A lot of stains on the furnitures, could be better cleaned off. The sensor lights and the air conditioning system is weird as well.

Clean hotel, requested a bath tub and was provided. Early checked in. Breakfast was good. Sauna turned out to be time and gender restricted for 2 hrs each, so plan accordingly. Good and close to shops and restaurants and railway station.

Large clean room with comfortable bed.

Overall good experience. Clean, centrally located, easy access to the parking. Breakfast buffet good. Little issue with the parking payment as I was unable to pay at check out. Now the parking company will send the bill to the car rental company, which might charge additional charges for processing the parking ticket.

Average hotel Its an ok average hotel, nothing fancy. Good price for families with small children. Bit old and worn. Medioker breakfast. Elevators is kind of a hassle.

We had a view towards wall in the third floor. Extra bed was too hard for an adult. The air conditioning was not cool enough because the blankets were very thick.

The room facilities are basic but can meet the basic needs of travel. The breakfast is good, and parking is convenient, as it's in the same building.

What a lovely hotel! It has an inviting, striking lobby, staffed with kind people. It’s near the city center, the Aura River, shops, museums, Turku Castle & Cathedral. Breakfast buffet is great. Used a hotel bike for 4 days while there to explore lovely Turku. Staff is congenial and helpful to a foreigner who asks many questions! I highly recommend this charming boutique hotel!

Everything seemed quite new, very friendly personnel, only possible less nice fact was that we could not try the restaurant as it is colosed on sundays. But we found nice restaurants down by the river.We will definitely come again here with my husband-

Good quality hotel A good Sokos hotel with central location, just a few minutes of walking to marketplace. The breakfast is one of the best I've experienced in Turku, with a lot of warm and cold alternatives and some nice local products also. My room was tidy and beautifully decorated. The reception staff were great and attentive, and even managed a room for me even though arriving very early.

It's far from the city center, so it takes a little time to get back to the hotel in the middle of sightseeing, but it's very close to the tram station, so I think it's quite convenient. In the middle of Vasa and close to everything We had a great stay at this hotel. Easy to check in and special price on Cava at the roof bar. The room and bed was excellent. The breakfast was also good with a lot to choose from.

The hotel is in the center of the city. You can easily take a bus to the airport, too. Breakfast is also nice.

5 stars, great location and while rooms are small they are immensely comfortable. A special shout out to the receptionist when i arrived late on Sunday night, he was very friendly and really made me feel welcomed after a fairly arduous journey.

Located at the city centre. All the restaurants and shopping centers were less than five minutes walk away. Breakfast buffet was amazing and the common facilities like the gym and sauna were also well-maintained. I had a beautiful view of the city centre from my room.

Original Sokos Hotel Royal is situated at the center of Vaasa. The downside is very limited availability of free parking (i.e. none), upside is a central location from everywhere, including the train station. Perfect resort for a family getaway. Young kids will love this place — snow play is everywhere, and there are gentle slopes ideal for beginners to sled. Rooms are smaller than usual, which is understandable for a resort focused on children’s activities. Overall, a fun and family-friendly stay.

This is the only hotel that I found unhygienic during my 2-week trip to Northern Europe. The bed smells, there is no Wi-Fi in the room, you have to go to the lobby, which is far from the room, and there is a 24-hour bar, which is a bit noisy.

A Private Sauna! We booked a room with a private sauna and LOVED it! The room was large and comfortable and will be a highlight of our trip.

Good hotel location in the center of the city within a short stroll to shopping (Forum, Sokos) and restaurants. Our room though was at the other wing accessible only via a tunnel at level 'K'. Room size is standard size, not particularly large. There is an iron room to wash and dry clothes. The pool and sauna are accessed along 'K' level while the gym is at the annex we stayed at.

Welcome Return Visit I have stayed here before and hope to again. Right in the center of town and an easy walk to the train & bus station. The single rooms are small,particularly the bathrooms but the location, breakfast and friendly, helpful staff more than make up for tha. And there’s a pool and sauna!

Mostly good – great location & friendly staff. The ventilation was very bad though – the aircon didn’t stop the room being very stuffy and smelly. If the window was openable (even by 10 or 20cm) that would make it a lot nicer, and probably wouldn’t let anyone fall out. It would also be much nicer if there was a kettle in the room, to save having to go downstairs to get a cup of coffee

Breakfast offerred varied selection. The desk staff was extremely helpful. Our room needs were a bit different from other guests because we needed to modify the heavy bed covers and the housekeeping staff was helpful with our use of sheets & towels.

We loved our stay at hotel U14. The staff were all hospitable and helpful. The room was super clean and the beds were comfortable. It's located a short walk from market square, the tram, and many shops and restaurants. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

We were 2 adulta and 2 kids sleeping in a small room. The size of the room wasn't an issue but having to tolerate the heat as the AC was not working and the alternative solution would have made us all sick from draft, I cannot see myself revisiting this hotel. We did complain but the staff said they couldn't do anything to the issue. Pretty bad to advertise AC in rooms and then it is not working.....
