Jaz Makadi Gardens - TUI BLUE Makadi Gardens - Adults Friendly 16 Years Plus Hotel in Hurghada

Absolutely love this hotel! It is by far the best we have stayed at. First trip to Egypt.. staff here are very friendly and attentive. Hotel is clean tidy and beautiful surroundings. Close to the beach which is ideal! Would definitely come back again!
Special mention for Mahmoud Sobhi who showed us some gorgeous napkin folding skills over dinner.

First time in Egypt and it's not disappointing at all. This hotel is clean and friendly and the food is great. This is made more enjoyable by the waiting staff especially Mahmoud who is very attentive and helpful.

Our second time in Egypt, having previously stayed in the same area.

The hotel is in a gated complex, which is fine and will give people peace of mind.

It takes about 40 minutes from the airport and when you arrive you have to hand over your passports, so you can get your room key.

We had a pool view room with a balcony and it was ideal to see all of the free beds around the pool. The room had a walk in shower and a king size bed. The bed was nice and firm. There was a TV in the room with a number of English channels and if you like your football, go to channel 105 and above for all the premier league games. We watched the Liverpool v Newcastle cup final on ITV, what a win. There is air conditioning and as others have said it only goes down to 20, but that's fine.

You get two bottles of water replaced daily, amount with soft drinks, no charges for these.

The main restaurant is large with seats inside and out. Plenty of choice to suit all tastes and both repetitive. Loads of desserts and fruits as well.

There is a snack bar which only serves food between 12 and 2, but plenty of choice again.

It's a 5 minute walk down to the beach and plenty of beds in the hotels allocated space.

Use the TUI blue app to book the restaurants and a big tip is to book at 7am when the system resets. The Culliinarium is fantastic and we had to contact TUI to get this booked, as the app only gives you dates when you aren't there. There is a number of restaurants you can book, but you only get one to choose one on top of the Culliinarium. We went with the Italian and they did was great.

My only gripe was when the waiters came round asking if we wanted drinks, they only asked me, not my wife. This happened a number of times.

It's adults only, which is ideal for a reflecting holiday.

We loved our 2 week start at the TUI BLUE Makadi Gardens. The hotel is kept clean and well maintained. ALL the staff are very friendly with warm welcoming smiles, they treat you like they have known you for years and make you feel special. .A special mention to reception staff, waiters at the Star Bar and the writers at the buffet. The food was very good with an ever changing choice in the buffet. The beach is stunning, our area is shared with the TUI BLUE hotel next door. Loads of loungers and shaded areas. ALL the beach staff were amazing!! Snorkeling around the reefs at the beach is exceptional.
