Split holiday review golfing facilities excellent though occasionally missing information and double booked our tee time one day, google says staff prefer euros but also the complete opposite, get Egyptian pounds staff don’t like/accept euro coins and give you a miserable look with poor service, smallest euro note is €5 so unless you want to spend €300 in tips for a week get the pounds, we booked all inclusive but hotel has no idea how full inclusive works and is not set up for it, we had 3 lunches in 6 days one of which we had to get the reception manager to follow us and help order it and about 13 drinks in 6 days (mainly got water from gym for drinks), dinner give your room number 3 times to get a meal (no band system), blurb says no night entertainment or trips but singer on each night (not told) no excursions but on day 5 we found a leaflet with excursions on we missed again not told by staff about it, basically great golf, don’t book all inclusive go breakfast or half board but food pretty decent, hotel ok but not genuine 5 star a bit smoke and mirrors so not so good when you start digging, diving make sure you have cards and recent refresher or you won’t dive no try dive type stuff and limited dive centres in soma bay

Awful ( I am writing this on my husband’s account as the booking was under his name). It doesn’t feel 5 star at all, i’m quite surprised it’s 5 star and has won awards. There’s no attention to detail, the staff are miserable and rude. The food made me sick, I was throwing up the very first time eating there that night. I threw up for 2 nights in a row, had stomach pain all week. My brother also got very ill and on our return needed antibiotics. On our arrival no help with our bags, no friendliness nothing. I have stayed in other 5 star hotels and this is my first time experiencing such a lack of detail. We came to relax and enjoy ourselves, my family work super hard and I wanted them to feel happy and comfortable but instead we left disappointed. It’s a Muslim country but the hotel is made for non- Muslims for example no prayer mats, no mosque for women and no azaan. It’s very disappointing. There not even any mocktails, but lots of alcohol. Overall, it’s just miserable atmosphere and you feel it all around you. I will not be returning, I was very excited to visit and seeing the photos but its outdated and poor hotel.
