The hotel's location is excellent, right near the Grand Egyptian Museum and not far from the pyramids. Getting a taxi is very convenient. The room was clean and well-equipped, and even had a balcony. The hotel's internal view was beautiful, and the breakfast was plentiful. All the staff were very enthusiastic. A special shout-out to the Housekeeping Manager, a young Chinese man. Knowing we arrived...
After learning we wanted to experience local public transport, the front desk lady was incredibly helpful. She looked up how to get to Salah El Din Citadel by metro for us, writing down the directions and transfer stations in detail on a card, and even helped us exchange for small change. She's truly beautiful inside and out! Thank you, and thank you, David, for making every day of our stay in Cairo...
Seeing a Chinese hotel in Cairo gave me such a warm and familiar feeling! The value for money is excellent, and the guest room manager provided very attentive service. The biggest surprise was how delicious the shredded potato stir-fry was at breakfast – definitely cooked by a Chinese chef! 😬
This hotel, part of a Chinese state-owned enterprise, has a friendly lion statue at the entrance – a pleasant surprise, like meeting an old friend in a foreign land! The two young Chinese managers were very warm and attentive, and the Egyptian staff were also very polite.
The Cairo Sunshine Hotel was such a delightful surprise! As an overseas outpost of PetroChina, seeing the five-starred red flag flying outside immediately put me at ease. It boosted my sense of security immensely, making me feel incredibly safe and comfortable in a foreign land.
The location couldn't be better. It's directly across from the Grand Egyptian Museum and very close to the Giza Pyramids...
Exceeded all expectations! I originally just wanted a clean hotel close to the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, but this place went far beyond that! We arrived very late and were starving. After discussing it with the hotel staff, they actually cooked noodles just for us – I have pictures to prove it! A bowl of ramen later, I was literally moved to tears. Thanks to the hotel manager, David,...
I am a regular customer of this hotel because I felt comfortable with everyone, and I thank all the staff, especially Ms. Sarah.
I booked this hotel expecting a five-star experience, but I was very disappointed. • Rooms and bathrooms need renovation. • Room service is unresponsive and ignored my calls. • Breakfast is very basic and most food is not fresh. Paper cups for juice and hot coffee or tea Honestly, this hotel does not deserve five stars; it would be more accurate as a three-star hotel.
The Jewel Sports City and Aqua Park offered a remarkable experience for us as a family. The rooms provided were comfortable and well-maintained for a pleasant stay. I cannot praise the housekeeping staff enough. Amr especially ensured rooms were cleaned and his attention to detail was immaculate! We enjoyed the various amenities available, including the sports city and aqua park. The overall atmosphere...
Excellent food, pricing service! They were smiling and greeting all the time. Definitely recommend and will visit again soon inshaAllah

It was such a great stay , the room was good the place is quite , but it's so difficult to get a transportation or Uber there unfortunately, but I would like to thank norhan from the front desk team for her genuine care and assistance she helped me to get Uber which made my stay much easier each time
The breakfast was good; at least there were vegetables for a salad. The room had a bathtub and welcome fruit. The room was quite spacious. The swimming pool was a decorative pool, so hardly anyone would swim there. The gym equipment was a bit old, but it was large. The restaurant was quite good. It's a good place to stay!
This place is super nice. My room was not very big but I had a beautiful garden. I was super sick and had to stay inside the hotel all week and Hassan from front desk was checking on me twice a day, sending me fruits and bringing medicines when I needed. Such a lovely attention! The Japanese restaurant was really good and also have a shisha restaurant with Morrocco food but as I was sick I couldn’t...
Great services.
Great housekeeping especially cleaning lady Ms.Hela.
Mohamed and Sharif are super friendly.
Great receptionists too. It's funny there are so many people called Mohamed and Ahmed.
Had a great stay for the month I lived there.
the service is okay on all clearer room 109
i have seen all the time my room is clean
Sheriff supervisor the hospitality good and friendly and staffs houe keeping is good.
Super desserts from the chef who had prepared our fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. We were so delighted with it and told him so, and he gave us some complementary desserts.

Hi,
First and foremost location is great if you would like to visit the pyramids? Staff and the service that they provided was excellent!
The food was also great 😌 being a typical Brit I tired there fish and chips! And again the fish with its crisp batter was great.
The swimming pool area was superb 👌🏽
Another great thing was I got chatting to the Guest Manager lovely person and she mentioned this...
I recently stayed at amarante in Egypt and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-located, but what really stood out was the exceptional service — especially when it came to organizing tours and excursions.
Essam who runs the amarante tours & taxi went above and beyond to help me plan my itinerary, offering great recommendations...
This hotel was great, there was a slight language barrier from the kitchen staff for my allergy however it was dealt in the end. It was a good price for our experience with a good location and big pool, however the pool was VERY COLD. We had gone on a tour through the pyramids, Memphis and Sakhara with Essam the tour manager and Mohamed the tour guide, they were both absolutely amazing with great hospitality...
The hotel is very old, bad plumbing, the hair dryer is 100 years old, the air conditioners are all dirty and the buttons on the window are also dirty, the curtains are all stained
I had an amazing experience during my stay, and much of that was thanks to Isam, who truly went above and beyond to ensure my visit was perfect. From the moment I arrived, Isam greeted me with a warm smile and made check-in a breeze. Throughout my stay, he was incredibly attentive, always offering helpful advice about local attractions and ensuring I had everything I needed. His professionalism and...

There comes a time in life when the heart quietly asks: Why am I here? What is my purpose?
Islam gives clear answers — it teaches that there is only one God, the Creator of everything, who knows you, loves you, and wants you to return to Him.
All prophets — Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (peace be upon them) — came with the same message:
to worship God alone, live with compassion...
I lost something precious at the hotel and they kept calling me to inform they found it…such a nice surprise.
Apart from their honesty the staff their is very kind and friendly.
Big thanks for them all and for Miss Fatma ❤️.
The hotel is locadet in Nasr city about 10 minutes away from Cairo International Stadium. The hotel looks new, the staff are friendly. I stayed in a Family room, it was very spacious, two rooms and one bathroom. Each room had a flat screen, a mini bar and a kettle. The bathroom had clean towels and toiletries. The breakfast was ok, a set menu either wetern or oriental, and you can take it up in your...
A wonderful and beautiful place with 5-star hotel services, a masterpiece restaurant, and a very distinctive gym with American Precor equipment. The hotel's location is easily accessible and is under the management and supervision of Colonel Ayman Abdullah Masoud, a leader of the highest taste, manners, and respect.
Great and unique hotel but the location is incorrect and this is a photo from the top floor of the 8th floor on the street overlooking

Staff was friendly. Based on some reviews I was nervous of they will check me in late night as my flight was arriving very late, but they helped no issues.
The location is convenient, 25 minutes from airport, plenty of shops nearby BUT it is noisy! Get some earplugs.
Also was surprised the hotel had not arrangements of any kind with local tour providers. I suggest they should look into this.

Overall average, but the price/performance ratio is OK
Enjoyed our stay. The room is spacious and clean, the decor was fine, and the beds are comfortable. The pool is very good and it's heated, but it is very crowded as people just come in the afternoon and evenings for swimming lessons. It's a good place to go with kids. The staff were mostly nice. The only other problem was the big screen TV before the pool was very loud. Good for the price
It's so attractive place and they have a corporate staff, i will back again to repeat my experience there...............
Great hotel, came with family. We have never been so satisfied. The staff speaks Russian, is very friendly, and always helped solve our questions. Food and relaxation are all at the highest level. The rooms are in good condition, the area is very large.
The receptionist on the night shift was friendly and professional, many thanks to him. The room was spotless and inviting..
Highly recommended

The so-called "pyramid side view" room actually only offers a city view. You can't see the pyramids from the room at all. To catch a glimpse, you have to lean out the window, and even then, you'll only see a tiny fraction of them. So, the hotel is dishonest and deceptive. If you want to see the pyramids, you'll have to go to the rooftop terrace. Definitely do NOT book the pyramid side view room! Furthermore...
Host was incredibly helpful. Thank you!! View at breakfast was breathtaking.
The view of the pyramids is breathtaking. I loved being able to enjoy breakfast with such an iconic backdrop . The staff are incredibly hospitable and helpful. There is a wide variety of breakfast choices. You can even order lunch or dinner through the restaurant manager. And the food is delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.
The balcony directly faces the pyramids, offering a super great view. The room was clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!
Cleanliness: For the area near the pyramids, it was exceptionally good.
Environment: You can see the pyramids from the rooftop terrace, and the view is absolutely breathtaking from a distance. Traffic in Egypt can be quite chaotic, so it gets pretty 'lively' at night.
Service: The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive! 👍🏼 Even though the hotel is located down a small alley, they provide a...
The service attitude was good, but the execution was a complete mess. I checked in at 1 AM, practically falling asleep on my feet, and they still dragged me around to show off their pyramid views and restaurant. Then, back in the room, they started explaining the TV channels. We needed an extra pair of slippers for the double room, so I asked the front desk. After a long wait, they brought just one...
Nice hotel good location , it’s renew but need little more care in towels
Filthy and the breakfast is forgettable, but at least the location is good.
Overall, the stay was acceptable, however, the service did not meet expectations and there was a delay in arrival.
Excellent location and service.
[Best Value for Money] This hotel surprised me! For a few hundred dollars, I enjoyed a five-star experience. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was comfortable, and there was a complimentary minibar. The location is super convenient, just a 10-minute walk to the mall. The service was warm and attentive; I will definitely stay here again next time!
The phone in the room was disconnected. The hallways smelled bad. The location is good.

Great location, friendly front desk, breakfast was very limited, wifi in lobby only; elevator art fantastic!
Great hotel, very clean and confortable room. It's in the very center of Cairo and is close to everything you need to visit. The mawlana café on the rooftop is a real gem, wonderful view!
Good atmosphere cafe on top roof is awesome
This place was basically just good enough for a bed to sleep on. The shower and bathroom situation was pretty gross and the room itself only had 1/3 plugs working. I wouldn’t stay here again unless I was desperate. The price was really cheap and unfortunately the amenities and state of the place reflected it. We had a 24 hour layover and didn’t sleep and showered as fast as we could just to survive...
The hotel was fine we were just disappointed because there is a pool advertised and its a lie because the place does not have a pool. We felt cheated
The hotel's location was absolutely incredible; the view of the pyramids is unbeatable and the rooms are clean. Breakfast could be improved. The area around the hotel, well, it's far from clean.
This hotel is super location. It is super close to Giza pyramids. The view from hotel is amazing especially from the roof top bar.
The breakfast is delicious.
The location is convenient.
The hotel staffs there are very friendly
Great location, right near the entrance to the pyramids, and you can even see them from the restaurant! When I checked in, the front desk staff warmly showed me to my room. The booking didn't mention it, but the room had no window, though since I was only staying one night, it was fine. The soundproofing, however, was quite poor.
Excellent customer service and the location is perfect.
1 min walk to pyramid of giza ticket office.
The hotel is good and the staff was very helpful and friendly especially Jabeel(manager ) who made us very comfortable.
Breakfast is ok but the view of the pyramid is amazing.
Dinner is expensive but u pay for the view not the food.
Overall excellent place to stay...
A south desi review .. It was a pleasant stay overall. The staff were very accommodating and happily shifted us to a 3‑bed room when we requested. The food was decent too. The best part was a small local hotel nearby — when we asked for grilled items with extra spice, they made it exactly the way we wanted. Only downside: a few flies around, which was a bit annoying

Very very good, the boss is super super nice, super enthusiastic, the hotel is owned by a family, very good, highly recommended!!!
It is just a few dozen meters from the east gate of the pyramid. The environment around the pyramid is very poor, but the hotel is quite warm inside. There are cute parrots and puppies. The boss is very enthusiastic and sent extra breakfast. The rooftop balcony has a beautiful view of the pyramid.
The room is spacious but old; it is close to the entrance of the Giza Pyramids, less than 100 meters away, so it is acceptable to stay for one night just to see the pyramids. The front desk lady is very beautiful, and her brother is very enthusiastic. There is a restaurant on the rooftop, and it is also very pleasant to dine while admiring the pyramids in the distance.
The hotel sign is relatively hidden. Although it is different from the renderings, the pyramid can be seen from the balcony.
The boss and the front desk guy are very nice and enthusiastic, and the guy doesn’t want tips. The boss’s dog and parrot are also very cute and approachable.
The breakfast provided by the boss is also very local 😊
The overall feeling of living here is very free and safe.

Great location if you want to go to visit the Pyramids, but not much else to positive about it. The breakfast was very limited and not really fresh. The hotel itself is very outdated and my girlfriend didn't really feel safe around all the men working there and staring constantly so we didn't feel like trying the pool. The reson for the 3*'s is the good location and the great taxi service they had
I was initially hesitant because of some older bad reviews, but I’m glad I gave this place a chance. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It seems like the management has really improved things. I had a comfortable and pleasant experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to others now.
Great Experience in Luxury Hotel and you will find warm welcome from professional staff with smile on their faces and my room was spacious with large balcony with pool view and the breakfast open buffet is very rich and the taste of the food is very delicious and the atmosphere is very nice and friendly and I recommend strongly this hotel for anyone who wants to enjoy his time.
The hotel is old and the rooms are average.
Thanks Tripp for the endorsement

I didn't check in the hotel itself, but I did go to its Restaurant & Cafè , which was trash, the place literally had trash all over the floor, also the tables & chairs weren't very clean.
The prices were crazy, but I guess that's normal for a hotel.

You can see the cemetery from the room. Carrefour is within walking distance, and there's an ATM inside the supermarket. There's also a souvenir shop on the ground floor, which is quite convenient for tourists.
Hotel is in very top level location. My dream comes true when I open the window and look pyramids. Amazing view and all the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I miss them all.. I will recommend to everyone who want to book this hotel.
Great Stay Near Pyramids!
I had a solid stay here. The hotel is clean and the hot water is excellent. The view of the Pyramids from the terrace is absolutely stunning, and it’s very close to the Grand Egyptian Museum.
A few things to note:
Amenities: There is no kettle and no hairdryer in the room.
Pyramid Access: The entrance next to the Marriott is closed. You have to use the Sphinx entrance. I recommend...
Excellent room , staff also good ,nice view for pyramid to the balcony ,good location.
The view of the Pyramids (at least the room we had) are splendid. Also the view from the cafe at the 5th floor is excellent. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was on the small side but manageable. The water heater is very small so hot water lasts only few minutes.
The location is close to the GEM and Pyramids but you depend on a taxi as walking around is not really user friendly...

The location is good to visit the pyramids or the great egyption museum.
The view from their restaurant is great and the breakfast is really good!

It is not recommended to stay here. It is said to be four stars, but in fact it feels like a B&B with no services at all. The rent is collected on the spot after 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Rooms aren’t so spacious, the apartment looks a bit old and dull, if you would stay there I advice to reserve one that faces the Main Street, as the back viewing ones are very hot in summer with the absence of Air conditioning, those rooms facing the Main Street though offer some breeze at night.
Room service is very limited but they do respond quite fast to any issue you report to the receptionist...

I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable, with a great breakfast and friendly staff. The location is perfect, close to the City. The owner is quite nice, and I've gotten used to the place.

Perfect location close to the airport, 5 minutes by taxi Big clean apartment, big bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room The manager answered our calls at once, directed the taxidriver straight to the hotel and welcomed us outside at 1 am. He guided us to our apartment and arranged a taxi for the next day. Very good!
I had a great experience.everything was excellent
Location is excellent, the restaurant is so good but the rooms are not comfortable enough. The bathroom are so small and it doesn’t have door in the shower
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They assisted us with everything throughout our stay. The room's cleanliness and comfort were adequate. I'd like to extend a big thank you to the reception, bellboy, and restaurant staff. I highly recommend this hotel; you can stay here with confidence.
If you're looking for a hotel just for an overnight stay, it's fine. However, the room's soundproofing is very poor. The breakfasts are good.
Stay was great. Breakfast was good too. Gana hospital was just 4-5 minutes walk where my training / workshop was. If you are coming especially for that then definitely going to recommend it. Many places of food and shopping centers were located around the hotel. Easy to catch taxi but do allow 1 hour and 30 minutes for airport in taxi as traffic is hilarious.
