Good setup but for the first day of my stay, the floor in the room hasn't been cleaned.prior to my check'in.

Very close to the old town. Hotel is very dated and the room has a musky smell. Not worth the price paid .

As we did some visits it was strategic in the right place. Other then that - fire alarm during the night, not working safe in the room - there are better hotels in Lübeck.

Old hotel and rooms need a renovation and better soundproofing. Location is excellent and paid parking available on premises.

Great location for visiting the tourist attractions. Very close to train station. Friendly staff, comfortable room, very quiet at night, nice bed linen and comfortable bed. Very clean and good value. Would certainly stay here again.

Great location for exploring the city and xmas markets

The hotel is perfectly situated in the aldstat area. Close to museums, churches and restaurants. St. Petri church is next door - take the lift to the observation deck to see a beautiful 360 degree view.

We liked the hotel so much we extended our stay. The staff were amazing. We felt valued as guests and would happily return to the hotel. The room was well appointed. Comfy bed, air conditioning and mini bar.

We paid extra to have a purported suite with city view that turned out to be facing another apartment building with no view. The room description was very misleading.

Best hotel we stayed at in Northern Germany. Absolutely the best of all 10 hotels we stayed at during this summer vacation. Nice staff everywhere. Easy parking in tha garage next to the hotel. 50 meters from the town centre. No noise, nice beds and fabulous breakfast

The room was very nice, with a view of the sea. I really enjoyed the wellness on the first day. I went to the restaurant and ate schnitzel, which was also very good.

Great location, unfortunately a hotel in need of renovation with too many flaws: -Rooms: carelessly and haphazardly furnished. Artificial flowers, low-quality materials, fittings partly calcified, partly tarnished. -Spa: Saunas with a great view, but unfortunately completely without charm, not enough loungers, water is served in containers that are far too small and are always empty. One star deducted for the lack of WiFi in our room, and the hotel can't be held responsible for the stolen flip-flops in the hotel sauna. Still, it's a shame that something like that spoiled our stay a little. Otherwise, everything was very nice.

We spent our holiday in Scharbeutz with 4 generations and everyone felt completely at home at Bayside. Unbeatable location, the rooftop bar was amazing, the breakfast was a culinary highlight with a view of the Baltic Sea and the staff was extremely friendly. The Room was far toooo small, a matchbox! The bar service was excellent, 5 stars, but no restaurant.

We had a mixed stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the room was very small with very little ventilation. We had one small window, but it openend onto the street, so the choice was a hot stuffy room or a warm noisy room. Not a great choice in the warm summer months.

Room was renovated. Very clean and beds were comfy. Room was very spacious, which is a rarity these days. Staff were very helpful and nice. We only stayed a night as we were just passing through but definitely recommend.

Due to the wifi problem, nothing worked, we didn't get the keys either to the entrance or to the room, we had to call the emergency number to be let into to building. The wifi internet connection didn't work. The room was quite dirty, especially bathroom. The bed was very uncomfortable. But to be honest the staff was very nice and the breakfast ok.

A nice hotel very close to the city center. I think a renovation is required. Bathrooms and beds can be improved. A significant drawback is the absence of an elevator. In addition, the wifi wasn't working during the last three days of our stay (they blamed the telecommunications company for that though). Finally, I would like to note the absence of a refrigerator inside the room.

The hotel is very simple, but has the basic to spend the night.

This is a great hotel. The decor is very nice with well done details. Breakfast is great and I will be missing it when I go home. The library is very nice and a great place to relax and have a burbon or three. The view was very nice from the room. Heated floors in the restrooms.

You can park underground at the hotel, there is also a hallway that connects the hotel (from the spa area) to the neighbouring Meetzeit sauna and you get in for free with your hotel key card.

Generally a good experience, but we found the bathroom not cleaned properly. The waist bin was not empty, full of waist. Soap dispenser area was not cleaned, the impression in this room was not satisfied. The main room was nice, with good views. The balcony floor was not clean, Based on the room price we found it not as good as expected

Do not fall for an automatic upgrade!!! Check the room before you upgrade! Unless you are willing to walk around bend over, this Suite is not for you. The in room sauna was useless. Although the hotel was beautiful and very interesting, our suite had absolutely no space for our suitcases. We were on a three week Europe trip!

We booked the presidential suite. It was a very clean, nice and big appartement. Space enough! Big terrace. The building looks very old fashion from the outside but the suite wasn't old fashion at all. You still recieve a real key to open the door!. Parking in front of the hotel is free. Breakfast was ok! The swimmingpool and sauna are very nice and good refreshment after long time driving.

Travemunde is a beautiful place. Hotel expensive for the size of the room and expensive parking. Good breakfast but expensive.

The location of the hotel is great, beach, port, everything is close, rooms are clean. Only the toilet in the room could not be installed. Parking fee for HOCH TAG 15,00 euros. Friendly staff, especially Mrs. Christine Busse at the reception, very helpful.

We choose this hotel because of it's spa services and that it was directly on the beach. The reception area is light and modern. The staff are friendly but speak mainly German but do their best to speak English. The rooms are big enough and are clean and light. The beds are very comfortable. The spa facilities are very good and very welcoming after a long and cold walk on the beach.

4 star ? Should be reevaluated . No dinner after 20:00 hrs , no room service, 250 euro per night without the possibility to open a window. Not even a 2star

The photos of the hotel and rooms on the hotel web site are very good. The service was not attentive, the were occupied with themselves more then with the guests. Breakfast mediocre. Rooms quite used up, small and not well furnished or thought through... Eg. The doors to the restrooms are just a glass door, the does not dampens anything... If you are OK with it... The service rather unfriendly..

We had a wonderful time at SAND in Timmendorfer Strand. It is a stylish and cozy hotel very close to the beach. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the food and drinks super delicious and the rooms nice and clean. We will definitely return to this place!

The property is just a short 5-10 min walk from the main tourist areas which offers such a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by lots green and open space. Simply a most wonderful grand hotel - rare jewel among ever more standardised 5 star hotels.

Very practical location and parking facilities. The reception/lounge area very simple but OK. Rooms exactly as described, but the glass shielding of the the toilet/bathroom facilities are not “private” enough. Restaurant personal seems not educated and the wine/drink menu was only partly available. The chicken was not properly prepared. Breakfast was super.

Stayed at Vitalia Seehotel for 3 nights with work. Location is nothing less than fantastic. Right on the bed of the lake... It gives a fantastic experience. Rooms are very nice and comfortable and there are a lot of great facilities. Breakfast is rather good but dinner the dinner buffet could be improved some. All in all it is highly recommended!

Really nice hotel in superb location overlooking the lake. Pool was very nice with more amazing lake views, although saunas are out of service for renovation. Room was large and clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best we have had. Staff were excellent too. We were very pleased we booked into this hotel

A simple hotel next to the station. Tiny gym but they do have a small sauna. Ok breakfast but was very busy. It’s a 20 minute walk to the old town. No on-site parking but cheap parking behind the hotel. Friendly front desk. Small bed, large bathroom in my room.

Well pointed room, clean, spacious with high ceiling and sound proof windows. Comfortable bed and good breakfast. I’ll definitely stay here again next time in lubeck.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The standard rooms are fine and very clean. The lobby bar was cozy with a nice fireplace, quite areas with nice furniture and fair bar prices. The breakfast was excellent, and the half board dinner was delicious and fair priced. The wellness area was just perfect, small but with a good variety of saunas.

The staff is very friendly albeit sometimes a bit confused and not everyone speaks English. The facilities is however very nice with big rooms, cozy spa and a very nice lobby. We stayed over New Year’s Eve and was very happy during the stay. The spot gets one star less just because I half of the hotel has a view of the parking spot. Not the worse but it’s good to know when you are booking.

We really enjoyed the cosy lounge with bar - the span area is very well kept and super clean. We stayed during winter, but the out door pool looked so amazing. Beautiful with views to the pine forest. we will definitely come back

the check-in took ages. only one guy is working the reception was very slow and he even pulled another guest first despite we were waiting longer. they have no real decency you would expect from a 5-star hotel. if more people are needed to check-in, even the local supermarket can easily open another checkout. expect no help with your luggage whatsoever. they claim to be a 5-star hotel which is weird...

We stayed in house no. 7 for a week. It was lovely; we lacked nothing. The apartment was very tastefully furnished, and our dog was allowed to come along. We'll be back.

A very nice and lovingly furnished holiday apartment. Almost everything you need is provided. The rental agency is friendly. The price-performance ratio is excellent. I can highly recommend this holiday apartment.

Modern, casual and comfortable A very stylish, comfortable and modern facility. Friendly and direct service. However, the lack of air conditioning in the rooms may be bothersome on hot days.

Everything was very clean and tidy. The balcony was a bit lacking, for example, for drying laundry and, of course, for sitting. Otherwise, everything you need was there.

The bizarre use of Denglish as a language grates a bit... trying too hard to be cool. But that's the only niggle, everything else was fine. The rooms could do with more and better lighting, especially for those of us who have to work on holiday. Loved the free early bird coffee on the roof terrace each morning!

The apartment is on the 6th floor with a view of the south beach. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, and the bathroom and living/sleeping area are functionally furnished. The apartment is clean and well-maintained.

Great Experience I liked the place. They take their business really serious. A bit old fashioned and that makes the charm of this hotel. When I arrived on a late Sunday afternoon, the manager on duty insisted to personally show me around and to explain all the features of the hotel to me. I stayed for three days and had a great time. The restaurant is a bit pricey but offers excellent food.

Lovely 3-night stay in this great hotel located in an old building with character by the beach. Personnel are supper attentive and pay great attention to detail. Facilities include gym, swimming pool and a spa area with saunas. Great breakfast experience with varied buffet and a la carte options.
