Great hotel, nice hotel but really hard to find a parking lot diring high season

Comfort ok. But we could have used a proper good armchair, as one day we chose to stay in the hotel due to heavy rain all day. And it was not good to use the sofa bed as a sofa. And the other thing is missing is to open the coffee machine outside your time.

Beautiful quaint hotel with excellent food and even better massages! We stayed in room 44 and the room was spacious and quiet. The grounds of the hotel are simply beautiful. Dinner was mouthwatering and breakfast although quite simple, very fresh and tasty. Our massage therapist was excellent!

We travelled from the US to this lovely country inn for a family reunion. It was wonderful. The staff was welcoming and helpful and the location so very peaceful and beautiful. There were beautiful grounds and the reunion dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast also had an extension selection, and everything was fresh and tasty. It's a beautiful property for a quiet rest, so long as you stay at the property as there is nothing else in the area within walking distance. Spa services were not as advertised, and had to be booked an hour in advance, and were not the same hours as listed - closing at 6PM instead of 9PM, with massage having to be booked even further in advance.

Nice quiet hotel . A really nice hotel , well away from the bustle of Lubek [so no walking in to town] offering excellent service but quite pricey ! A good place for a relaxing break or stopover [as we were] on your European road trip to or from Denmark. Surrounded by corn fields and gardens . Oh - I nearly forgot , they can’t spell Potato !

Been here many times now. Beautiful hotel with excellent service and the restaurant is serving amazing food and wine. Sitting outside during summer is great. Close enough to easy get to Lübeck city center as well.

Good to come to a family owned and run hotel. Most welcoming on arrival. Room comfortable and clean, beds comfortable too so a good sleep was had. North German at its best. Even some dialect in the Menü! I grew up in hotels and restaurants and can only recommend this place! Also conveniently located! I love going here!

Am every 14 days to stay in Catharine mountain in Molfsee. Not only the food but also the friendly staff make the evening perfect. I would love to come again.

Nice location. Walking distance to pretty much everything. Short drive away from beautiful beaches. The room we stayed at had a balcony which was nice for smokers like my husband and I. Dog friendly. Ok breakfast which is until 11 am. Specially nice if you like sleeping in. There is free tea in the lobby as well.

Business Trip 1 night. This was a great hotel and location (just away from the city centre) . Room was spotless and comfortable - love the balcony and view across the water and the town.The main Boss chap (I think the manager or owner) was very polite and helpful, and his English was better than mine. The Hacienda Rodzio brazilian restaurant for the hotel was 'Excellent' - the rodzio menu is superb...

Weekend stay Nice hotel but very old which is also very charming but it needs to be refurbished. Could be maintained better. Nice with kettle, coffee and tea in the room. The bathroom smelled a little bit of fungus and was old. The beds were hard. Nice view and the room was big.

Due to the wifi problem, nothing worked, we didn't get the keys either to the entrance or to the room, we had to call the emergency number to be let into to building. The wifi internet connection didn't work. The room was quite dirty, especially bathroom. The bed was very uncomfortable. But to be honest the staff was very nice and the breakfast ok.

A nice hotel very close to the city center. I think a renovation is required. Bathrooms and beds can be improved. A significant drawback is the absence of an elevator. In addition, the wifi wasn't working during the last three days of our stay (they blamed the telecommunications company for that though). Finally, I would like to note the absence of a refrigerator inside the room.

The hotel is very simple, but has the basic to spend the night.

Friendly staff, room clean and tidy. Location great. The outdoor pool is opposite. Breakfast was good, doesn't have to be more, there was something for everyone. Unfortunately, the opening hours of the Greeks do not match the Internet. Otherwise we were happy to go back.

Exceptionally nice staff who make everything possible! We were able to stay in the hotel even when there was no space. Beds were carried in the room with covers and bedlinen. The breakfast is awesome and rich. The owner showed us around after the breakfast in the most biodiverse garden I have seen with birds, bees, butterflies, well smelling flowers.

This is a small family owned pension. The rooms are a bit small. There is a lot of stairs and no lift. The breakfast is in a lovely sunroom. The beds are very firm and the bathrooms are a bit small. If you're looking for "creature comforts" this is not for you. The staff/owners are wonderful and will go out of their way for you tho.

Nice little hotel, a few kilometres from the city centre of Lübeck. The rooms are quite basic, but functional and very clean. Super friendly and welcoming owners. Breakfast was OK, nothing fancy (bread rolls, coffee/tea/juice, muesli with milk/yoghurt and a bit of fruit). Overall very good value for money. Recommend.

Great and children friendly place. We spend one night there, two adults and two small children and loved how cozy it is. Breakfast was delicious and children were very happy with their special plates and napkins and cacao. Thank you for short, but lovely stay!

The furniture is old but well repaired and clean. My room was tidy and my bed was comfortable, the whole hotel smelled good. The breakfast was plentyful, fresh and tasty. Coffe was strong. And, the staff is very kind. For me it worth five star.

A nice hotel for a short visit, I toke a room for one ,placed on the 3th floor, there is no elevator , parking place by the hotel for free, location is perfect , close to the train and buss station, 12,5€ for breakfast a drank only coffee which a got for free.

Good value basic accom with breakfast Good basic guest house very near to station and 10-15 mins walk from hostoric centre. You have control of the heating. Reasonable price. Breakfast (€12.50) good (standard north European buffet) but not available till 8.30. En suite rather cramped - not recommend for anyone overweight or with limited mobility. Also there is no lift (and no ground floor rooms).

Well located for the train station. Short walk into Lubeck. Room was quiet. The single room was quite small but more than adequate. Bed was comfortable and the shower facilities were fine. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. The stay as a whole was very good value.

Spontaneously a single room in a Hotel Tum Stüürmann booked. Come regularly in November/December and am always looking forward to the hospitality. The room was equipped with a large bed and a very large shower. In spite of the poorly attended season it was missing to me at nothing. My father liked the room ! It is near the main station by foot, there is a lot to do around it. Not much noises and confortable.

Great location to the ferris. Big room, with plenty of space. Balcony. Parkering garage. Breakfast was ok. Short walk to city center. Negative is that we had a room out to the railway and bridge, alot of noise. And since there where no fan or aircondition, the only way to get air was to open window or door towards the bridge and railway. Luckily it was not to hot that night.

The receptionist was very welcoming and sweet although we were late to check-in. The room was spacious, but we had a few roomies - spiders. But there were train tracks right outside our window. It did not bother very much during the night, but the evening was pretty loud.

Good room and breakfast, pore parkering. The room had two beds that made a kings size bed. There were also two extra beds perfect for children. The hotel is close to the railroad station that may affect your sleep. We needed to park on the street, it is free from 22.00 to 10.00.

We stayed in the Helgolander Klassik apartment for 3 days. Everything was beautifully renovated. The artists there were very busy. The breakfast at the Helgolander was very good and sufficient. I missed the contact person at the reception at the hotel. Cleanliness is very important here. So all is well. Love the service, ambience,the taste and variety of the breakfast. For us it is just the mattress that would need to be renewed,but that is nothing unusual for hotels or holiday places in general! We still love it there!

First lets start with the prepration, we arrives before 12 and had to wait till 15:00 till we get the room. Lots of others did check in before us actually. Our room was very small. Small bed on the entrance with a very deep stairs go to the attic bed which was double bed. But the space was very tiny. Imagine with kids going stairs up and down was not so easy. Bathroom was also tiny withour any ventilation...

Spent 5 days at this hotel, very clean and with friendly staff, though just available half of the day so you will need to self check-in if you reach the hotel late in the day. Process was relatively easy though, but you need to understand German or come with someone who speaks German. Excellent value for the price. This is exactly what it should be. Good price, good service, good breakfast (very good tea, bread and scrambled eggs). Comfortable room and good location. On the ground floor you have fridge with cold drinks and snack bar. Near hotel you have at least two nice restaurants and it's near the airport (from 6 until 23 you are on the approach - departure path to active runway ;-) )

The hotel is really great, the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was there during the Biała fire festival, and the restaurant served kale. It was perfect! I had a single room, which was very clean and nicely furnished. I had absolutely nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, there wasn't much going on on the island because it was off-season.

Hotel Anka is located in Norddorf in the north of Amrum, just outside the more touristy south of the island. I spent three nights here. The staff was really helpful and friendly. We visited Amrum without a car! We took the bus from the Wittdün ferry terminal to the Norddorf - Sturmmöwe stop! From there, we could easily walk to the hotel. Perfect! We stayed in a very small double room in the neighboring building because there were problems with the booking (not on our end). Breakfast was okay; the scrambled and fried eggs were always freshly prepared for us.

We have been coming to Amrum again and again for almost 50 years and until a few years ago the Hotel Anka was our only, much-loved accommodation. Went there for my school reunion, and we had a blast. Food was very good. Had the Italian roasted veg with halloumi. Service great and not overly on you as we wanted to catch up.
