The hotel is clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and they can't do enough for you. The Restaurant manager Anita makes time to talk to you and makes you feel welcome. Rooms: Very clean when we arrived. Suitable and serviceable air conditioning. Beds were comfortable, pillows were a bit too short and thick. Balcony a bit on the small side, and did not have a garden /pool view, we were forced to stare at the staff's accommodation. Hotel needs updating. No disabled access. Breakfast was ok. The beach was just across a very busy road, very pebbly and not very clean. On the plus side the location was great. Lots of really good restaurants within walking distance and 10 mins from Rhodes town

Would definitely recommend this hotel. Good value for money. Room was clean and the pool area was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helped us when needed. You have to pay a small price for air conditioning in your room but it works amazingly and if you need a hair dryer or iron they have them at reception if required. Simple rooms but it's exactly what you pay for. The staff is very nice from house keeping to servers. My wife asked if there was gluten free bread available and the lady working breakfast said no but asked how long we were staying. The next day the lady came with a package of gluten free bread. That made my wife's day. If we ever come back to Rhodes we will be staying again.

The location - right on the beach is great but you know that before you go. I liked it because it was so relaxed….refreshing not to have to hand over passports and fill in forms when you’re tired after a long journey. The welcome (very late evening) was perfunctory rather than warm with very little information given. We also had a noisy a/c unit. Filmar has the most helpful, friendly, caring staff. My husband became unwell during our holiday which means we had to look for a place for him to rest when he got discharged from the hospital. We stayed at Matoula Beach for a week in early October. Initially we were allocated a very small room. When we mentioned this to reception, we were transferred to a lovely spacious pool view room. We really enjoyed our stay in late April. The pool isn't heated, but our kids enjoyed it nonetheless. Plenty of sun beds too, and with its courtyard filled with Orange trees it's a really cozy location. I have been traveling for over 20 years, the owners of Helena Christina apartments are some of the most friendly, sociable, nice people I have ever met, a place 100% worth recommending.

A quiet but secluded base from which you can explore the area (20 min to Rhodos-city), fully run by the family who are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nice little hotel with good clean pool and enough sunbeds. Location is good although you have to walk 15-20 minutes to the center of Ialyssos. Rooms are good, and can easily hold the amount of people they're meant for. Though the rooms aren't anything special, they do come with a mini fridge, air conditioning and a good terrace. This is the absolute definition of Greek hospitality. Excellent services, delicious food, artisan cocktails by the pool and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped. This hotel is adults only and its ideal for a high-quality and peaceful vacation. Its ideally located between the airport and the city of Rhodes.

Incredible room w a hot-tub (sea view). Staff were very polite and friendly, especially the receptionist! Pool area was GORGEOUS. Reception were also great help with any issues. Not a child friendly resort - aimed at young couples and friends. Wouldn’t recommend Prestige Travel transfers into old town, go with the local buses as they are a lot cheaper and more reliable. My husband and I visited for a few days our first holiday without the kids. We upgraded to plunge pool which was lovely. Very clean and spacious. The pool was cold great for morning dip to wake you up. It’s not very private from neighbour but that wasn’t an issue for us. Gorgeous hotel, stayed in the suites and the rooms were spacious, clean and luxurious. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food and drink in the hotel was decision and plenty of sunbeds. Easy walking distance to Illaysos for more restaurant options and the hotel organises easy taxi’s to the old town. Our stay was absolutely wonderful—truly one of the best hotels we’ve ever visited. The service was exceptional from start to finish.
