This chedi is really not recommended! The air conditioner in the room jumps out sometimes. The bathroom design is extremely leaky and poorly planned. The shower room is extremely small and the water pressure is very low. Taking a bath is very uncomfortable. The housekeeping is also a mess. For me this was the perfect holiday with the best company who always kept me entertained with jokes and kindness. This is a century-old hotel in Alexandria, and you can see traces of history everywhere, from the lobby to the rooms, which are all very opulent. While some of the facilities are inevitably a bit dated, the overall experience was still very good, especially the breakfast restaurant with its amazing sea-view terrace.

I truly enjoyed my stay at La-Metropol. You get to be treated like royalty. Very safe and trustworthy place to stay in. Wonderful hotel in an amazing location. Old world charm with modern upgrades and amenities. Service is incredibly warm, sincere and attentive. The one highlight not to be missed is their rooftop restaurant with amazing panoramic view of the beach. The infinity pool view is absolutely stunning. You could lie there and relax all day! The service was also good; there was no pressure to tip. Location is very good from Cairo ~1:15 hours. Sea water is shallow and boring for swimming. Staff are super friendly (special thanks to Mr Mohamed, the resturant manager). Facility is clean and prestigious but with few resources (one swimming pool, and one resturant). Service is very good. Nearby supermarket, but pharmacy is faraway. Not very friendly for baby strollers/wheelchairs.
