Went to the Ballonglühen and was really disappointed, how they didn’t provide an area for handicapped people. There was a roped off VIP section and the beverage line wrapped around the building. Priorities I guess. There is plenty to be desired for the inclusion of people with disabilities. For 2025 it’s rather tone-deaf.

Great hotel with a magical view and a great owner with staff. Highly recommend. Really good food and breakfast. Great place for hiking and mountain biking with restaurants on the tops with great view over everything

Absolut tip for spending some nights in the Tegernsee area. Friendly staff, stylish bathroom, tasty dinner and amazing breakfast (mostly a la carte and all included!) were only beat by the view from our room. We cannot wait to come back!

The service was great, food is delicious, but the difference make the friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms a newly renovated with a modern touch but still remain cosy at the same time.

Wonderful old building with beautiful traditional interior. The room is very comfortable and clean. The bathroom is large and well equipped. Excellent views of the lake, mountains and countryside. Wifi is not very good but is adequate for email and general surfing.
