Not my top choice but Hotel Costes had Bar and SPA under renovation. It was a really good surprise with generous rooms, great service and lovely little gym which is at ground level so flooded with natural light
The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and almost just as import, very quiet! We stayed in a Delux King room. We eat breakfast and ordered room service, and like the hotel the food was unique and high quality
As a first time visitor to Paris I didn't know what to expect from this hotel. It was located in a lovely area nearby the embassies and high end shopping, within walking distance to the Concorde Metro station
We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel itself. The staff was warm and welcoming and more than willing to help us in any way possible. The room was clean, well appointed and offered plenty of closet space
If we were missing anything they quickly provided it. We only ate breakfast there, but it surpassed our expectations offering continental breakfast, as well as regular breakfast items cooked to order
Close to the hotel is the affiliated Buddha bar (2 min walk), and that is definitely worth the experience. Great food and music!!! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel
Paris, 45 Rue des Acacias, 17th arrondissement-Batignolles-Monceau (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Beautiful hotel in a good location. Nice rooms and friendly staff. They have to rely on cleanliness, because in addition to cleaning, they also change the complete sheets every day. There was nothing to complain about
The breakfast spread was excellent and so varied that I didn't get tired of it, even after four days. The staff were all very friendly. The location is fantastic, very close to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées
Considering it's Paris, this hotel offers great value for money. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, the hot and cold water taps worked perfectly, and the location is also very good. Highly recommend!
Breakfast was also excellent, featuring fresh ingredients and served by warm, friendly staff. This was our second stay, and we'll definitely be back
The location is great with many excellent restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and it's just a short walk to the Arc de Triomphe
Spacious rooms, beautiful surroundings, and excellent service.
Paris, 15 Rue de Nancy, 10th arrondissement-Entrepot (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Convenient location, easy access to train stations, very good service at front desk, especially like the waiting area. I was upgraded to a suite, very kind of the checked in lady
I like the area the hotel is in. Room was small but you get what you pay for in Paris. Gym was quite lacking in that there was only treadmills and no free weights at all
Aly, was the best part of our stay, sincere and gracious. Always helpful each day of our stay. Very happy to be a part of making our stay in Paris the best that it could be.
Excellent Stay at Le Grand Quartier 🇫🇷
We had a truly memorable overnight stay at Le Grand Quartier. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel warmly welcomed
Breakfast was exceptional—the smoked salmon and croissants were absolute standouts and easily some of the best we’ve had. The location is also perfect
I enjoyed my visit. I was impressed by the professionalism and kindness of the host especially Aly. She became my go to for experiences, restaurants and transportation and she was always pleasant and polite.
Comfortable bed, great linens, very nice room. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. If the weather is good, I suggest eating out on the balcony. The hotel is in a great location
But the hotel is in a good location and has a nice oasis in the back. The hotel loses a star for me based on how dated it appeared and the wear on the carpet and bathroom tiles in our room
Excellent lighting, in fact, the best I have ever had in a hotel. I stayed here in 1994 and would certainly stay here again
The bed and bathroom were cozy and comfortable, every for a larger man. Also, the neighborhood was perfect with excellent dining across the street. We definitely enjoyed the breakfast every morning as well
Very pleasant and busy boutique hotel. Good breakfast. We had 5th floor room but there are lifts and although small very clean and functional room. Reception staff very helpful and knowledgeable.
Very nice hotel, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast buffet, welcoming and helpful staff. My single room had a double bed, desk, fridge/minibar, and small divan. It was quite spacious compared to many hotel rooms in Paris
Paris, 64 Avenue Marceau (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Ive been coming to Paris for the last few years and stayed at different hotels but this one was THE BEST! There's a staff member there named Jelena (spelling) who made sure that my time there was exceptional
This is a very good quality hotel with clean, recently renovated rooms, lobby and restaurant
Great location and breakfast was goodm. Hotel was smallish but very comfortable
The hotel is close to the Champs-Élysées and its facilities are excellent.
One of best cozy hotels in Paris
She along with the staff there was SUPER ATTENTIVE to my husband and I. They decorated my room for my birthday and left a very nice personal note for me which was such a beautiful touch to my stay
Paris, 7 Rue du Helder, 9th arrondissement-Opera (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Amazing 5 star hotel in center of Paris . Room and spa was just excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to come back here again .
I booked it for the blogger; the location is pretty good. It should be quite nice.
Good hotel in a great location. Very clean and quiet.
The room is really too small! Too small, expensive, small, and you can't change rooms! The overall environment is depressing!
Facilities: Mini, but OK
Environment: Small garden
Service: Generally good
Hygiene: Relatively clean
Advantages: Good location, behind the opera house, very close to Galeries Lafayette, 10 minutes walk away
Bad review. The massage and spa were not good. The laundry was not returned even after I checked out.
Is it because I only stay in cheap hotels in Japan? There was no language stress as I didn't have to ask questions about baggage storage, check-in (you do this while sitting in the lobby next to the hotel, and they offer coffee or cocoa), baggage storage, etc
Paris, 3 Rue de Montalembert, 7th arrondissement-Palais-Bourbon (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This is the most satisfying hotel in Paris this time! The facilities and environment are very good
The hotel service is very good. The overall accommodation is very satisfactory. There are children staying with us. They also thoughtfully prepared children's supplies and dolls and balloons
I would like to especially thank the night shift staff, they are superb!
The location is also very convenient, very good!
The room was small but clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and patient. I must praise them. The city walk was very nice and the Seine River was also very close.
The hotel is very close to the city center, about 10 minutes by car. There are many restaurants nearby, and there is a supermarket than the wheelchair.
The location is very convenient and close to the Orsay. I confirmed the email before check-in and hoped to be arranged a room with a better view. As a result, I was given a room at the back
Paris, 8 Rue De Richelieu, 1st arrondissement-Louvre (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Small rooms but otherwise excellent hotel
The location is perfect, right next to the Louvre, very convenient to go anywhere! The service is terrible. The hotel's washer-dryer combo is awful; the door wouldn't open after the cycle ended
The breakfast was so good! The BEST, The staff, so welcoming, so kind, nice and willing to help in every possible way
Everyone knows you need to wait for the washing machine to cool down before opening it, but this one just wouldn't open
The staff are friendly and can communicate in English. The kitchen is fully equipped. There's a convenience store nearby, as well as a number of Japanese restaurants. I tried two, and both were excellent
The location is excellent, close to a lot of famous galleries and convenient traffic. Calling Uber is always within 5 min.
Paris, 92, rue de Vaugirard, 6th arrondissement-Luxembourg (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel's location is great, just a 3-minute walk from the subway station, and there are bus stops nearby too, making it really convenient for sightseeing. The area is very safe and quiet
The only downsides were that it was hard to open my suitcase without moving the chair, and the bathroom was tiny – barely enough space for one person, let alone two
For around 150 per night this is the best you will get in the are. Rooms have been upgraded recently. Walking distance to the Metro. Staff has been very friendly.
The room in Paris was the smallest I've ever stayed in during my Europe trip. We were put on the top floor, and the window was an attic style
There was a small section of the room where I couldn't stand up straight, but it was a unique attic experience. The overall decor was pretty good
Clean room and convenient location! Bus stop and metro stations are just few steps away. Can go to all the tourist spots very quickly and conveniently. Snacks and minibar are complimentary. Bedding is not that good.
Paris, 30 Rue la Pérouse, 16th arrondissement-Passy (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Superb hotel, excellent location near l’arc du Triomphe. Excellent amenities and service, amazing staff. Looks way much nicer than all the pictures online
Staff made every minute feel special and pampered. Walking distance to key sites, but tucked away and quiet from the crowds. Rooms were very nice and suprisingly spacious contrary to some Paris hotel rooms reputations
Great Hotel for Family Vacation
A wonderful property with plenty of space for our family of six. It is also a central location near the Arc de Triumph that made everything walkable or easy access to the trains
Nice stay with family at this hotel. Very nice big room. Kids also enjoyed the pool given it was a really hot day. 10 min walk to Arc de triumph.
Champagne bottle in the room was nice touch.
Staying at the Majestic Hotel and Spa in Paris in mid-June was an experience in refined luxury. The hotel, located near the Arc de Triomphe, offered easy access to the city's historic and cultural sites
Located just steps from the Champs Elysées, the hotel offered a tranquil retreat in the heart of Paris. The spa was a highlight, providing a serene escape from the bustling city
Paris, 16 Av. de l'Opéra, 1st arrondissement-Louvre (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The Nolinski impresses again! Ever imagined living in a beautifully appointed and decorated Parisian apartment in one of the best locations? For five wonderful nights, my two young sons and I had this with our Nolinski stay
We appreciated the little touches in the room: the first night we had 2 melatonin pills on our bed to help us sleep through the jet lag, the bidet toilet, the second turn down service each day, a happy anniversary cake, a happy birthday balloon, the blackout shades, and the best part of all is that you can request the Dyson Airwrap, or Airstraight to your room whenever
We found the room and amenities to be amazing(the steam room was my favorite). And the restaurant was unbelievable. I'm not sure we have ever had as consistently good and accommodating service
What made our experience truly unique were the thoughtful touches: one evening, they offered guests a relaxing laser mask session, and the rooms included elegant amenities like a Dyson hair dryer—small details that show how much they care about guest comfort
This hotel is amazing!! It is a boutique style hotel- not too big and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is wonderful. We were upgraded upon arrival to a junior suite which was beautiful and spacious
The staff, location and stunning rooms made returning back to the hotel feel like coming home after a long day of sight seeing. The pool and spa area were a welcome sanctuary
Paris, 8 R. Bréguet, 11th arrondissement-Popincourt (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel was clean and comfortable, the walk in shower was excellent. Located about 5 minutes from the Bastille Metro station it was perfect for travelling into the centre of Paris
The hotel has a delicious breakfast, clean rooms and good service
We visited Paris for two nights between Christmas and New Year. We choose the hotel as we were travelling with our parents who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary
It was wonderful. Great breakfast!
Great hotel, only down its no one tell us there is another lift to access to the spa and pool area, and when you have shower in room, the room is really steamy
Nice hotel but a bit small and kids jumping in the spa which was annoying should be adult only :)
Jihad and Patrick and one lady that unfortunately couldn’t remember her name, were amazing they recommended the best restaurants and were kind enough to do our Versailles and Seine river tours
We’ve had a terrible experience at one of our breakfasts and making it the reason for not giving 5 starts. Nevertheless , we would definitely recommend and come back as well
They are full of recommendations & will always welcome you back to the hotel with a smile :) Each of them are a special part of the memories made on our trip & we will definitely be staying at Hotel Balzac for all future trips to Paris! Thank you so much!
Lauren & Caroline
Had the best stay ever! Rooms are really nice and clean, beautiful view. Service is beyond great, everyone was extremely helpful and welcoming
Overall, the whole hotel had an incredible luxury feeling, with attention to detail and beautiful Art Deco design elements throughout. Everything from the lobby to the room felt thoughtful and elegant
Absolutely beautiful hotel & prime location, stunning decor and high end finishes. Staff were wonderful, professional but also very friendly. Breakfast was overpriced for what it was
Paris, 8 Rue Jean Goujon, 8th arrondissement-Elysee (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Opening the windows to see the Eiffel Tower was an unforgettable touch that made the stay feel even more special. The location is excellent—both beautiful and convenient—and the staff were truly outstanding
They were extremely helpful in allowing me to stay an extra night (in the same room!), printing train tickets, and even sending up complimentary champange after I explained that I had just gotten engaged and wanted to extend my stay!!! Overall great experience and even better - never heard a peep from any neighbors the whole time
I had a wonderful stay at La Maison during a two-day solo trip to Paris. Upon arrival, I was graciously upgraded to a suite, which was a delightful surprise
The décor throughout the hotel is modern and avant-garde while still remaining warm and cozy. Thoughtful details, such as shelves lined with books, give the space a welcoming, home-like atmosphere
An easy, and amazing walk to the Place de la Concorde, Louvre, or Arc de Triumph. Reasonable price for the rooms. A nice breakfast for reason prices. Super friendly and helpful staff
The room was beautiful, with a stunning bathroom, a truly heavenly soaking tub, and an exceptionally comfortable bed
Paris, 42 Avenue Gabriel, 8th arrondissement-Elysee (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The front desk and room service were top-notch too. Our room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed — all really good quality. Checking out was fast and friendly as well
Excellent if all aspects of accommodations and service. Location is fantastic! The place to stay when in Paris
Every interaction reflects a completely different environment, built on genuine, precise, and consistent attention. The reception, the staff, the concierge, the room service, everything operates with remarkable fluidity
There is a discretion, a precision, and a sincerity in the service that leave a lasting impression. La Réserve delivers a standard that very few establishments achieve, not only in Paris but internationally
We enjoyed a 3 night stay in this exquisite boutique hotel while enjoying warm hospitality. The 3 star Micheline restaurant was incredible (Gabriele). The owners of this hotel are food and wine centric
Our recent short stay at La Réserve in Paris revealed a level of service that is hard to imagine in a city where one believes they have seen everything in terms of luxury hospitality standards
Paris, rue de l'Arcade 17, 17 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I hope Jeff gets some sort of recognition by his management team because he truly is a great person and seems to enjoy what he does. Our stay would not have been what it was without Jeff
Relaxing, welcoming friendly and well located with obliging staff, this hotel leaves you at ease. Dining in is recommended.
The staff has been here for years and are the best I have ever worked with in a major city. The Concierge staff is the best of the best - Eric (33yrs), Jeff, Greg and the entire front desk are 5+ star
Staff is excellent and this is the hotel I choose whenever I am in Paris
The check-in process is quick, ensuring that you can settle into your room without delay. The staff is attentive and ready to assist with any inquiries, making you feel welcomed from the moment you step inside
Here’s a professional and positive review highlighting the various aspects of this charming hotel:
Reception and Service
Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a friendly and efficient reception team
Paris, 8 Rue Cambon, 1st arrondissement-Louvre (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel offers very good overall quality and is located in an excellent area – perfect for shopping and an ideal base for exploring Paris. Many attractions, restaurants, and shops are within easy reach
Our first time staying at this hotel. It is an excellent location. We had a delicious breakfast and Samuel took excellent care of us on our last day. The rooms are a little worn down to the traffic, but clean.
The breakfast is very good with a wide selection. A special mention goes to Jannah, who was extremely friendly, attentive, and very helpful in the breakfast area. The only aspect that could be improved are the rooms
The hotel is in a great location. The staff is extremely helpful and service oriented. Excellent staff both at the breakfast restaurant and at the bar. At breakfast, Juana, Marie, and Alexander and others were excellent
Room is a bit outdated but clean and well maintained. The room is actually very sound proof compared to majority of the hotels with similar star level over US. Staff is very helpful and attentive
Rooms are nice and clean, All hotel staff are very friendly and helpful with reservations and other questions. The hostess, Johanna, was pleasant and offered much assistance
Paris, 6 Rue Chauveau Lagarde (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It is one of the best boutique hotels in the center of Paris. There are luggage carriers and slippers. The bed and quilt are also very comfortable. The corridor and elevator are very beautiful
The location is very good. It is convenient to walk to various attractions.
The hotel is in a very good location
Very cost-effective, good location👍
I think this price is very good for this location. The front desk is small, but the lobby has chandeliers and large sofas lined up in a tasteful way, and I liked the comfort of sitting
The room was very simple, cute and clean. It was so comfortable that I extended my stay. The shower has a movable shower separate from the fixed one from above, which was good for me
Paris, 17 Rue Washington, 8th arrondissement-Elysee (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. They aren’t just good, they are exceptional. Warm, thoughtful, present, and genuinely invested in their guests’ happiness
This is the 5th stay at our fav boutique hotel in Paris. Everything about this place is personal, and from the moment you walk in the door you’re special. You’ll love it here if you want to avoid large hotel chains.
What a wonderful hotel and spa! From the moment you arrive, you are taken care of by professional, attentive staff. The lobby and bar exude a rich wonderful Parisienne scent
The restaurants offer the most delicious coffee and eggs you have ever tasted and the spa an oasis in the center of Paris
Monsieur George is a charming boutique hotel in a wonderful location, and our room had an absolutely beautiful Eiffel Tower view that made the stay feel extra special! The location was nice too, a quick five-minute walk along the Champs-Élysées gets you to the Arc de Triomphe, or a 25–35 minute walk in the opposite direction down the Champs gets you to the Tuileries Garden, the Eiffel Tower, and the...
The only reason this isn’t a five-star review is the room cleanliness, which didn’t meet the level expected for a luxury property. Everything else —the view, the location, and especially the staff— was wonderful
Paris, 11-15 Rue de Constantinople, 8th arrondissement-Elysee (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The room is cleaned everyday if you would like and all your things are left right where you put them even if they had to be moved during cleaning. Location is amazing as it is right next to the metro and train station
The room was spotless clean, the design of the room and all the areas was astounding, you can feel how's much care went into it. Will I come back? Without doubt
Room was very small but everything inside it was great. Staff was courteous and extremely helpful even with someone like me who does not know French
The rooms have names associated with Marcel Proust, this adds authenticity. Very good location - everything is nearby, within walking distance. The rooms are not so small, balconies. Breakfast is available separately
What a beautiful, beautiful place. Chic, style and care - the level of service we received at SHL was above and beyond any expectations
Breakfast was nice with good options, and the overall service was really good
