Staff were all very nice, but the hotel felt a like it needed a good deep clean, carpet on the stairs was dirty, skirting boards chipped and bashed. Our room, on the 6th floor smelled damp and a little of sewage. Provably would have been ok if it could have been aired, but window were shut and could not be opened. In all honesty, we would not stay here again, which is a pity as its position was great.

Shower had slight mold signs and there was dust in theroom. Breakfast was good, but floor was very sticky. Room can be noisy due to emergency vehicles outside, but did not prevent my sleep. Stairs are unequally spaced and angled which may represent a tripping risk for people. Staff was great!

Good place to stay and close to the old port
Well situated close to the old port. Good breakfast included in the price of the room.
I recommand it.

This a simple hotel right in the city centre for a good price.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful.

Room had everything I needed and nice powerful shower.

Free buffet breakfast with plenty of vegan options.

They had a water cooler for filling your own bottle.

Located close to a trashy zone (mouse, garbage and very bad peaple all togheder around) inside the hotel appear old and bad managed. The elevator is a trap, the ladder terrible, during the night the insonorization it is not good. Last point the breakfast: limited option and absolutely below Ibis Style standard. A lot of work to do.

Staff very nice. Reception area furniture stained, dirty tables. The carpets look as if they haven’t been cleaned since the hotel opened. Room spacious, but reading light didn’t work. You have to ask for the room to be cleaned, but when we did the sink was still dirty andthe carpet wasn’t hoovered. It’s located in a good place to get around but not worth the money. The breakfast was acceptable.

The experience in this hotel was below average and doesn't reflect the quality of Ibis Style: Elevator out of order most of the time, unpleasant smell in the building entrance, average cleanliness, etc...

The hotel is relatively old, but overall it is clean and the guy at the front desk is funny. The elevator is broken and cannot be used, and the spiral staircase is fascinating

I've stayed in worse places. It's very central and that's the biggest plus. But cleanliness is the issue here. Our room was not great when we checked in, room was not cleaned during the day. Thin walls and a bit noisy at times too. But it was only for a couple of nights so its bearable.

“Choose your room WISELY”
If you're lucky you get a room that's decent. If not you might regret it.
Some rooms are renovated, for example the room I was given in the front of the hotel. This was after I requested to change rooms because the first one I was given was ran down with a bad view of a ran down back alley area.
Getting to your room is a challenge. The hotel setup is like a maze. You get off the elevator and you're NEVER on your floor... you either have to go a bit up or a bit down with the stairs. Never seen this before.
The toilet (bowl) is in a separate room than the bath and sink - I guess it's a french thing.

Room Tip: Pick a room in the front. They might be renovated
