Guests are offered four types of rooms: luxury rooms in the main building, individual villas with balconies and terraces, set around a lagoon, relaxing in the Dunes and economical holiday. Update in february 2025:hotel is completely renovated,according to local workers it should be finished in 1-1,5year so like summer 2026 and it should belong under xanadu so lets see if it will be really so,the prices of xanadu are much more higher than princess Tie Heights hotel prices previously...

The hotel is actually under reconstruction,I hope it will be again available than.Our family was in hotel every year and it was always a pleasant stay.Staff was nice,friendly and helping in each situation.Food was good with enough choice and also with local food(those who await the fresh baked croissant and premium european food will be disappointed:).It looked older inside the rooms and inside the hotel too,but the hotel was built many years ago and you still dont need any air conditioning in the rooms:they hold the cold naturally inside. the only disadvantage were rude and agressive russians,permanently drunk and destroying everything around. We will be looking forward to reopening.

A sad story for a once beautiful resort. Everything is old, outdated, not working, broken, dirty beyond cleaning (silicone in the bathrooms, for example). The food is rather limited to stew like dishes, vegetables and salad ok, but although you could find 18 (eighteen!!!!) bottles of vinegar, there was absolutely none, ZERO!!! of oil. When I asked for oil, I was brought a really small ammount of sunflower oil, no way they had any olive oil. The glasses were invariably 100 ml cheap plastic glasses, even when you were served beer. The huge reception space has no AC and when the kitchen has barbeque on offer the smoke finds its wat to fill the two story space.

the waiters and bartenders are extremely rude, they ask you for money for every order, and the service is all inclusive, the food is terrible, I even saw a mouse in the kitchen, the hygiene is disastrous

Nice location with a very bad management. Ex. Le Meridien , now is down. Bad food , same every day , poor and bad quality. Drinks bad and always finish before time, warm , no ice , no beer, glasses plastic cca 100 ml for beer. Exept room there is no air conditioning , not even in hall of reception or Restaurant. Service low , employs sad only looking for tips . The only thing good at this hotel is the beach , with sand and slow entrance in water. Makadi golf is nice! Furniture and electrodimestics are very old and bad shape. What to tell you , i made a mistake to take this offer, i do not recomand !

Tia Heights Makadi Bay Makadi Bay Was once a great hotel built by a great man ! 900770327 ITS RATHER SAD WATCHING THIS ONCE BEAUTIFUL HOTEL DROP ITS STANDARDS SO LOW .... BAD KARIM Have to say a huge shout out to SECURITY STAFF MOHAMMED AND BRIAN + THE BULLDOG WHO CLEARLY RUN A TIGHT SHIP THESE GUYS WERE QUALITY AND DESERVE A BETTER HOTEL. THE STAFF ARE ABUSED BADLY BY RUSSIAN GUESTS THEN AGAIN BY BAD MANAGEMENT WHO WERE MOSTLY IN RECEPTION AS THE "GREETING" FACE OF THE TIA ESTABLISHMENT.

I don't recommend this hotel, probably one of the worst in Hughada. At the beginning the receptionist was looking for money for a "better room" we negotiated but at the end he was charging the guests with different prices, probably those money went to his pocket. Room not clean, I don't want to mention the glasses in the bar, disgusting! Food, almost always the same, with some smelly spices, no air-condition in the restoran, nither the lobby. All the employees(except room service) were so impolite , not smiling at all. Lokal Drinks-hot, disgusting as well. The animation team forces you to participate in the games all the time, so you can't relax at all. For my 6th time in Hurghada, THIS WAS THE WORST HOTEL EVER!!!

On arrival it looks ok with big staircase, however man at desk was rude and dismissive; the place was filthy; there was a large circular landing with corridors leading off to rooms - but not a stick of furniture in it - it looked abandoned - like an empty prison cell. The 'sun beds' were rotten. Ironically, we found the food OK and staff in restaurant were courteous and nice, however, they ran out of glasses for drinks which caused a long delay/queue. As an 'all inclusive' the drinks were a joke - there was hardly any choice and a gin & tonic tasted like nothing ive ever had before - disgusting. The fridge in the room was disgusting. Parts of the hotel were shut down as ceilings and walls were falling down. We only stayed one night as we were transferring to the Nile Cruise - so on departure in the morning, as the lift was out of order, we asked man at desk to call someone to get luggage down - he told me to see the 'concierge' - who could barely look up from his mobile - so i returned to desk where he said 'now what you want?' - i repeated my request so he called over to the 'concierge' who reluctantly got up to get our cases down. I enquired about our breakfast and 2 bags were dumped on the counter - containing 2 small rolls with either some spam or cheese in it, a danish pastry, an orange and a banana - all very bland - and not even a bottle of water. As we were due to return there after the Cruise, we complained to our tour operator as we did not want to go back there and happily we went to Sea Star Beau Rivage on our return - what a comparison ! photos can be supplied.

so i have just come back from Tia Heights, after visiting a few years ago pre covid and reading the reviews i was a bit hesitant, however the hotel was fine, rooms i booked the aqua room but was upgraded to the main hotel which was fabulous, yes there were a coupe of issues, but maintenance was there straight away and rectified them, certainly didnt ruin my holiday was just a couple of issues. If you are expecting a 5 star hilton experience then no it isnt that, but after travelling many places , i would say its a 3 star to 4 star equivalent uk. public areas were kept clean and tidy, all pools were sparkling clear water, the beach is also fabulous. a quick mention to Waileel (not sure on spelling) at the beach bar and where you get the burgers from at lunch, he is incredible, so friendly, always remembered our drinks, wine sprite and ice mix and beer with ice lol, an absolute credit to the hotel Also Samir in the main restaurant he was outstanding, always on hand to help out and help with a nice table and drinks, look out for him when you go We went for a week and had the best time, will definitely be back probably in june, we stayed room 3078 and was at the back so quiet, but there are some lovely big rooms also there with huge balconies, that look incredible go expecting a good uk 3 /4 star and you will have a fabulous time, its mainly russians at the hotel, we will be back soon, thank you for an amazing stay
