A hotel with good rooms, typical of the Ibis chain.
We booked a room with a balcony, plenty of space, and a separate bathroom.
The location is very convenient, close to the metro station and shops and restaurants.
The breakfast is good, but always the same.

I stayed 4 nights here solo and it was perfect for me. The whole hotel was very modern and clean, and my room was facing away from the street so it was super quiet even with the window open. The only noise I ever heard was when people talked loud while walking by in the hallway. The location was amazing for my first visit to Berlin, just a short walk from many interesting places and attractions, and it's right at the Wittenbergplatz Ubahn station, so it only takes around 15 minutes to get to central Berlin. There is an Edeka across the street, and a Lidl and a little Netto are both nearby too. Even though it was perfect for me, I think the room would be tight for 2 people, especially the room with 2 beds as it doesn't even have a table, just a small shelf and a chair at the nightstand. I also used the second bed for my clothes and tucked my bag on the other side, but I think if you had 2 people you would have to store your clothes either in your bags or on the little shelf. However, the bathroom areas were a great size, and I liked that the toilet had a separate room, so that would be great for 2 people.

Berlin is the one city where I have stayed in dozens of accommodation, from youth hostels to 5 star hotels. I've been visiting regularly for over 30 years. Ibis Budget Kurfürstendamm is one of the better low-budget hotels, even within its chain. Well located, adequately maintained and decently priced. Yes, rooms are small, but not as small as e.g. easyhotel Hackescher Markt, where you pay about the same, but get even smaller rooms at a less convenient location. Breakfast is adequate. You shouldn't expect 5 star amenities if you pay for a one-star hotel. This hotel will work for anybody understanding the concept of a budget hotel. Keep in mind, this is not even an Ibis Hotel, it is an Ibis BUDGET Hotel!

The hotel is well located with shops and restaurants nearby. Good hotel for businessmen and even for those looking for a hotel with charm.The room is convenient and the bed comfortable. Good amd simple breakfast. Clean and tidy. Good service. There is a lady at the reception her name is Imane and she is outstanding. The other staff and managers are great.

I was going over for a Hertha game in the Olympic Stadium. I was only staying one night and wanted a hotel not too far from Zoo Station. I found this hotel and I knew with IBIS that there is always a reliable hotel whether it is budget or not. The price was excellent for what I received. The hotel is located in a very quiet area opposite Wittenbergplatz U-Bahnhof. It is near to the huge Department Store KaDeWe and there are plenty of shops nearby. Zoo Station is about 10 - 15 minutes away depending on how fast you walk. The room was nothing special but what do you expect from a budget hotel!? It has a comfortable bed, tv and a good shower. I had a good nights sleep. I was in the room 803 away from the main street. If you do not fancy the stairs then there is the lift which comes regularly. I don't know if there is air conditioning as it was a cold day/evening the day I was there but the heating certainly worked perfectly. Breakfast was fine. There was an egg for warm food but the rest was a mixture of cold food, cereals, juices, coffee etc. Again no problem on my side. It filled me up for the day. Staff who I met were friendly and if I came to Berlin again, I would certainly chose this hotel.

Fantastic for the price. It was a little over 500 euros for two people for a week. The room was tiny, which we expected, but comfortable and very clean. Room service came every day. The front desk staff were very helpful when we asked dumb questions. You would never find this kind of quality at that price at an American chain.

What we did not expect was that it would be comfortable and very clean and that the staff would be so helpful in answering our dumb American questions. Also, if you arrive before check-in time like we did, they will hold your luggage in the cloak room for you, so you can start your vacation without having to tote your suitcase around.
