Perfect location, the rooms are clean but outdated. For 120 euros a night for a small room, you might expect your shower not to be calcified, enough wall outlets for your devices (and one next to your bed), and an alarm clock that can be turned off.

The hotel is located about 100 meters behind the dike and within walking distance of the harbor and the town center. The only drawback is the parking situation. We spent three nights in this modest seafront hotel over Christmas. Rooms are small but functional, the best part being the shower. Heating is turned off during the night which is OK if outside temperature is not too low. Breakfast is basic but in line with the rest. On the positive side is a Nespresso machine producing good espresso as an anti-depressant when the rain is too dense.

We loved the very friendly and welcoming nature of the hosts, the super clean rooms, and the extensive and delicious breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. We had a good stay at the hotel, very happy with the place. The only real downside we experienced was the automatic check in - didn't work when we arrived. All we had to do was go to the hotel reception 50m and then we got checked in. The location itself isn't amazing, but it's walking distance from the Altstadt and parking in the garage was easy - and included charging for our EV.

Check in is supposed to be at a computer, but the supplier of this service is facing technical issues. Therefore, we were pleased that the very friendly staff at the Vier Jahreszeiten hotel was able to assist, also with replacing a broken shower. Despite these minor issues, a very comfortable stay to a reasonable price.

The hotel was clean and the room, just what I needed. It was confusing checking in with the kiosk, especially since I prepaid through *******. There is a sign that directs people to check in at the hotel next door and the front desk staff were nice and professional.
