Food, drink and service was amazing. The entertainment and waterpark was a big bonus.
The weights and machines in the gym need an update. The cardio equipment is ok.
The 830pm entertainment in particular the Michael Jackson show was fantastic. I think if they updated the sound system it would make it much better for the singers that perform after the shows.
The hotel is nice, but the rooms are not well isolated against noises. Food is 6-7/10, service 6/10 but even at the pool and at the beach you‘re constantly annoyed from sellers for everything at every time! You already answered 3x with „No thanks“ but they keep asking. Ridiculous!
Why isn’t management doing anything about it?
Few further Facts for the hotel: no sparkling water in your room, only refilled tap water, the house wine is aweful, you are forced to buy better wine, free laundry service only once, the advertised spa area is a joke with broken showers, old sauna and an overall dirty appearance. Loud music from other hotels until 11 pm. Cocktails at the Pool Bar are not good, without any love. The cocktails at the Lounge are better, but also not the normal standard.
Beside that, À la carte restaurants only one free Dinner, but these are good!
At least we visited Cairo but this is a mess and extreme dirty, everywhere are scammers and overcharged prices for tourists! „Walking wallets“ is the best nickname for every non local.
They try to scam you at shops at the hotel and charge overpriced taxi fees to get back to the airport. Uber drivers not an option, because they will cancel the order if you don‘t pay extra money.
We were prepared and knew about this, but never imagined this kind of behavior!
Never ever again! There are other countries in the middle east which are not like that.
Update: They overcharged us for the minibar and had no change at the reception . The guy before handed us the change without demanding.

We spent 7 days at Iberotel Makadi Beach and everything was perfect. The food was excellent with a huge variety every day, and the à la carte restaurants were unbelievably delicious with beautiful settings. The service across the entire resort was flawless—attentive, respectful, and always delivered with a smile. Our room and the whole property were spotless and very well maintained, and the beach was just perfect. A special shout-out to the Magic World animation team: amazing energy, great vibes, and super friendly people who made every day fun. We loved our stay and would happily come back. Highly recommended! We truly felt right at home. We definitly come Back
