Bad experience, long check in, room was not good, people took our beds, wouldn’t stay here again

The hostel is large and difficult to manage, so the shower stalls in some rooms are broken and there's a bit of dirt under the beds, but for the price I paid it's fine.

Check In service is good. Room Cleanliness not happening in a week. When requesting team not updating clearly not considering guest request for Cleaning Toilet, Shower Room. Towel replacement not giving by staff for the Long stay for a week time. For a new traveler for 1 day everyday they are changing the Bed covers, providing towels. For a week stay customer not giving. Check in was smooth with self check in, beds are a little uncomfortable but everything else was good.

Their cleaning is really subpar, again. They don't change bedsheets which I am okay with, but they didn't clean the floor well and didn't seem to clean the bathroom and tables in the room at all. Otherwise, perfectly good hotel for the price.

Really nice hostel, clean room and bathroom. The staff are helpful and kind. The only slight downfall is the location, it’s not very close to the city centre but the walk is 40ish minutes walk to most of the famous attractions. Other than that, it is a easy to find and a good hostel

The hotel is quite a walk from the main train station, about 45 minutes on foot. The breakfast for a budget hotel was decent enough to fill up on, and everything else could be overlooked. However, it's really unacceptable that there was no heating in the middle of winter, and the air conditioning was just for show – it didn't work even when turned up to the max.

Simple but cosy place for stay

The counter staff were very helpful. Breakfast was a typical German breakfast, including bread, ham, cheese, and cereal. It's very close to the subway station, a 5-minute walk, and there are several supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, and dm drugstores nearby. The downside... the hot water pressure in the shower is unstable, sometimes fluctuating between hot and cold.

The room was quite small, basically just for sleeping. Check-out was at 12pm, which was fine with advance communication. Breakfast was okay.

I have stayed in this hotel during the hottest days of the year but AC temperature was set at 22 degree and upon asking to lower I was told that this limit is set by the German government so I asked for something in writing but none given and in fact lady got angry on me as if I was from another planet. Upon checking on the internet there is no such restrictions from the government. So please be careful...

The family room was incredibly spacious, and the hotel itself was spotlessly clean. The city center is also within easy walking distance. On-site underground parking is available, offering excellent value for money. The room never felt cramped.

Very helpful, friendly receptionist. What I don't understand is why I had to pay extra for my dog. I know it is standard, but the reason given is for the extra cleaning a dog causes. I'd get that if the room was immaculate, but when the carpet looks like it does in the picture, what exactly am I paying extra for? There was a definite lack of cleaning there.

Small but very comfortable room. 10-15 minutes from the airport by car. Free Wi-fi. Nice girls on reception, they speak English and very easy-communicative! Hot/cold weather in the bathroom. Very comfortable bed.

It's everything that you would expect from this brand: minimalistic and affordable. The tiny room is clean, the bed is comfortable, the staff are friendly. Don't expect anything more. Location near the train station has its pros and cons (good for getting around and full of fast food places, but not the tidiest of areas). It's a good option for young people and solo travellers.

5 min walk to the station. Close to red light district and not far from the touristy places. However you do have to pass by lots of sketchy people around the area (lots of people on drugs and the less civilised minorities). Very standard room, no luxuries - but that's fair given the price. It's situated in a dodgy area as it's near the main station which has a reputation for crime, however we didn't experience any difficulties. The shower is nice and the bed was soft, however the sheets don't fit well on the duvet and pillows. The reception staff were all friendly and welcoming.

Small cheap hotel perfect for staying a few nights in Frankfurt. The rooms are clean, the price is very reasonable and the noise level is pretty low considering its in the middle of the city. Only downside was the water from the shower drenching the floor and the showerhead needing a cleaning.

The hotel was great, just not close to the Frankfurt train station as indicated by my online search. But easy to reach Hbf via the S3, S4, or S5. The balcony was an added plus.

Better than it looks An older hotel in good condition. For the price it has what it should have. A plus was that there was underfloor heating throughout the room and it was nice and warm all over.

The room was large, but the location was a bit far.

There was an announcement that the front desk would close at 11 PM, but when I returned at 10:40 AM it was already closed and I couldn't get into my room because I didn't have a room key. A local visitor happened to help me out and I was able to get the key, but I guess it's too much to ask for friendly service considering the lack of guidance.

Good Hotel with clean rooms and free wifi. The staff was also very helpful all in all a good hotel to stay in during fairs.

We have been a night to celebrate in Frankfurt, and positively thrilled to have been absolutely Clean and great value for€ 20 pP. the night.

Fair enough to receive 5star for the cost of the accommodation per night. Parking space around the hotel is not an issue during the night. The receptionist(Samira) is also approachable and friendly.

Decent little Hotel. Only downfall in the summer time, the outside seating area is in the courtyard which is surrounded by hotel rooms. Could be an issue for sleeping since Germans don't have air conditioners which means you open the windows. Rented their apartment and really liked it. Service is friendly and very helpful.

This is a really clean hotel with lovely, friendly staff. A little off the beaten track but easy connection by bus, tram or train to the centre. There is a fabulous bakery opposite for breakfast and a restaurant downstairs for the evening if you want it. Everything we needed.

I had a great stay at Zur Waldlust Hotel. Very clean room, great hospitality from owner & people working there, location only 150m from S Bahn which is only 2 stops from Main station. There is a restaurant onsite usually open in the evenings. Bus stop 10 meters far. I stayed there 4 nights and fully recommend & would return in the future. Thank you !!

Very welcoming and friendly hotel. Squeaky clean. Comfortable, big rooms. Central Frankfurt we discovered as being pretty full on so we were pleased to return home to this quiet area each day. Was visiting live show at Jahrhunderthalle, so this location was a good choice from logistics point of view. Very friendly staff at the reception and hotel bar was working until last customer was ready to leave ;-)

Clean and quiet room. Out of the city center but the tram is right next door, so perfect.

The toilet stank. Because of the air conditioning, you shouldn't air the room, although I would have liked to do so occasionally. Okay for the price.

Good room, good location, right next to the Rebstockbad terminus of tram line 17. Breakfast OK (but the eggs were only boiled). Friendly staff. The only active elevator goes to every floor where someone has pressed the button.

Convenient self-service check-in

It is located near Frankfurt East Station, very close to the subway station. It takes about two to three minutes to walk to the subway station. If you go to a farther subway station, it takes about seven minutes. The transportation is very convenient. There are many delicious restaurants around, such as Turkish and Italian restaurants. The supermarket is also very close.

Lovely little hotel, near enough to restaurants and the city centre, and with plenty access to transport. Polite and helpful staff, comfortable room and all at an affordable price. Perfect for a place to rest your head.

Nice and clean rooms. The rooms are smaller in size, so if you are from US and on a trip with family then I would suggest take 2 rooms. They have breakfast in lobby which you have to pay extra. Their parking is on the back side of the hotel.

One stop far from main station. The receptionist is quite friendly and helpful. There is no boiling kettle in the room and even has no sufficient space for opening the luggage. But if just staying for one night, it’s ok.

I like how they tried to reach me because I was late for the check in and I find the hotel clean , calm and confortable ! I tried before B&B hotel so I trust it is a good choice and that is why whenever I go I choose it ! For female solo traveller it is safe and the price quality ratio is good !

This is a well kept property. The gentleman at check-in was extremely pleasant and provided lots of information about parking and checkout instructions. He also gave the location of some nearby restaurants. The room was very clean and of typical B&B size. Free parking was a nice perk. Hotel is about 10 minutes from the Frankfurt airport.

This hotel is very nicely decorated, modern and not overly busy. It is easy to get to. It is also very clean. The staff are nice. We can only recommend it.

So far satisfactory, but unfortunately there were bed bugs in room no. 217. After getting up on the morning of May 1st, I had 5 bites on my left upper arm. Because of this, I had to disinfect all the clothes and objects I had in the room. I hope I didn't bring anything home. Best regards Manfred Klittich

Goed location for travelling by car with family. Just 10 minutes away from the city center. Enough parking space. The hotel is clean. Breakfast is oke. Unfortunately one lady (staff on Sunday) with glasses was not friendly. Tha other staff was oke. That's is why I gave 7 in stead of 9 point.

Unable to get water , have to buy. We can’t enter the hotel after 11 pm or so.the area is fine,buses to station.

The price-quality ratio exceeds expectations. The compact hotel, without excessive noise and unnecessary movements, allows you to recover well during a business trip.

The room was small but adequate. It had all the necessities for a short stay. The bed was good. Unfortunately, the non-smoking room smelt of cigarette smoke. It would have had a better rating, if it didn't have the cigarette smell.

It’s a hotel with 30 rooms but right now they are doing some renovation work but still the management is doing their best to keep the quest happy. There are some Resturant’s near ( within 500m) Rooms are very clean. For the price it’s really worth.

The hotel is located about 20 minutes from Frankfurt airport. Preferably you go there by car or taxi - it´s connection to the public transportation isn´t the best (from the airport by train, bus... with several change-overs).
