Hôtel Monsieur & Spa in Paris

We tend to stay in boutique hotels when traveling because we generally find them more charming, and these rooms had charm!
I found this hotel to be clean, super quiet with helpful & friendly staff. I had a very large room to myself with a balcony! I believe it was called the Superior Balcony Room. The view from my window was beautiful and I loved the very Parisian decor.
The bathroom was clean and very large for Paris standards, with a very nice shower & lots of water pressure. My room also had a little desk area with a Nespresso machine. There was amble closet space, and there was even lovely white bath robes & slippers. Loved that touch!
We ate breakfast at the hotel for convenience sake, & it had everything we needed, with a very attentive staff member managing the food.
The only reason I gave a 4 for rooms was because the room my sister and brother-in-law had, needed a bit of paint touch-up here and there, and the bathroom door had a large chip at the bottom. Nothing that would ever prevent us from staying there again though… just a bit of wear & tear. Their room had a very lovely large balcony, which unfortunately we did not use because it was chilly. They were equally happy with their room and had lots of space.
The location was excellent! Walkable to many sites. I think this hotel was quite economical for what we ended up getting. I did a lot of research in order to get this type of hotel in a quiet, safe area, and I’m glad it didn’t disappoint.

Amazing hotel great location fantastic and helpful staff that really looked after us. The rooms are very nice and the bed was very comfortable. There was nothing not to like about this hotel

Wonderfull hotel at top location in Paris, near shopping street (la fayette et Printemps), Opéra and place de la Madeleine.
Small luxury hotel, with friendly and helpfull staff, clean and spacious rooms nicely decorated. Breakfast buffet and area was OK but smaller than I expected.

I booked the Sacha Guitry room for a 3 night stay in Paris, with my partner and 10 year old son. The room was perfect, the location was perfect and the location was perfect. It was almost like having two adjoining rooms because the space set up (pull out single sofa bed) was in a separate area with a door so we could close it in the evenings, to continue watching TV after a long day of touring, while my son slept. We also made use of the private terrace to have dinner in the evenings (we had nice weather every day). It was a calm and welcoming spot to come back to after a long day. The terrace was facing inward (not overlooking the street), which was perfect because there was no noise. In fact we didn't even feel like we were looked upon by other rooms because only two other rooms in the whole hotel have terraces and we couldn't see them from where we were. We also had breakfast everyday, which was very nice. The coffee was made by a machine, but a good one (self serve) and there was a good selection of hot items, continental meats and cheeses, fruits, lovely pastries, fresh juice. Yes, maybe you could get something more simple for less than 18 euros each nearby, but for us it was great value, and a convenient way to start the day. Also, they don't seem to advertise it, but children eat free, so it was even better value for us, only 36 euros a day for the three of us (two adults and one child, free), so we couldn't do better than that even if we did want to venture out to try something else for breakfast. The staff were very helpful and put with my basic French, but they all speak very good English!

Nice hotel, perfect for a few days stay in Paris.

Great location for all the main Paris attractions.
Also, the perfect location for metro and over ground trains e.g. overground to Versailles!
Many nice restaurants locally, if, as we wished, not to wander too far for our evening meal.
Centrally located, ideal place to stay.

I had a lovely long weekend in Paris staying at the Hotel Monsieur. The location in the city was perfect and I could walk everywhere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would recommend a room on the street level rather than the ground floor to avoid the traffic noise, although it was nice. I would stay here again.

I loved my first time stay here! The staff was amazing, friendly and very willing to help me in moments of need. The solo traveler room was so cute, I love the esthetic of it. Exactly as advertised I’d say even better in person. Very comfortable room and it was quiet. Within walking distance from a lot. My window view was beautiful. I felt extremely safe as this area is noted to be one of the safest. Pricing was decent for what I was getting. I highly recommend this hotel. Very cozy and safe stay!
