor, and atmosphere. There was always something new to enjoy, and nothing disappointed

Our stay at JOIA Bávaro was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our entire stay

The entertainment staff Dai, Pikachu, snoop Dogg, black mamba were so much fun and engaged guests in all different pool side games and evening activities

The bar tenders and wait staff were wonderful with Tobias and Angelo and Maya. Everyone was wonderful! We met many people who come. back year after year and we understand why

I had an amazing week at Excellence El Carmen, a week that I will hardly forget. The resort is amazing and the atmosphere is just so relaxed and exclusive, especially if you're part of excellence club

We had an amazing time at Excellence resort - they have various activities, amenities & events on site that you can participate in

  However, there are very limited options for vegetarian esp if you think about your protein intake, there is hardly anything

Shoutout to their famous Coco locos! Special mention - Senor Diaz at the Prelude bar for a memorable experience!  Activities - really fun activities at the resort - bag painting, aqua trampoline, aqua bike, ping pong tournament, bingo, karaoke, poker, silent disco & so many more!!!!  Amenities - they have a wide array of amenities - gym, darts, tennis, archery, volleyball (pool & beach), board games...

  Somethings that are commendable & really stood out:  Cocktails - Excellence has by far the best of the best cocktails & bars! Their drinks are creative & everyone can find something they enjoy

I’am so thankful I stay here and plan to stay at another Royalton in the future. Please don’t forget to tip staff works hard and should be showing appreciation

Everyone from Juan at check in making sure everyone went smooth and stress free to Jancey taking checking in to make sure we had everything we needed on a daily basis and Hugo at the pool bar keeping my drinks full

We had read other reviews and were a little nervous but we are really glad we chose to book anyway. The food was great, our room was spacious and the bed was extra comfortable

After spending 7 days there with my family of 4, I would say that those negative reviews were from people that perhaps have very high maintenance issues

The beach…the beach was amazing! We had arrived right after a storm but it was cleaned up by the next day

At first it bothered me, but we were able to use both hotels, except for some areas like the buffet at the larger one and a few other things. Other than that, the beach was beautiful and the pools were nice too

The food service and the whole experience at Jade restaraunt was exceptional, from the the initial contact with Yeilin, and the service from both of our waitress who’s name I didn’t get which I do apologise and our chef Victor were all exceptional and the food was honestly amazing

There are a couple of things that could be improved, like having more areas where people can hang out longer, or places to play games such as volleyball or something like that—but that’s just my personal opinion

The beach was spacious and beautiful. The pool area was well maintained and there were plenty of chairs for people to spread out

All of these individuals (along with many others) went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and “part of the family. ” Gorgeous property, immaculate rooms, delicious food, great service

Anyone between the ages of 12 and 30 will HATE this place. Think secluded, safe, quiet, manicured, boring. A luxury splurge for the middle class. Bring books for the gorgeous pool and beach

We recently returned from an amazing week at this fantastic property. Not only was the property absolutely beautiful but the staff was attentive, hospitable, and just generally full of joy

Several restaurants and bars on location so there was no need to leave the property. Pool, property and beach were all well maintained. Overall an extremely positive experience

The employees were all so accommodating, restaurants within the property were fantastic, everyone treated you with respect and overall, very relaxing. We saw the early morning sunrises which was great every morning

However, humidity inside the room is noticeable, towels and linens look worn, and only one large bath towel is provided. The shower head is also installed quite low. There are several large and clean swimming pools

They are spacious, modern, and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The balcony with a jacuzzi overlooking the pool is a great feature

Our room was very nice, we had the suite with the living room and very large balcony. It was very private and spacious. The towels in the room were old looking, they were clean but they definitely need to update them

We weren’t given any hand towels or washcloths. We called and they brought 2 hand towels and no washcloths. Service was extremely inconsistent, we didn’t get a butler, other people did

Entertainment is very limited, making the resort extremely quiet. There is no convenience store on site, and communication before arrival was poor, as emails to the reservation department were not answered

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. This hotel is best suited for travelers looking for a modern, clean, and peaceful place to relax rather than a lively all inclusive experience
