Shower cabin was small though. Water did not drain fast enough. So after a few minutes of showering there was a pool around the feet. Location is good! Across the street is the metrostation

Cheerfully artistic excellent location, infront of Charlottenburg train station. abundance of eating places around. Internet is a bit slow... elevators do not go on all floors, travelling light is something to look at.

It's easy to feel like home here because the staff are extremely friendly, accommodating and deliver a high standard of caring service. I stayed a week at ART hotel and know I'd feel comfortable staying for even longer

At first glance when approaching the building from the outside we were hesitant about our choice of hotel as the outside of the building, which is a very old structure, requires a lot of maintenance but once inside our impression changed

The lift was unfortunately out of service for the entire week that we were resident at the hotel necessitating us trudging up and down stairs for the duration of our stay but at the end of the day it was not a big issue except on our day of arrival and then again on departure as we had heavy bags that needed to be lugged up and down

Below the TV was a cupboard that was obviously designed for a fridge but, unfortunately, no fridge was installed which was a pity as the room got hot during the course of the day and upon returning in the afternoon a cold glass of liquid would have been most welcome

It is located in a building from the late 19th/early 20th century with a marble hall and beautiful plaster ceilings in the entrance, dining room and sitting room. The hotel dining room looks out over the river

A tip, we bought the Berlin Welcome Card for public transport, which also gives you a 20% reduction on some tourist attractions. If you are visiting lots of museums it is also worth buying the Berlin Museums Card

On the right as you walk in the door was the large modern bathroom which consisted of a toilet, basin and good shower. In the basin liquid soap was supplied and in the shower there was liquid body wash

Very nice independent hotel. Convenient location with a subway station and Straßenbahn stops right on your doorstep. Slept very well, although because it is on a busy intersection it can be quite loud at night.

One single down side: No Air Conditioning. I don't need A/C, so that is not a big downside, but if you have a room towards the street and you sleep with an open window, it can become loud

LOVE the location - lots of great cafes, restaurants and shops. Great vibes and safe location. The rooms were a good size and clean. There is no air conditioning but they provided a fan which actually was fine

Room basic and a bit dated but very clean loads of hot water eat as much as you want for breakfast. I liked the place.

We booked a double bed room and we don’t mind two single beds being pushed together to facilitate this however both beds were completely different heights and had thick bed frames that meant they did not meet in the middle and there was a large gap

The bed was comfortable, the room was big and spacious there was a shower and sink in the room, and each floor had a shared toilet what was always very clean and had a lock which you were given a key for at checkin

Swimming pool is not used by guests very often - so you can swim alone. for minus: Swimming pool is shared by Klinik - so it is not available all the time and is only pool without sauna or jacuzzi

Staff was very kind and location is good. Curtains don't block out all the light so it is hard to sleep in. Hallways got noisy in the mornings with other guests and housekeeping staff. Decent value for the money.

The only minus is that there is a busy road next to the hotel, which was a bit noisy. While this didn't bother me, light sleepers might want to request a room that is not directly facing the road

The access to the parking spaces in the yard is definitely not for large cars. I was lucky and found a parking space 100 m further along the side of the road. The breakfast buffet was clear, but sufficient for my needs

Perfect location right beside S-Bahnhof Lichtenberg. The rooms are big and confortable, and they're reasonably priced. It has all the basic amenities you could need.

The beers are always cold and you cannot get any cheaper beers in the whole of Berlin. Close to Alexanderplatz, with a metro station right outside, this is the place to stay Cheers guys

The hostel just felt very public as anyone could come to the bar and it felt quite unsociable and not safe for a solo female traveler. I think in big groups it would be okay

But they went 1 full day with no liquid soap or paper towels. For breakfast they offer no eggs. The light in the room is very dim, but the rooms are spacious

I had a really nice stay! The hotel looks a bit dated but is still comfortable. The staff is friendly and the breakfast while simple, had a lot of choices

The window was open in my room when I checked in, so while the air in the room was fresh, it was cold since it was an evening in February. I had to turn on the radiator in the bathroom to try to warm up the room

I arrived for check in about 8pm. There is a small but perfectly functional bar. I was very impressed with the array of art work on display around the hotel. The room had everything I expected for a room of this class

I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this area if you’re a tourist as it has a bad reputation and isn’t near any touristic attractions but if like me you have plans there then definitely book a room at this hotel

very accessible from Hauptbahnhof Hamburg. The concert venues are within walking distance. This hotel is just on the edge of the Reeperbahn strip and is quiet. the Bus stops are very close to the front door.

The shower room appeared to have black mould low down as well as on the wall. The room was a good size though, with two single beds, a bunk bed and a table with chairs. There was a mini fridge, kettle and microwave

The place was clean, decent, and conveniently located right next to the tram. The owner was welcoming and kind, and there is also a lovely dog on site, her name is Bella! A good option for a budget trip

For American guests, this part is important: the hotel's bathroom is shared. there was a shower in our room, but no toilet. Fortunately, there were no other guests while we were there so it wan't an issue at all
