Would not recommend this resort, the buffet breakfast was not good they need to offer more variety. Didn’t have any hot food available, rooms are very little no room to unpack bags or move around. The neighbourhood didn’t feel the safest so would recommend uber after dark

If you are looking for a less expensive accomodation within 1km of the old port (Vieux Port), with good wifi and secured parking then by all means go for it!
But take into account inexperienced reception desk, uneducated staff (likely on minimum-wage "SMIC") treating customers as nuisances, a "restaurant" more similar to an industrial-quality canteen looted by 9AM and with unhygienic conditions, and further a general feeling of dilapidation withthe 3-star valuation more likely to be 2-star.

I was really surprised how great this place is! The rooms are huge, and the spa is included – it just needs a little freshening up. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it, and the bar is worth checking out. Plus, their restaurant buffet is really good.

First time i stay in a “village” but maybe the last time as well. Room… ok i would say but amenities …. Well we got towels. But they get changed every 4 days. In summer where ppl shower as is hot i find that absurd. That was about it. No soap, or shampoo or any other basics and no housekeeping. Again, once a week?
Service, well, i guess working with junior people but at least they can be trained. Front desk were trying to be helpful so cant complain. At the bar however is not worth asking for a cocktail. My experience was mojito is overpriced soda water.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel.
-The dinner was cold and partly inedible.
-Payments in the restaurant and bar only accepted by card.
-The room was not cleaned, even upon request. Reason: Our stay was less than 7 days.
-Replacement bath towels were only available at reception in exchange for the dirty ones.
-A second room card for two people was reluctantly issued.

Absolutely horrendous hotel. We almost cancelled before we checked on account of the poor service at reception for the morning lady. We booked a double room and then was advised that only twin beds was available on the day we were due to arrive. Advertised as air conditioned however only down 25 degrees which is the outside temperature anyway… our room is boiling. There is a sign saying ask reception to change it for you. The answer was nothing can we be done until tomorrow. Children running up and down the corridors screaming. The customer service has been appauling throughout. Would not recommend staying here and devastated we ruined the last part of a perfect trip to Eraygues in this hotel in Marseille. Shuttle will only take you to the edge of town although the driver is lovely.

On day 4 of a 5 night stay and regretting my decision to come here. The pool is nice and not too packed, the beds are reasonably comfortable but each bed has one flimsy pillow which isn't very nice. There was no hand soap in the bathroom and in 4 days our towels have not been changed and the room has not been cleaned. Any requests at reception - like an extra key for the room, get a sharp no. I had to practically beg at reception to get clean towels today. I was also barked at by the breakfast room staff for not having my wristband, even though the rest of the family had theirs on. Breakfast was a pretty poor affair as well - croissants, bad coffee from a machine, some cereal and fruits - and no fresh milk. There is a kettle in the room but only 2 plastic glasses that aren't suitable for hot drinks and 2 meals teabags. The location is poor as well. This part of Marseilles and most of the rest I have seen are pretty run down and I wouldn't feel safe walking to or from the hotel on my own. It's cheap for a reason and next time I think I'll pay a bit more for a better location and an ounce of customer service. Would not recommend.

The Marseille's Village Club du Soleil is a nice place for families. It's well located (not so far from Palais Longchamps and Friche Belle de Mai). We have enjoyed the food with a nice buffet (different country's menu every day). The swimming pool is perfect for the kids. There's a playground not so far from the restaurant and we could keep an eye on our kids ...
