Sun Palace Hotel - All inclusive in Faliraki

Hard to write a review really.... after flying from England to getting there, only to be told they was fully booked! Absolutely disgusting

We arrived at this hotel around 12.00 on the night, after arriving we waited around half hour to be checked in,when the receptionist came she said she was fully booked and we could not stay there even though we paid around 160£ for 4 nights. She then explained there is another hotel we must go to. So after travelling over 6-7 hours to get here ,we were told the hotel we had booked was full and that we were getting transferred to another hotel. We were not impressed as we paid extra for a bigger room and a pool view .The receptionist then dropped us of to another hotel and we were told we have to stay here instead. After getting to this hotel we realised this is nothing like we booked and we were not happy with were we ended up but had no choice to stay at the hotel as it was very late on the night.So after stopping a night here without even air conditioning and with a broken shower ,ants. a few flys,one pillow we are now ready to pack uo and go home after just one day of being on this island. Rose hotel are terrible there was no communication at all, also if i booked to stay there i should be allowed to stay there . Very dissapointed would not recommend no one to stay here .

We arrived here at 12.00 on the night , we payed for a swimming pool view , bigger room . We was told to wait when we arrived by an older lady a car pulled up and a women explained they are over booked and don’t have the room to accommodate us & that they have moved our booking to another hotel without giving us any notice . The women gave us a lift with her partner to the hotel which she had no clue about , reception was shut and we couldn’t get in contact with this hotel as it was pitch black and opening hours was closed . No one booked us in we was taken straight to a room , flys and ants everywhere , no air con could be sorted till the next day as reception was closed . The shower was broken , 5 chairs just round the room . Absolutely disgusting customer service . I traveled from the Uk and am so disappointed by this hotel .

You have to pay €9.00 extra per night for aircon, they called a taxi for us which never came, we almost missed our boat trip. When we went to pay for aircon they said no as there was one day left.

They did have a stove and a fridge which was useful and the pool was decent too.

The shower does flood and the toilet broke. All in all it is ok as it was budget friendly. Some staff were friendly.

We arrived at the hotel late at night and there was only one older lady working at the reception, she was smiling kindly, but didn't speak english at all and check in was very very slow. Later there were other workers from the family who speak better english. There where lots of different insects and bugs at the reseption at night so we where scared that same seeing would be in the room. Thankfully we only saw one bug in the room in the whole week we spent there. Aircondition started to work quite slow and was not very effective and kept big noise. You have to take keys off when leaving the room so also aircondition stops working and it takes a while cool again when you come back in the room. Beds are very hard. Shower was small and spread the water around, sometimes only cold water. There is only small soap bar in the toilet. Pool area was nice and there was always room to choose sunbeds. Water nice and cool. You cant pay anything with card so you take cash with you. Nearest small supermarket is few hundret meaters away and they accepted card. We only took breakfest first morning and little bites to eat before leaving at the airport. Food tasted good, but many things was finished for examble ketsup and tzatziki and pitas was not available. Faliraki town is over 1km away. To the beach was about two kilometers. We rented a car so it was easier to get around. You can also rent vehicles trouhgh hotel reseption. Overall if you dont pay much and don't have high standarts this hotel is value for money.
