Cairo, 11 Abul Feda, St, Zamalek, 99999 Kair, El-Kahira, Egipet (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Facilities: The facilities are complete but rather old; a hairdryer and other amenities are available.
Cleanliness: Overall, cleanliness is acceptable.
Environment: There's a two-lane road in front of the hotel, making parking inconvenient. The hotel is located on Zamlek Island, and there are many cafes nearby worth trying, making it a good place for a city walk. There's a bar on the first floor...
The experience was pretty good!
Good location . Nice hotel. It’s a bit old with limited amenities and services
If the breakfast was a little better, I think this would be a great value hotel.
It is very close to the meeting place. I choose this place every time I go on a business trip. The location is very convenient, the hotel environment is very good, the hygiene is also very clean, the service attitude is very good, and the price is very reasonable. Recommended
Reception stuff not helpful. Cleaning is done well if you leave tips, otherwise not very well. Room service is not 30 minutes as indicated but 1 hour . Room that has city view is dark because there’s darkening film on the window and the view is not to the city but to the opposite building (from 4 floor) The location is noisy, not good for sleep. Good thing is that it seems quiet safe and frequently...

Hi,
First and foremost location is great if you would like to visit the pyramids? Staff and the service that they provided was excellent!
The food was also great 😌 being a typical Brit I tired there fish and chips! And again the fish with its crisp batter was great.
The swimming pool area was superb 👌🏽
Another great thing was I got chatting to the Guest Manager lovely person and she mentioned this...
I recently stayed at amarante in Egypt and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-located, but what really stood out was the exceptional service — especially when it came to organizing tours and excursions.
Essam who runs the amarante tours & taxi went above and beyond to help me plan my itinerary, offering great recommendations...
This hotel was great, there was a slight language barrier from the kitchen staff for my allergy however it was dealt in the end. It was a good price for our experience with a good location and big pool, however the pool was VERY COLD. We had gone on a tour through the pyramids, Memphis and Sakhara with Essam the tour manager and Mohamed the tour guide, they were both absolutely amazing with great hospitality...
The hotel is very old, bad plumbing, the hair dryer is 100 years old, the air conditioners are all dirty and the buttons on the window are also dirty, the curtains are all stained
I had an amazing experience during my stay, and much of that was thanks to Isam, who truly went above and beyond to ensure my visit was perfect. From the moment I arrived, Isam greeted me with a warm smile and made check-in a breeze. Throughout my stay, he was incredibly attentive, always offering helpful advice about local attractions and ensuring I had everything I needed. His professionalism and...

Hotel in total is really good, staff are friendly and helpful
Loverly nice hotel
With everything
Thanks to every one work in this hotel
I visited the hotel, everything was perfect, everyone was so friendly , the breakfast is amazing! Service was incredible! The hotel is extremely clean too! Thankyou so much 10/10
The service here is excellent, the location is okay but you will need to get taxis to get around if you want to visit tourist attractions. The room was nice, if you don’t mind some old fashioned style furniture and interior decoration. To summarise: not the most modern building but the top quality service makes for an enjoyable stay.
Beautiful on the outside, large hotel with an impact in every way...but the rooms have carpet! The bed fell apart as soon as I got in! Breakfast ended at 10 but by 9.40 they were already taking away the few things that were there! Tell me if it's a three star...
Honestly, this is my first time visiting the hotel. The reception was wonderful, the staff were very respectful, and they responded to any requests quickly. I would especially like to mention the reception staff, who are very, very, very wonderful.

Very clean, good price for the value, and customer service was top notch. We also liked the location as it was pretty central and had a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. We could also see the pyramids in the distance from the top floor breakfast room.
Best hotel in Cairo swimming pool lovely staff super friendly clean and safe big ten +
Some rooms are dated esp the ones in the old part of the hotel, bathrooms are challenging and shower poorly designed. Front desk reception and porters were very good. AC was ok but noisy, pool was clean, decent and warm. Best part was the restaurant, food and staff. Hesham and Ahmed service was stellar and made us so welcome. They really made the difference for us, we felt so at home ❤️, thank you...
I stayed at **Marawa Palace Hotel** for three days and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was spotless, the atmosphere warm, and the staff always welcoming with big smiles and a genuine willingness to help. The rooms were super clean, and the cleaning team did an excellent job every day.
A special thanks goes to **Racha**, who prepared my coffee with such friendliness and care. She is smart, approachable...
A good experience at Marwa Hotel, clean, attentive staff
I was greeted by a swift early check-in by front desk accommodating staff (I do particularly remember Michael) and to my most-pleasant surprise I thought my room was five-star (go for the superior room, well worth it; I have no experience with standard rooms). Housekeeping lady (Alla) is very friendly and accommodating and will do a fantastic thorough job. Thank you. High-floor pool is very nice and...

It’s a very good hotel with an excellent location and easy access to my destination. I really appreciated how quiet and peaceful it is.

We had an amazing stay at Gewan Hotel — everything from the comfort of the room to the overall atmosphere was excellent and well maintained. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and very relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind.
The highlight of our experience was Omer at reception. He was incredibly nice, friendly, and professional, and being multilingual made communication effortless. He surprised...
As a first time visitor to Cairo, Egypt; we were extremely fortunate to stay at the Gewan Hotel. The entrance lobby is beautiful and the facilities, staff, and services are first rate. Most impressed with the dining families and the nearness to an incredible shopping centre and restaurants. Rooms are large, clean, and well appointed. A very safe and luxurious choice!
Great hotel in Cairo very near to the airport. I stayed here for a few days on my recent trip and loved it. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent. There is a small food strip in the precinct as well with good authentic places, as well as fast food (I recommend Murano!)
I would like to sincerely thank Mousa, Mohammed, Safaa, and Hanem from the housekeeping team at Gewan Hotel for their outstanding service. We stayed on the 8th floor, and from the moment we arrived, their attention to detail, cleanliness, and genuine care made our stay truly exceptional. The room was always spotless, well-organized, and refreshed on time, with thoughtful touches that made us feel very...
Location is very good and a lot of facilities around it, rooms are very clean, restaurant for breakfast is good .

We stayed for 3 nights from 7 to 10 December 2025. I gave 3 stars because, for me, cleanliness is the main reason people choose a hotel. Of course, friendliness is important too, but cleanliness is my number one priority.

The location very bad

Those hotel is not as better standard. It’s need to review on your furniture in the elevator is not very safe.
While I can see where some of the reviews may have some genuine grouses, they helped adjust expectations and it turned out to be a pleasant short stay at this hotel.

My stay at Mamluk Pyramids Hotel was very pleasant. The hotel is clean, cozy, and beautifully designed with an authentic Egyptian touch. The staff were polite, helpful, and made me feel comfortable. The room was tidy and quiet. The location is perfect for visiting the Pyramids and nearby attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special stay in Cairo.
Very clean, excellent service, and the receptionist was delightful.
Great. You can see the pyramids.
Great pyramid view from the breakfast area. The hotel is super convenient, just 200 meters from the pyramids. It offers excellent value for money compared to other nearby hotels. The staff were friendly. We arrived straight from the airport earlier than the official check-in time, and the front desk kindly allowed us to check in early, which was a huge plus. However, the surrounding environment and...
This hotel truly surpassed my expectations. Its location is excellent, just 50 meters downstairs from the entrance to the Giza Pyramids complex. Cairo, 21 Mohammed Mazhar, Zamalek, 11211 Kair, El-Kahira, Egipet (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Room is slightly old. And it is not exactly in the center of Zamalek. So you need to walk out around 10 min to the main shopping area. Their hotel is located at the embassy area which is safe. You are able to have a great view of the Nile river. The service is ok, staff is friendly but the staff here are quite slow.
I chose this hotel because it's located within the embassy district. The entire street is lined with various country embassies, which made me feel a bit safer staying there! It's also backed by the Nile River, offering visible and beautiful scenery!
Arrived at 8 AM but check-in was at 3 PM. They let us check in at 2 PM since a room was available. The front desk service was just okay, not particularly welcoming. The breakfast buffet was quite good. Room facilities were a bit old but still clean.
The room was old and had a strange smell; Cairo hotels are really something else. The bedsheets and duvet covers were so pilled that I had to use my own bedding, otherwise, I couldn't sleep at all. All the facilities were ancient, from the last century. Opening the wardrobe almost made me dizzy, and using the hairdryer for more than a few minutes felt like my scalp was going to crack and my hair would...
The location is good, in the Zamalek embassy district of Cairo, which feels safer and relatively quiet. However, the room facilities are generally old, and disposable items like toothbrushes and slippers aren't provided. The breakfast selection is okay, but the coffee cups weren't clean, so I had to ask the staff to replace them.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The room was old, the bed smelled, and the sheets had a bad odor. The hotel's only saving grace is its location. The staff were sometimes haughty; it felt like you were annoying them! The breakfast buffet wasn't good. There were a lot of guests from the Gulf region with significant etiquette issues. Avoid this place unless you only care about the location and are staying for a maximum of two nights
Nice location, friendly staff. It is noisy as well due to the central location
The room is spacious and in a good location.
I stayed here 30 years ago, in 1995, and booked it again because I knew it was a great location.
Staff was absolutely lovely, very helpful.
Breakfast was amazing.
Room was decent BUT, bathroom floor is designed such that water pools in the middle.

I absolutely loved everything!!! It's clean, the grounds are huge, and there are a la carte restaurants. I did miss a decent coffee machine at breakfast, but that's just nitpicking. Otherwise, it's excellent for the price.
The hotel facilities are complete, but the rooms are a bit old. Parking costs extra.
Pyramids Park Hotel is a very nice hotel with an excellent location, very close to the Grand Egyptian Museum.
The swimming pool is amazing, the food is exceptional, and the room service is very good.
The internet is fast and reliable, and the pool towels service is well organized.
Overall, it was a great stay and I highly recommend this hotel
The hotel is located near the pyramids. It's a completely enclosed hotel; vehicles have to go through security checks to enter and exit. It's a resort hotel with a very nice environment. I tried both the Italian and Japanese restaurants inside; the food was decent. In October 2025, we spent two nights at the Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo. The room was comfortable and looked out over the pyramids and the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). The downside? It also looked out on the highway so was fairly noisy. But, hey we were jet lagged, so that did not pose too much of a problem. The breakfast buffet had just about anything one could desire, including cold hibiscus...
Started off badly but ended on a very good and happy note. We were allocated two cottages in a area where a lot of renovation work was going on. There was a lot of noise and dust as well. Impossible to cross the road on foot to visit the fantastic Grand Egyptian Museum opposite, but we found Uber worked very well for all trips & excellent value. We were given a room that was loud next to a bar and was no hot water. We asked to move and they moved us and that was nice. The staff was lovely and helpful. But not sure if it was the nights we were they but there was loud music every night till 4-5am so sleep was hard to come by. The views were great of the pyramids, but sleep is important.
The hotel is located next to the Giza Pyramids scenic area. You can see the pyramids from the room. The room is clean and tidy. The parking lot is in the yard downstairs and it is quite dusty. There are quite a few restaurants nearby and the food is good.
Once we walked into this hotel everyone made us feel safe and everyone was so friendly and nice it made us feel more at home rather. Would definitely recommend to others for there stay/visit in Egypt 🇪🇬 ❤️😊 My friend and I will definitely be back at Egypt and when we do we will make sure to book this hotel again for the next time❤️
There is no air conditioning in the public areas of the hotel, which is incomprehensible. The hotel often has power outages, 4-5 times a day, the breakfast is very poor, and the restaurant has no air conditioning, the environment is very unfriendly.
This hotel is 15 minutes away from the pyramids. The balcony can see the pyramids. The price-performance ratio is not high, I will not stay there next...
We stayed at the hotel for the last night. We were going to visit the Pyramids the next day, so we decided to stay near the scenic spot so it was easy to walk there. The pyramid view room is a bit noisy near the roadside. It's not a big problem if you bring earplugs.
The location of the hotel is very good. The pyramid view room is worth staying in. However, the hotel facilities are a bit old and the breakfast is not good. However, this should be the most cost-effective hotel nearby that can see the pyramids.

Great location, right near the entrance to the pyramids, and you can even see them from the restaurant! When I checked in, the front desk staff warmly showed me to my room. Everyone was smoking cigarettes and the smell was everywhere even on the clean towels and linen when they were changed over
From time to time I visit Cairo and prefer to stay at Alnabilah hotel, the rooms are clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cairo.

I swear to God, one of the best hotels in Egypt in terms of dealing with the staff, brother Ashraf and Brother Sharif, and a very, very, comfortable and wonderful hotel. For me, I feel comfortable in it.
