Second time staying at this hotel & the entertainment/ animation team work there backsides off & make your holiday amazing! Some rooms have been renovated and are lovely but others haven't so there basic, food is different theme each night, always something to eat even for picky eaters, snack bar at main hotel is pretty much open all day, waterpark is fab also has a snackbar included with your all inclusive wich is better then the one in hotel, more variety, never any ques for the slides etc only a 5min walk into faliraki center & the beach, sofias over the road is brill for booking daytrips etc also

We had an excellent stay at Sun Palace. The service was outstanding, and the staff were truly amazing – always helpful, friendly, and attentive. The water park was a real highlight for the kids, with so many options and activities, and the water park team took great care to ensure safety at all times, which allowed us to relax with peace of mind.

The entire hotel was spotless and well-organized, the food was very good, and every staff member we met provided excellent service. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

We have just arrived home after a week at Sun Palace and even though we had a great holiday it could have been better if the hotel was as advertised and priced. We arrived to a worn reception building more of a 2-3 star maximum. Same at the room. All worn and tired, key card barely working, leaky shower, hard uncomfortable beds. Food was very poor. We had had breakfast once, over crowded and low standard. Snack bar was as expected. Dinner - terrible. Had one evening in the buffet, one at the Mexican and one at the Greek. All very low standard. Drinks - once again we drink out of plastic throw away cups or paper once for tea and coffee. Entertainment was the same trend. Had some great staff but you could see that they had no budget at all. If a 4* is your minimum standard, do not get persuaded by the photos. This is at best a 3 star. If you wear a track suit and gold chain you’ll blend right in.

Stayed here for 14 nights. It definitely isn't a 4 star hotel, I would say a 3 star. The hotel could do with a lot of maintenance.
We went for breakfast once but didn't go back as it was awful and cold. Dinner was a bit better.
The sun loungers are are terrible and so uncomfortable, they could do with cushions. The snack bars were good and we used every day we was in hotel.
The rooms were decent size, beds were too hard for me, there was no plug in the bath or sink so had to use a lid of a jar. There was a kettle but no coffee or tea in the room so had to go down to lobby for morning coffee from the machine which is awful so we brought our own coffee to make in the room.Our bed sheets were never changed the whole two weeks we was there.
The hotel is in a great location and is just a 5 min walk from beach, shops and restaurants and bus stops are just outside hotel.
I don't think I would stay here again or recommend to family and friends.

There are a lot of negative reviews about this hotel, which I think is a little unfair. We have just returned from two weeks there, and have had a truly wonderful holiday. Our hotel room was clean and comfortable, and yes the cleaners did start work every day at 8am, but were very happy to be asked to return later if you were still in your room, but the towels and sheets were regularly replaced, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The same could be said of the other staff on the resort, they were all so friendly and helpful. The downsides for us was definitely the food, I don't think we enjoyed a hot meal throughout our two week stay, and it was all very samey. We did take advantage of the "Greek" restaurant experience one night, but that was basically a subset of the same food served in the main canteen, and still not very warm, we chose not to partake of the Mexican experience. Poolside, the beds were great and the parasols capable of dealing with the worst of the winds. HOWEVER, I am later in life than some, and so the earsplittingly awful music that was permanently pumped out across the poolside made visiting the pool an uncomfortable experience. I am sure younger folk would have found it wonderful. Fortunately we hired a car, and spent most of our days away from the hotel enjoying some of the other experiences that Rhodes has to offer.

We arrived at this hotel around 12.00 on the night, after arriving we waited around half hour to be checked in,when the receptionist came she said she was fully booked and we could not stay there even though we paid around 160£ for 4 nights. She then explained there is another hotel we must go to. So after travelling over 6-7 hours to get here ,we were told the hotel we had booked was full and that we were getting transferred to another hotel. We were not impressed as we paid extra for a bigger room and a pool view .The receptionist then dropped us of to another hotel and we were told we have to stay here instead. After getting to this hotel we realised this is nothing like we booked and we were not happy with were we ended up but had no choice to stay at the hotel as it was very late on the night.So after stopping a night here without even air conditioning and with a broken shower ,ants. a few flys,one pillow we are now ready to pack uo and go home after just one day of being on this island. Rose hotel are terrible there was no communication at all, also if i booked to stay there i should be allowed to stay there . Very dissapointed would not recommend no one to stay here .

We arrived here at 12.00 on the night , we payed for a swimming pool view , bigger room . We was told to wait when we arrived by an older lady a car pulled up and a women explained they are over booked and don’t have the room to accommodate us & that they have moved our booking to another hotel without giving us any notice . The women gave us a lift with her partner to the hotel which she had no clue about , reception was shut and we couldn’t get in contact with this hotel as it was pitch black and opening hours was closed . No one booked us in we was taken straight to a room , flys and ants everywhere , no air con could be sorted till the next day as reception was closed . The shower was broken , 5 chairs just round the room . Absolutely disgusting customer service . I traveled from the Uk and am so disappointed by this hotel .

Just had a lovely week here with 3 friends. Great hosts Mike & Maria and their team. very clean hotel, daily maid service except for Sunday's. Lovely pool area and food was good. It was further than I thought from the centre but that was the description on Love Holidays. I would highly recommend this for the price we paid for a week it was well worth it.

We had a great time at Rose Hotel Faliraki. The owners are very friendly and they were very accomodating with all our requests during our stay and we are very thankful for that! The Hotel premises are very nice and family friendly especially the swimming pool area and the lobby. My 5 year old daughter had a blast at the swimming pool:) The food was also very tasty! Finally, the hotel is located walking distance to Faliraki Beach and to the bus station which connects you to the different destinations in Rhodes (Old Town, Lindos and all other beaches and even to the Airport).
