Nice, cosy and clean. Loved it. Bed was perfect. A but hard at first. But i "melted" into it. Best sleep I had in ages and I got it for a cheap 37€. The shower door was a bit worn thou. The local town is a typical sleepy, laid back German beach town. To bad I was just passing though. Hopefully I can come back soon.

We will definitely stay here again! We had an upgraded room, I think it was the comfort room, and it was great! Nice big and clean room with balcony. We were greater with a little bottle of champagne, which was a nice touch! And the breakfast… it was super delicious!!! Such a huge spread of items on the breakfast buffet! Very good!

The apartment was big and clean and had everything you need to be comfortable. Apart, of course, from groceries. The beds were very comfortable as well. It is very close to the sea and in a lovely little area.

The rooms are great, and the service is unobtrusive. The location is debatable; in the off-season, the fields weren't worth a photo, at least not for me. There's a small Edeka supermarket and a standard Aldi (?) a 5-minute drive away. If you need more, Burg is also relatively quick to get to. The main reason for my review is the abysmal experience I've had with other vacation apartments in the area...

Everything was exactly as expected! 😁 The cabin room was upgraded to an apartment with a kitchen, living room, and a huge balcony. We had a pleasant stay at the Avalon Hotel Bellevue. The room was fine, although rather basic and nothing special. Very nice hotel with several houses. Rooms are nice and spacious. There is a wide selection at breakfast so everyone can find something to eat. Anyone who complains should watch their breakfast at home. We'd love to come back again.

Excellent breakfast. The hotel is very quietly located within walking distance of the coast and the village. It is a large domain; Since we were there outside the high season, there were no big crowds. Upon arrival, the person at the reception seemed to only speak German, so we received very little explanation.

Well. It is a great place close to the Boat ferry over to Denmark. Good restaurants nearby. Breakfast fine. It was built 2018. So it is very new and fresh. A bit different as there is 7 two storeys houses with or without balconies. A good place.

A top location at the top end of Friedrichstrasse. There are shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. The location is quiet and in 3 minutes you are right on the beach in Westerland. We stopped at the café for lunch today after a sunny winter walk. We received a warm welcome. The location is absolutely fantastic. Our lunch was superb – attractively presented and plentiful. NR 35 Disaster in Small! One week in Grömitz. Apartment booked over the Internet. Hotel is good. Friendly and nice. Vacation homes are brokered. We were / are in apartment number 35! Small disaster. Minimal lighting, old carpet, loose faucet, etc ..... On request in the hotel then additional light sources (floor lamp) by the caretaker .... Welcome to the 1980s ... But only in apartment 35! A super nice place, since 2019 after our first vacation here we feel very comfortable again and again. Swim in the pool in the morning, take a sauna in the house and even jump into the Baltic Sea in autumn. Super good kitchen and very friendly staff. Eating with a view of the Baltic Sea, what more could you want (Meer🏊). We are always looking forward to our vacation here in Grömitz at the Hotel Strandidyll

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a family room, which had a separate room with a set of bunkbeds, plus a main room with a large bed and a fold out sofa bed. Lots of space and very clean. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and wandering along the walkway down the coast to Eckernforde. Everyone enjoyed the hotel's breakfast - lots of options with great coffee and outdoor seating.

This was a cute house, rooms are upstairs. Located near Aldi grocery store which was convenient. Plus was also free parking and quick check in. Downside: room needs a deep clean. No mattress protectors. Only 1 pillow per bed - Needs 2 pillows per person. No Shampoo/shower gel - Bring your own. Also placed the card on door for Do not disturb - guy walked right in at 9am. Unacceptable for guests...

The place is right across to the S Bahn, bus and some other stations. Practical but very noisy. You choose your own preference :) The building is a bit old and smelly. But the hotel room itself was clean.

Noisy and worn-down Noisy, very close to the railway and busy road. With no air-condition the windows needed to be open which made it difficult to sleep well. The indian restaurant in the same building was great!

The hotel had to file for bankruptcy. It definitely needs renovation. But whether it will still be an option for those on lower incomes... I'm afraid not. I appreciate the friendliness of the staff.

Location was good, very close to the beach , service personal at breakfast was very nice but the standards did not meet a 4*hotel. Spa and wellness area didn’t even offer water or tea. Breakfast was ok but expected much more. Room was big but very old and next door is a big construction area which is pretty loud and woke us up every morning.

Exceptionally nice staff who make everything possible! We were able to stay in the hotel even when there was no space. Beds were carried in the room with covers and bedlinen. The breakfast is awesome and rich. The owner showed us around after the breakfast in the most biodiverse garden I have seen with birds, bees, butterflies, well smelling flowers.

This is a small family owned pension. The rooms are a bit small. There is a lot of stairs and no lift. The breakfast is in a lovely sunroom. The beds are very firm and the bathrooms are a bit small. Steg 1 review: food was OK but nothing special. Be aware that you can only pay with EC (German debit card) or cash. No credit cards accepted. As a foreign tourist this is challenging. For a restaurant being part of a hotel I would have expected credit cards are accepted.

Nice restaurant location, food and service. But at first they said I couldn’t pay with credit card (even though it wasn’t a small amount). Then it was possible after all, but I had to pay a 4€ fee for it. This is unacceptable, eine Unverschämtheit

A nice hotel for a short visit, I toke a room for one ,placed on the 3th floor, there is no elevator , parking place by the hotel for free, location is perfect , close to the train and buss station, 12,5€ for breakfast a drank only coffee which a got for free.

Although the hotel is in a renovation phase, everything is still very nice and cozy. Small bed on the entrance with a very deep stairs go to the attic bed which was double bed. But the space was very tiny. Imagine with kids going stairs up and down was not so easy.
