Luckily, I had money on my card, but I no longer felt like making any other purchases at the hotel. The system for beach towels, tied to the room number, is strange

The food is tasty, though without exotic seafood. The grilled food is delicious, and there are various soups. Lots of vegetables and different meats

Towels were given out strangely; on the first day, there were two (for two people), and then one was added each day. But the towels and linen were clean. Of course, there are no slippers or bathrobes in the room

Fruits included guava, physalis, melon, apples, oranges, dates, and bananas. All the fruits were tasty and ripe. But the alcohol is a real pain; it's of terrible quality. We got seriously ill after trying it

However, you are entitled to a free lunch at the Italian restaurant, which is located at the end of another hotel (a 15-minute walk or about 8 minutes with the transfer, which runs every 10 minutes)

Beach is lovely and snorkelling from jetty amazing. needs updating but we were happy and comfortable. Nice buffet with wonderful choice. Service everywhere was friendly and helpful

The hotel is beautifully located right by the Red Sea, with a stunning private beach and crystal-clear water — perfect for relaxing and snorkeling. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling

Red Sea rep left us to go to reception ourselves, no welcome drink. Reception staff very un welcoming. Twice during our holiday we asked them for info and directions

no help at all! When they wanted coins changing for notes they were changed men!! Now the good. Grand Makadi has a wonderful pool area. Lots of sunbeds and helpful staff

The hotel has a laid-back feel with lots of pools and space, so it never feels too crowded. The beach bar was a highlight, a bit livelier than the lobby but still relaxed

Some staff are great, others come across as uninterested. You’ll also be regularly interrupted by spa sellers and excursion reps, even when trying to relax by the pool, which quickly gets irritating

The staff were very helpful and food was amazing the rooms were clean and tidy and amazing pools for kids and adults specially the warm pool with slides would recommend and would come again

The food is good. Staff are soo friendly and animation team are amazing. The beach is clean and and the waters is super. Hotel is highly recommended

rooms are amazing, food is very delicious. they have 4 pools, and long beach where you can do snorkelling. I would advise you to rent snorkelling fins and goggles for 30 egyptian pound each from city center for 1 day

This is a great resort, fully accessible by golf carts, multiple pools and restaurants, views from beach front rooms is amazing. Stayed for 5 days and have seen 5 wonderful sun raise from the room...

I love the vibe. The hotel is full of hidden gems. It has 2 salt water pools and one fresh water. The rooms are spacious and very pleasing. Several restaurants offer breakfast and dinner.

And you can do snorkelling all day in hotel's beach. Person who showed us room looked at me with eyes "give me tip", but I didn't give tip

Overall, La Meridian Resort is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and excellent service in Dahab. The serene environment, combined with top-notch amenities, makes it a memorable destination

Highlight was snorkelling at the private beach. On a few minor negatives that I feel I should mention! Pool snack bar at aqua park not that appealing. Very dark seating area and the food options were minimum

The main restaurant was especially welcoming, and the service really stood out. The swimming pools and aqua park were a highlight of the trip

The pools were clean and well supervised, and the slides provided endless fun for both children and adults

The food throughout the week was excellent, with a great variety available at every meal. There was always something for everyone, including plenty of fresh options and dishes the whole family enjoyed

Being all inclusive is great but the drink options not so great. Only local spirits available which were vodka, brandy, whisky or gin. If you don’t like those then you’re limited to what you can have

Overall, this was a fantastic family holiday, and we would happily return again. Highly recommended for families looking for great facilities, excellent service, and a fun, relaxing atmosphere

The hotel grounds are green and well-maintained, and the staff is very attentive and responsive. I do wish the birds wouldn't steal food from the terrace, but overall, for this price range, everything is good

I got diarrhoe from their food, (dispite this it was delicious) also their network is pretty slow and for a couple of days it was not available to coonect to it, except next to the other houses and in the main area

Other from these everything is perfect, it is very atmospheric and it is worth seeing it. Love to the staff there, one of the best who I've ever come accros with

I recently stayed at Amphoras Blu Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, and it was an amazing experience! The resort is truly beautiful and well-maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms offering great views

But! There's an even bigger advantage: the hotel offers convenient deep-sea fishing trips

The ocean view room was beautiful, the room was new and very clean, the front desk staff were great, the breakfast was especially plentiful, the juice was delicious, all freshly squeezed, and the food and beverage manager really valued the guest experience, checking in on us every day

Except for the construction area, everything else is quite satisfactory. The snorkeling on the boardwalk is really great and the corals are beautiful

But the facilities in Sombay are not very good and there is nothing to eat

We chose a sunset boat trip for 10,500 Egyptian pounds for two hours and caught over a dozen fish! The kitchen can prepare two different dishes for 300 Egyptian pounds! It was such a wonderful experience that I didn't care about the renovation noise at that moment

Also, I want to mention the room. The "King Room" is perfect for families with children because the sofa in the picture can be opened up! It opens to reveal a large double bed

The best room wing of this big resort for me. A wonderful views on the beach at a side and to the pool at the other side.

Beaches are very clean and the resort is very clean and tidy, including general bathrooms all over the site

Well-developed infrastructure of the hotel is a mini city within a city-has 10 restaurants,many shops,market,(fruit not sell), a well-equipped beach area(sand),there's a sunset in the sea from the Central beach

Lots of swimming space (you are not limited to a small patch like at some other hotels). Rooms are a bit dated but that's alright. We enjoyed the company of resident cats 🐈

The sea is just super, great beach. The territory is huge and beautiful! There are many stores where you can shop, no need to go to Old town and Naama Bay. Time "in Domine", is an hour from the Egyptian

There are evening shows, a diving center (highly recommend - boat trip+dive+lunch+equipment rental is 25$), disco, casino, Spa, pool, etc. Cleaning and change of towels in the room was carried out daily

Aqua blue is in the middle looking out of the reception. To the left is the aqua park, to the right is the aqua vista. All three are in a line & it’s only a few minutes to walk to either aqua or vista from aqua blue

The aqua blue nighttime entertainment is at the stage at the aqua park & vistas is mainly a disco , it’s in front of the swimming pool & the vista restaurant

Some people say the food is not hot, the main culprit was chips & some rice. All the restaurants have three sections & we dined in the middle section of the vista restaurant where the food was always hot

If you travel with TUI they will tell you the coach number on the app & 2 days before yo leave it will give you your pick up time. It’s 15 minutes from the airport & we were the third drop off in Sarfaga

The middle section done lots of roast meat & veg, with a nice beef gravy. if your food is not hot don’t eat it, try something else, there are only 5% of brits at all three hotels, lots are east European

Check in was swift & we were soon in are room. The room was in great shape with no problems at all, we were in 5216 which was near the main poll, their three restaurants & the large coffee lounge

What made our stay extra special this time was the amazing service from Sayed, the lifeguard, and his entire team. They were always ready to help, incredibly friendly, and truly made our stay even better

The rooms are excellent, clean, spacious and fully equipped. Everything here is just right. From service to facilities, it is complete. There is a reason we keep coming back for the fourth time

The only thing we could complain about is that a few bartenders very aggressively wanted more for a tip than we offered for each visit, even though we didn't require anything special

For the 4th time we returned to Pickalbatros Sands in Port Ghalib and that already says it all. This hotel remains the perfect place for us to truly relax and enjoy

The beaches are beautiful and well organized, with excellent towel service and bars conveniently located everywhere. The sea is crystal clear, ideal for relaxing or snorkeling

The pools are well kept, drinks are decent, and the sunset walks make everything even more special. Overall, a very positive experience for all of us

I appreciate it is unfair to leave towels on sunbeds for hours when you are not occupying them but precedent had been set in the hotel and their application of this was unfair and inconsistent

Wonderful stay with delicious food and good weather. Entertainment team made my holiday better with their smile and checking if everything is okay

We were then offered 4 sunbeds which had someone else's towels on. which I accepted aware that this would only lead to further problems

Our room was literally 5 seconds away from the Mediterranean Sea – you could open the door from the bedroom straight to it! Every single staff member was incredibly helpful

The only good thing about this hotel is the large, clean swimming pool! Everything else is simply awful. The furniture in the rooms and restaurant is dilapidated

Food was lovely, with the buffet you would always have many varied options and even with fussy children, they never went hungry. All the Restaurant's on property were amazing

Rooms were immaculate and Housekeeping always left that wee surprise in your room that made you smile, some very creative art work with towels and fresh flowers

It may not be a fancy hotel but it is probably hard to find another hotel for this price that serves three meals a day, is close to the sea and has a pool

The location of the resort is great. Quite close to supermarkets, restaurants, and the marina. The pools and the beach area are amazing and were the highlight of our stay

The hotel is very large, with 6 or 7 restaurants. The service is very good, and they will always help with ordering drinks and changing plates. It is very suitable for a family vacation.

A fantastic hotel! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the restaurants were all delicious, though dinner reservations are required. You can also visit the aqua park next door

The resort looked spotless everyday, and we were especially impressed with seeing workers out tending to the garden, maintaining the walkways and areas outside ground floor rooms

But your a few mins from namma bay town, so we nipped out most evening for a walk. Went to the beach only once but its very near good food & drinks there also. Room were spotless & very big very comfy beds

Special mention to Adel the pool guy who made sure we had sun loungers next to the pool each day so the kids could play in the pool in front of us

My daughter loved the mini disco and the animation team did a brilliant job each night. The food was the only down side of the stay. Breakfast was fine and always something to eat

The room was immaculately cleaned throughout our stay, big bottles of water were topped up daily. Super choice of food both in the restaurant and the snack bar/restaurant close to the beach

We stayed for our 10th wedding anniversary and were welcomed with a fruit basket and some wonderful decorative touches in the room. We had a ground floor room with outdoor hot tub which was quite private

Perfect end to our Egypt trip relaxing by the pool and sea for 5 days. The resort was great, and being adults only was so peaceful. Rooms were very comfortable and quiet

The beach is beautiful, clean water with many marine lives, good for snorkeling. The room and food are acceptable. Many cute cats 😻. The reception and the house keeper are very helpful.

Dinner was by the pool, and during peak hours, you might have to wait for a table. It took about ten minutes to walk to the beach

At night, with the lights on, you can see tons of fish; we even spotted mantas, sea turtles, and small shark groups! The hotel's cats are really well looked after, all spayed/neutered and eartagged, kudos to them! The air conditioning is a bit noisy, and the sound of condensation in the pipes is noticeable

Sharing the same beach as Arabella, this hotel isn't directly beachfront, but it's much quieter without kids around. The food was decent; we ate very well for our two-day stay

There are evening shows with audience interaction, and during the day, you can just lie on the beach and snorkel – perfect for a relaxing getaway
