Good quality price hotel. Rooms where a bit old and basic looking. But i post this review becourse the serice is verry good. Espisly the guy from the service desk. He did give us several times good service. Location is close to the msc harbor 10 min with taxi.

Great room size. Small sitting area beds were a little soft for our taste. As is very common in Germany it was impossible to find any TV channels in English or with english subtitles. Bahroom was a good size, but the shower floor Was very slippery. Breakfast was very good. Love the german bread.

A typical German vacation hotel with clean and well equiped rooms. Parking is remote but convenient close to the hotel. Breakfast is worth the money, and personal is friendly. Restaurants are within walking distance and shops around the corner.

Note that late checkin can be charged with up to 50 euro extra without an early notification! Make sure the hotel has your phone number for entrance after reception closing hours (19:00). Arriving after reception closing time you'll find a note with info regarding the additional 35 or 50 euro fee in German language only(!) and the phone number you can call for hotel staff to come and help. Rooms not luxurious but they are clean and fine for the price. Can be warm in the summer because some rooms are up under the roof. The location is nice and the free parking is a big plus. The Staff was truly lovely. They stayed open a bit late just to check us in, because our train was late. They did it with a smile and very kindly. I found that quite nice.

It was perfect except there was no AC.

No coffee in the room. No shampoo or conditioner. No complimentary water. Breakfast was good but—Very expensive breakfast at 25 euros.

The bathroom shower was not safe! The shower head was very high on a very high ceiling. Hence water went everywhere. But the worst was the fact that the shower floor was extremely slippery. Thankfully we did not fall!!!!

We stayed at the Hotel Kiel for one night. Unfortunately, our room wasn't very clean; among other things, the blinds were broken and the walls were dirty. It was okay for one night, but I wouldn't want to stay longer.

The hotel is ideal for a city trip, as you can quickly reach the train station and the motorway on foot. The sauna and fitness area are highly recommended. Unfortunately, our bathroom already smelled of smoke when we checked in.

The facilities are good for a few nights. But if you want to pass the time watching TV in the evening, the single room would at least benefit from a more comfortable chair than the one in the dining room. Or you have to lounge on the bed. hotel was convenient to family we were visiting. easy access to bus station into the town and shops by the lake rooms were clean but not great / towels were not always replaced. shower in tub was a little slippery and no handle to hold on the wall/ nice view of the lake from balcony

This is a very nice hotel located 30min by car from inner city Hamburg and a short 10min walk from the U-Bahn station. We loved our stay here. Probably ok-ish summerhotel but super-expensive off-season compared to quality/comfort. Charge like a fourstar, oddly rates three, should be two. Stayed at Wyndham in Osnabrück and Clarion Grand in Malmö before/after, both hotels half the price, tripple comfort. Cant recommend to any traveller.

I have stayed here many times for the last 20+ years. The hotel is in excellent condition, with constant renovations. The rooms are newly decorated, and the showers have been upgraded again. Always more than I expect. The breakfast and bar staff are wonderful. And the location cannot be beat.

Stadthotel in Eckernförde is a very nice hotel. Very good breakfast and the barkeeper in the bar is very service-oriented. Walking distance to the town's pedestrian street and a few meters to the beach. Parking in the basement under the Hotel. We all from Norway can recommend this hotel.

Parking is a bit tricky in the charming but busy town center. A lovely room, fantastic breakfast, delicious and very affordable dinners, and a beautiful sandy beach nearby. We arrived at 2:30 PM and were explicitly told that we weren't supposed to check in until 3:00 PM, but luckily we were helped and our room was already ready. Our arrival could have been a bit more friendly.

We ate a Lovely dinner at the hotel the night we arrived, I recommend the rump steak. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was hard, which I like, but I didn’t like the pillows, to soft, Next time I will bring my own, but that’s the only thing I found bad. You must check in before 10pm. I arrived late and only got in by sheer luck. With my flight to Hamburg I could not have arrived any earlier. Basic but clean and functional room. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff.

Experience was mostly positive, only negative was we had a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom on arrival, but when we brought this to the attention of the reception staff he was very apologetic and gave us a drinks voucher with the new towels. Bed was comfortable, but the room was a little too warm.

It really was a great weekend at the Hotel Seeblick - the staff really seem like one big family! You can tell in the restaurant that the young employees enjoy wonderful training and our room was lovingly designed for visiting with a dog, with treats, bowls, a blanket and lots of love. The walk to the beach is not far and the food was absolutely great, both breakfast and dinner. We'd love to come back

Everything was fine for the price. However, the hotel was very far away from the city center, but there is a train stop just around the corner if you travel without a car.

Proper hotel, only thing id critisize is the availability of power outlets in the rooms. I think we had 4 on total (2 people room). 3 of those were already taken by a tv and light setup. And all of them were in one corner of the room, barely reachable by only one of the beds. There is a lot of public transportation nearby, but it stops being available at like 20:00 every day.

Not the fanciest place but charming, cozy, and run by a nice family. Nice break from the franchise chain hotels. The restaurant/lounge was relaxing and the best Greek reataurant in the world was around the corner. They had Kegel bowling when I was there and it was a blast. Surprised though at how little Jargermeister German places kept in stock.

We spent a really refreshing weekend with cozy room, excellent breakfast and a great Spa experience. Always worth the trip to SPO to stay at the StrandGut. Restaurant closes early, so make sure to reserve a table and arrive in time, as in the after season you won't find any other restaurant open after 9 p.m. in town.

I have stayed here on 3 different occasions and it remains one of my favorite hotels. The breakfast alone is worth the trip, but the rooms are well appointed and the staff is very friendly. I've stayed in many hotels where they claim to be 5 star but they were lacking in many areas. That's just not the case here and I'm a little surprised at the harsh comments from other people.

My only complaint: the glass wall and door in the room leading to the bathroom. I would have preferred a regular wall and door! There was cake available every afternoon, which I really appreciated!
