Decent hostel, but too cramped up. Barely space to walk after another bed was put inside the 8 bed dorm.
Clean bedsheets. And overall clean
Nice lady, trying to do her bit. She is pleasant and tries to help out!
Sadly NO LIQUID soap in the bathrooms. Which meant very few people washed their hands from the soap bar.... Maybe not hygienic
No air-conditioning as advertised. There is a unit, but not used at all!
Payment by cash. But nearby "Basis Bank" allows withdrawal without fee!

Featuring a garden, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, Lovely host- Batumi Sun Hostel is a 9-minute walk from Batumi Beach. Ideal place for solo travellers.
It was more like a home away from home. I was the only lady traveller at that point in time, the host made sure I was safe and comfortable at all times. Felt warm and safe throughout my stay in Batumi. Thank You for being an excellent host.

I came here with my girlfriend. This place was like our home. We felt very safe and peaceful. The host is an excellent person. The beauty of the building, its room doors, windows and interior architecture is unmatched. This was the place we enjoyed the most in Georgia. It is in the most central location of Batumi. The most popular places to see here are within walking distance. It's a amazing to walk Batumi streets every day. We came for a day but stayed for a week. It is possible to reach the train station, bus station and many places with a single vehicle. If you come to Batumi in winter, it rains a lot, don't forget to bring a poncho and a pair of rubber boots. It was an amazing experience in every way.

Great location. There's a piano which is a big bonus in my book.
Staff was usually friendly unless when they urge you to write a review on booking. There's a dog that is cute, but likes to lie on the beds of the ground floor, which was ok for me though. The rooms are small, but I met really cool people, which makes it better. In the end, the price is very fair.

Very good experience !! A young boy, part of the hotel staff, picked me up from the airport for a fair price. As soon as I arrived I was comfortable: spacious, bright and air-conditioned room. Every floor has a balcony good for working or chilling. Many bathrooms among the building. To repeat for sure !!!!

The host asked for money before showed us the room and we gave her. We waited there until the checkin time. When we see the room, facilities and environment we decided to give up and leave before the checkin. Before that she didn't show us photos of our room. She wanted 40gel from total 50gel! Terrible client experience. We highly not recommend about this place!

We booked our stay through Airbnb, we paid 87GEL for four beds for 2 nights. This price was suggested to us by Airbnb. After one night our host came to us and demand paying more. She wanted 200GEL from us, she said that we made up our price (87GEL) and that we never find stay for just 90GEL in Batumi. We contacted Airbnb support but they couldn't help us and we didn't know what to do. Our host was angry and mean, she told us that if we don't pay we need to get out. At the end we found out that she gave us wrong room. It was her fault, but instead of apologizing she started yelling at us. We weren't aware that we should sleep in a different room. She just wanted to deceive us and take more money from us. It wasn't worth the price. For me bathrooms and rooms wasn't very clean. I don't recommend this hostel, you can find much better stay for better price in Batumi.

I was nervous about arriving in foreign city, but the family who runs the hostel was very welcoming and this made me feel safe. I also met a dozen foreigners at the hostel during my time here and they were all very high calibre people, many became my friends.
