Best Hotels in Berlin

All of the staff were helpful and friendly, but we mainly dealt with Gvansta who was an awesome receptionist! She was very welcoming and willing to have conversations with us throughout our stay! She helped us plan things to do, places to eat/drink and how to get to them on public transport! The room was clean and comfortable and the location was good too

The hotel is equivalent to a low end 3 star hotel. The location is very good in the heart of Berlin. The lift, rooms and the lobby is a bit dated, though it is not bad by any means

It is a good place to stay for a couple of nights. The breakfast is average with limited options. The staff in the reception is very friendly and helpful

Great location, staff pleasant, room was better than expected, although could use a face-lift, bathroom was nice too.

About a 10 minute walk to the train station or a 3 minute walk to the bus stop with lots of food options around too!

A hotel located centrally and a 10 minute walk from the Zoological Park. I've stayed a few times when in Berlin for work. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean albeit a touch dated in terms of decoration

The hotel is near several stores, an U-Bahn (Sophie-Charlotte-Platz), an S-Bahn (Charlottenburg) and you are very fast into the middle of Berlin. The hotel is clean, easy to find and the receptionists are helpful

We didn't have breakfast as we went into the city for that, but the rooms were very comfortable and the evening meals were superb. Great place close to the Olimpiastadion and transport links

The room is spacious, clean and the bed is good. The only thing I miss is a coffee machine. I have been here two times before and I can still recommend this hotel. A very big compliment to the waiter of the restaurant!

There needed to be more variety for break fast ..not same menu everyday but all in all very good service and quality of food

My room, while small, had a lovely view of the lake. Housekeeping was very responsive to my needs - just would like to mention that washcloths and thicker towels in the bathroom would have been greatly appreciated

Lovely location overlooking a lake in a quiet area. The rooms have a welcome old-fashioned charm. No tea-making facilities in the room. Beauful dining room & terrace

Close to metro station: Wittenbergpl. I just got off the plane and arrived that day. I arrived at the hotel around 10am, thinking of putting my luggage away

The waiter was very nice and said there was a room for me to check in immediately, very courteous

The environment is comfortable, and I am very satisfied.

The hand soap and shower gel were both unusable because they were broken and wouldn't dispense. The carpet on the floor was quite dirty, but everything else was fine.

They don't have an official breakfast but every morning they offer plenty of choice of pastries "on the go" at the desk with coffee, tea, ect. If you look for more there is a nice bakery right in the front of the hotel

KaDeWe is also in the corner such as the whole street with plenty of big brand shop. The staff team is the best hotel team i have ever seen, everybody is nice, welcoming, helpfull and profesionnal

Location of the hotel is PERFECT, you have a bus stop at the top of the street, a subway at the bottom of the street on the line U2 straight to the center. Convenient Edeka and Netto around the corner

The hotel is basic, but has everything you could need for a short stay - comfy bed, great shower, quiet location. There was also free coffee and croissants the next morning, which was very welcome

This hotel deserve all his stars and did not disappoint at all ! Bed are confortable, room soundproof, bathroom big enough, modern and simple room decoration

Will definitely become my base hotel from my futur trip in Berlin

The hotel is new and the room is average. The bed is small, but the mattress is of a big brand and I slept very well. The price of the hotel is a bit expensive

There is no air conditioning, the room is not very clean. But it is close to many restaurants.

The price was favourable compared to similar styles of apartments in Berlin, and I would return. If you don't know Berlin, this area is recognised as a very good part of the city

The service is very good, the location is very close to the railway station, and there are many restaurants around, which is very convenient!

There's an excellent REWE supermarket a 5 minute walk away on Bismarkstrasse, opposite Deutshe Oper, next to Shakespeareplatz

Service was good. Polite and helpful staff. Facilities was average. Clean and tidy.

It could perhaps do with a few more utensils/equipment in the kitchen, but most people probably won't want to do the amount of cooking for themselves as I usually do. It was extremely clean and generally very comfortable

What's also good is the U-Bahn and S-Bahn Station Heidelberger Platz is only about 10 min (if slower ) is far. In General, a super Hotel and I am looking forward to the next year

The room was clean and tidy, and parking was easy. While the facilities are a bit dated, it's perfectly fine for a simple one-night stay. It's great for families and highly recommended!

The hotel is located approximately 2 km outside central Berlin. The room was quite small, offering a very economical, no-frills experience that reminded me of typical budget accommodations in Japan

Walking distance from the tram station. Staffs are kind. Check-in is quite convenient.

There’s an Ubahn station right next to the hotel and there are loads of places to eat in the nearest area. If I come to Berlin again, I will for sure come back to this hotel or one somewhere else

Price was okay, relative clean, bathroom was weird. But neighbourhood was very nice, good restaurants nearby and location next to the metro was good.

We really loved the stay! The service at the reception is really helpful and when we had a problem with noisy neighbors they went and solved it right away

A very lovely stay at the Meninger Alexanderplatz. We had a room for 4, convenient and clean, staff is super nice and helpful and the hostel is well located (metro station is really right in front of it)

The price was great, the location was good (as long as you don’t mind walking a bit) and above all it felt safe

Fantastic hotel! We stayed in one of the apartment rooms with sofa bed, it had everything we could want- plates, cutlery, glasses, coffee machine, fridge freezer with ice! The two things we’d change are the hand wash by the sink was actually body wash, and as a result had exfoliating grains in it- definitely not hand wash (!) and the pillows were ridiculously soft with no form to them, which did impact...

Hotel was in a great position for SBahn. Situated in the Mitte area near museum island and Berlin Cathedral. Alrxanderplatz was a 15 minute walk. Hotels offers an online check in/check out which was very easy to use

Staff member on site when we arrived who was very friendly and helpful. Room was small but immaculate and bed was really comfortable. We would recommend as a great place to stay

I stayed at Hotel ZOE in Berlin for about a week and was pretty happy with the property. The location is excellent, next to not just plenty of restaurants, stores, etc. , but multiple hubs on the Berlin metro

It is very easy to get wherever you need to go from here - I didn't use a taxi in my time and explored a lot of the city. I also found it to be quiet and easy to get a good night's sleep

I had the pleasure of staying at the yard for 10 days this past July. From check in to check out, the service was friendly and effecient. I stayed in large room and the room was spacious, cool, and had a great shower

The garden is nice when there are no smokers, and it’s a quiet area. A few improvements can be made: -the mattress is too firm - the floors need soundproofing, i can hear footsteps all the time above me

The location was ideal for our purposes, it was a nice walk to the transit station and places of interest in Kreuzberg. Thank you for a great stay in Berlin!

Is well situated and the price is right. Walking distance to the metro. The staff is courteous and helpful. They offer breakfast but it is pricey.

An absolutely gorgeous hotel! Beautifully setup with huge suites and a fantastic breakfast. The staff were all lovely and could not have been more helpful. The included mini spa setup in the basement is aym added bonus

There are also plenty of electrical outlets throughout the room and bathroom, which I really appreciate. The breakfast is extensive, something for everyone. And it’s a great location too

The staff here is amazing, very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are nicely appointed, and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable

A second stay and a pleasant one. We went for the superior room and whilst nothing was necessarily better than the previous room, aethsteticly it was different but that's about it

Just spent a week at this property. Especially Victoria at the front desk. She was a great piece for helping and advice for our stay in Berlin

Flow, the bartender took care of us also every evening we decided to have drinks and relax. Overall the staff made it that much special

Hotel is in a good location and has the unique offering of self catering rooms and 2 bed room accommodation (a rare find in Berlin)

The hot water supply could be better. Everything else is fine; hopefully, it will maintain its current cleanliness. Also, wouldn't it be more appealing if the breakfast staff greeted each other with a "Good morning"?

By sheer coincidence a cleaning lady saw us and helped on the last floor when we were checking out. Otherwise nice facility and good for a place with a group

It had fantastic reviews but in our opinion it was average. Laundry service was outrageously expensive which is the case with all hotels we stayed in in Germany. The wash box laundromat was excellent and not too far away

Area itself was not that exciting but very convenient in terms of access to transport with the city only two stops away. Staff had significant language problems with both German and English

Had to correct some simple maths on the bill (they tried to bill me an extra night) and was told to get train to the city to find an ATM when there was actually one less than 100m away

I liked that it was not located in a typical tourist area. The neighborhood was more working class, lots of immigrants, a real slice of Berlin life. Good access to a major transport hub at nearby Gesundbrunnen Station

Adjacent shopping center was nice and covered all needs. Classy German dining at nearby Lichtburg restaurant. Desk staff were helpful and spoke very good English. Quiet neighborhood--could leave the window open at night

Cozy room near the metro station (7 minutes walk). Nearby supermarkets Rewe and Lidl. There is an elevator in the hotel building. The staff is polite and always ready to help

Room was spacious and clean. It met our needs, close to public transport and good for the price we paid.

Clean room, close to train and bus stops, 15 minutes from the city centre. Very close to shopping centres and restaurants.

It was further away from central Berlin than I would’ve liked but transport is very easy so that doesn’t impact my review. Im a tough critic too. I would absolutely stay there again.

Room was clean and location was convenient. Stayed for three days and had no problems. The staff were all helpful and polite. I’d say the only drawback was the bathroom could have been cleaner but it was no issue.

Would recommend to book without breakfast and explore the great possibilities in the neighbourhood! To end on a positive note: the surroundings of the hotel are quiet and feel safe, and it is within walking distance of the Ku'damm and nice cafés and restaurants

I personally did not like the breakfast, there was no 'normal' scrambled eggs available and the croissants were baked too long. Also, I struggles with finding several products, as did other guests

We stayed at this hotel for one night and had the absolute best experience. The hotel it's self is absolutely beautiful and in a great location for business travel or leisure

The manager Sabastian was top notch along with the evening bar staff. We had a great evening talking with them, and they gave us great suggestions for places to eat and things to do in or 24 hours in the city

They just swiped our cards without our knowledge! We were stunned when we received a notification. Shouldn't we usually provide documents to confirm the information? Then they said, "Hello, ma'am, we need a deposit

We saw the male receptionist get up, see us come in, and then sit back down. We were completely ignored and had €400 charged without any explanation (we knew we needed to pay a deposit)

" And just like that, €400 was charged! Was this some kind of scam? We rang the doorbell upon arrival, and since there was no receptionist, we opened the door hesitantly

Would you like to pay by card or cash?" Then they said, "Oh, the room payment is already made. Now we just need to register your credit card

The breakfast was excellent, and I really appreciated that the hotel offered gluten-free options — a thoughtful touch for guests with dietary needs

The location is convenient, with great public transport connections thanks to the nearby tram. However, as a woman traveling alone, I did feel a bit unsafe in the surrounding area at night

Aside from that, everything at the hotel itself was excellent

Rooms are a good size, compared to other tiny rooms in mid-range hotels we stayed in Germany. About a 10-minute walk to the UBahn and buses. Several moderately priced restaurants on the block

The room was clean and uncommonly very very spacious, nevertheless a bit older looking. The location is good. A bus and metro station is close by. If i visit Berlin again i would definitely stay here again.

Our windows opened to the street and we could watch the street which was a good thing because our room did not have air conditioning. It was cool during our stay so it wasn’t a problem for us

It is a short walk to Wittenbegplatz with a metro entrance, shopping and dining choices while being tucked away on a quiet side street. There are also several restaurants on the same block as the hotel

It is just something that should be noted during the warmer months. They probably have fans but we didn’t really need it. Overall I would recommend the Artim

The rooms are nice and the restaurant is really good! It isn't much of a gathering place, from what I've seen, but it's close to an S7 line that takes you to them

And it is in a very good neighborhood. Comparing the price to another places, i think it iw a fantastic place to stay

It is not very close to the center but close enough. There's a bus stop 10 minutes away by walk. Every 10-15 min you can get a bus to the zoo, the center of Berlin. It is taking just 30-40 minutes

I stayed here several times. It is a nice hotel, with clean rooms, modern furniture. The internet works well
