Where to stay with pets in Ixia

The location offers proximity to the city centre w/o all the noise of one, and a plethora of amazing restaurants in walkable distance (it is quite a walk to the city centre though so a car/cab/etc is preferable in that case)

There are also small shops in the hotel which is very convenient and their staff is really kind as well. We barely got to see half of what the hotel has to offer, but everything we did was impeccable

Location 100 yards from beach with an underpass so you didn't need to dodge traffic on the main road. This was also clean and well maintained

The pool area is huge, perfect for chilling after the beach, and the hotel’s private beach strip made it super easy to go for a swim without fighting crowds

Breakfast had loads of options, from fruit and yogurt to proper fried eggs, fuel for a full day of exploring. Location’s solid too, a short ride into Rhodes town so you get both quiet vibes and nightlife when you want it

There is no variety in the food, the food does not change and every day it is the same. The pool is small and not adapted to the number of vacationers

We came back to Akti Imperial for our parents’ 40th anniversary and the hotel helped make it unforgettable. They upgraded us to a family suite with a sea terrace so we could enjoy sunrises together

The food was a real highlight, featuring a wide variety that catered to everyone's tastes; the delicious pizza and gyros at the pool restaurants were a definite plus

The chef Aris prepared a surprise Greek mezze plate for our family dinner. Kids loved the miniclub and the pool games kept everyone smiling. Staff felt like old friends by day three

The team's hard work was evident in the fantastic evening shows, and we also enjoyed the well-organized daily activities like Pilates, yoga, and pool aerobics

We had a truly memorable holiday, and this hotel offered excellent value for the price. We were consistently pleased with the facilities

Reception arranged a late taxi and a baby cot without fuss. Left feeling relaxed and grateful

The location is brilliant, next to the coastline and such warm weather. The staff are absolutely amazing throughout the whole resort, and the spa is excellent, so soothing and calming, do recommend it here

I love this hotel, This was my favourite holiday yet that i’ve ever been on! The rooms are absolutely amazing

The food selection is my favourite bit about this hotel, it tastes so good!! It has so much different varieties of food, and i love how it’s all connected in one building with a rooftop pool and bar, and right next to the private beach

Pools and pool bars and all pool staff👌🏻👌🏻 What they don’t tell you when you’re booking the holiday is if you’re not staying for more than seven days you can’t book any of the other restaurants so its buffet only

to be fair we found the buffet very good with a wide variety of choice (we only had one afternoon where we weren’t 100% satisfied) We stayed All inclusive option mainly because we took our little boy

The hotel is lovely with excellent staff. Breakfast was really good with so much choice. Great Margaritas at the pool bar and the main bar. Good food in the restaurants

The pool was freezing and unless you get a certain sunbed which is in the sun all day you end up having to move beds so you get sun. The sunbeds are quite packed in so you can't really move them around

From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay was outstanding. The staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely committed to making sure everything was just right

It's not in an area where there are lots of restaurants around. Those you can walk to were a Chinese, Indian and Korean BBQ. A few others in the other direction

This is a really beautiful, spotlessly clean hotel with a wonderful pool. Our room was upgraded and was huge, with lovely views of the pool and the sea

All Inclusive hotel with very nice pool area, close to everywhere, the beach, the airport and Rhodes town. Close to the hotel is a lot of gift shops and a good, cheap car rental (Sky Rent a Car)

Some rooms are a bit outdated. The buffet restaurant (Dionyssos) has very good rotating menu

If the pool feels too loud or crowded, you can simply step onto the beach, which is conveniently located next to it. The food overall was a highlight

While the location was great, the room itself was dated. The mattress was in need of replacement, and the shower could use a thorough deep clean. Additionally, we encountered some pesky mosquitoes

The variety was impressive, with fresh and tasty options that catered to all tastes

We especially enjoyed the Greek yoghurt dips and the dessert section, which included delicious ice cream; we indulged in them every day! We stayed in room 105, situated in the first block

We stayed here in August 2018 and it was amazing,the apartments were spacious the location is excellent,right on the beach, Rhodes Town is a short car ride away, the on site car hire was very useful

Booked this as a last minute get away from Bournemouth in October, went self-catering. Time from airport in a private transfer about 10 minutes

Hotel is made up of a couple of blocks, we were in the main hotel block in room 516, suite with a sea view, free upgrade from the hotel which was great

The suite was large and roomy, separate large bedroom with own tv and safe (free to use), large double balcony with stunning views, large living room with own kitchen facility with fridge, etc

Own TV and two sofas/beds and comfy arm chair. Bathroom had a bath and shower built in and no issues with water pressure, wife says hair dryer was useless but never used it myself

There are only two small lifts to the floors in the main building and I could imagine in peak season this being a real problem, but no issue when we were there. Cleaners came every day and did their jobs well, no issues

Drinks: the “all-inclusive” spirits, wine and beer are locally produced, and the cocktails were pre-mixed rather than freshly made, which was a bit of a let-down

We were met at the airport then shortly after arrived at the hotel and were greeted by a lovely receptionist with brown hair I did not get her name but she was super helpful throughout our stay

It’s officially rated four stars, and we chose the all-inclusive option this time for a completely hassle-free break — we usually go half-board or self-catering

First Impressions & Location The hotel is in a good spot — right by the coast and just off the main high street, so shops, restaurants, and bus stops are all within easy walking distance

Staff & Service Reception staff could be a little frosty at times, but to be fair, they were helpful whenever we needed something. Everyone else around the hotel was lovely — cheerful, chatty, and always ready to help

By lunchtime, one side was in shade, but we never had trouble finding a sunbed (though I can imagine it’s tighter in high season). You can pick up pool and beach towels free of charge and swap them every three days

Mariana and Jordan always helped me when I needed, they were always helpful and very kind! The Italian restaurant at the hotel is really good and there is a woman there named Zane who helped us every day and was very nice

This is our second time back to this hotel ,staff and food was amazing , the manager jhon marc was great such a amazimg and lovely guy ,very helpfull ,thankyou very much electra we will be back

Had the best 10 days at Electra Palace. Food choices great, the desserts are AMAZING! Rooms are clean, have all that you need, only thing that we struggled with was connecting our phone to TV so we could streem

The hotel was fabulous clean tidy well looked after, all the staff very helpful room was cleaned everyday towels including beach towel where changed every day , the food was average but you won’t starve, loads to eat and drink, more sun beds than you could wave a stick at , entertainment was ok 2 decent acts out of 7 the only down side was everything stopped at 11pm bars stayed open till 1am but nothing...

My last point is a great sustainability of this resort ! They reduce single use plastic which is great! All guests are given very good quality water bottles that you could refill anywhere on the resort! The place was spotlessly cleaned

Hotel as it self is in good location. Every single night different meals. For teens, not a lot to do in a hotel. No space for football games, had to play by the food shack when it's closed

The beach area is for resort guests so the sunbeds are free. The main pool area is beautiful especially at night with the different lights. The location of the resort is the main attraction

Brilliant holiday for the last week of the season the entertainment staff were brilliant with a big shout out for Ida who was always smiling and making sure we all had a great time!! We made some great friends too which was a bonus! The bar staff were fast and made us feel welcome with a great selection of all inclusive cocktails

Staff were very lovely, they communicated very well with people and supported them. The rooms were delightful and very nice, very comfy beds. The twin bed was slightly annoying but the room overall was excellent

Old/New Town Rhodes was very beautiful and only a 15minute bus ride from hotel. Entertainment was excellent for both adults and children, the staff are very engaging with the audience

The balcony was stunning with the sea view. Food was very nice, warm and a good variety. They also did different traditional foods which was interesting

Hotel has been refurbished throughout. Rooms cleaned daily and towels changed daily. Food is fantastic and staff are friendly. They will try their best to cater for special dietary needs.

I am dissatisfied with the hotel and its location. The staff, however, provided exceptional service. The executive rooms are satisfactory, but the older section of the hotel is quite dated

The location was great, the rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the pool was amazing! I was half board and really enjoyed the food too, I was advised if I wasn’t having dinner in the restaurant I was welcome to eat there for lunch instead which was incredibly generous

Unfortunately there is a strong smell of sewage up by the pool area & outside the hotel, this is coming from the sewage outlet across the road !!!!!!!!! Stinks wouldn’t go in the see because of this , beach not good full of rocks & stones , the busses are every 20mins & only 10 minutes to Rhodes town/ old town so handy to get about, would possibly go back but certainly a different location & hotel

Plenty of room looked modern and the beds were really comfy. The facilities we good the snake bar and greek/Italian resturant were nice. The food in the main resturant was nice but felt a little repative

A great hotel, with good rooms and facilities. We went in october and the pool was a little cold however the sea wasnt to bad. We booked a supior family room with sea view and it was great

During the day you have Nikos and Kyriakos looking after you, it says something that after 20+ years service each they still laugh and are a joy to be around

The animation team work really hard, Tibi and Boogy were really good with all the people staying g gettign them involved with activities if they wanted too

The night time entertainment was decent, enough to keep you amused and in the hotel. If youw wanted to step outside the hotel there were plenty of bars and resturants a few minutes walk away

We arrived after 11pm and still managed to get a snack and drink before bed. Location- Situated on a quiet area but still shops, bars, restaurants and a few supermarkets within walking distance

Iv found the tone of the stay starts at check in and I wasn't disappointed

This was my first experience of an all-inclusive hotel with my two children and it did not disappoint. The children loved the huge variety of food in the restaurant and visited the snack bar daily

My only negative is that the restaurant did get quite noisy at times but that would obviously be during the very busy periods

The pebbly beach is literally around the corner from the hotel and we enjoyed paddling and trying out some snorkelling there. We also took a 2 hour walk around the local area

The pool area was always clean and tidy. The sun beds did have the normal towel placement but plenty of beds. The pool bar was busy but Christina got everyone served quickly

The beach was just across a very busy road, very pebbly and not very clean. On the plus side the location was great. Lots of really good restaurants within walking distance and 10 mins from Rhodes town

Nice hotel, but disappointed with the breakfast (went B&B). Hotel rooms good, location good. Only one bar which is the pool bar. Rooms are nice and clean, with great housekeeping

At the poolside bar Efi made lovely wraps, sandwiches, fruit & cake also hot snacks and Astrit made lovely cocktails 🍹 in the evening their was entertainment on 3 times a week and the owners Lita, her husband and son live in the hotel it is very family oriented, but if you want luxury there are more expensive hotels in ixia don’t look at the negative reviews as some people pay for 3 star ⭐️ and expect...

Lito Hotel is very good place for vacation in this category. There are clean rooms, delicious food, pool and pool bar. Every staff member is very friendly and helpful - every eye contact means smile and good vibe

This our second stay at the Lito we came here last may , the staff are amazing and go above and beyond to help Goita, Jana, Efi, Astrit do brilliant and are fluent in several languages, the rooms were cleaned daily always fresh towels lovely housecleaning ladies

its a 3 star hotel well equipped, plenty of sun beds, great location for visiting the medieval town,we walked there & got a taxi back for 10 euros,Lito has entertainment 3 times a week,lovely stay,will be back

The place is good. Would come again. Staff great and helpful. Food plentiful and varied. Only thing that holds it back from a good 5 star is that our room was tired and dated although perfectly serviceable.

The entrance to the grounds is not controlled. It is strange that no incident was not. The administration seems to rely on the honesty of travelers (and local thieves)

It's a good hotel,work in progress it seems. Lot of food choices, eastern food night well worth a visit, rooms not 5* but it's serviceable and they are doing them up

The beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. The location of the hotel is perfect too, close to the hustle and bustle, but far enough away to have a quiet nights sleep. All the staff were super helpful and lovely

We stayed for 14 nights and we could not fault this hotel. Staff all work very hard and are very friendly and polite. Maria who runs the pool bar is very hard working. Breakfast has lots of choices to suit everyone

The hotel is typically greek blue and white style with a beautiful little courtyard, perfect for a drink before or after heading out for the evening. The staff are all helpful and happy

I really liked that we had a mosquito net on the door as I am always eaten alive on my holidays. not seen this in any other hotel across Greece. So, I was very pleased with that

Stayed here recently just for a week and found it to be a lovely hotel. We never got bored of the food as their was always plenty of choice

We were so lucky and got upgraded from a balcony/terrace room to the room with the swimming pool in front of it (pools open from 8am-6

The food had a nice variety with the occasional repeat at each meal. Cocktails could occasionally be a bit strong but good value for money overall. There are a few cats around which people often feed

The best thing about the hotel is the staff, they are absolutely fantastic, always helpful and friendly - especially Anita in the restaurant. Also really enjoyed the entertainment and dancing

Check in and check out was easy and the staff were very helpful. The location is nice only around 15 minutes from old town by taxi. The hotel staff can organise taxis from reception for you

The bar served tasty beer, and the beautiful pool area had a perfect grassy spot for relaxation. Internet was fast and reliable, and our room’s furniture was crafted from lovely solid wood, adding a touch of elegance

In short, everything was excellent, the food, the room and especially the staff. And the lovely Adrianna (I may have misread her name) at the mini market.

We had a holiday with my family in this hotel and it was great. Tho location is quite good and the ocean is just across the road. It was very easy ro cross the road and we did not experience any problems with that

We had all inclusive vacation so we did not have to think about food at alla. There was plenty at almost any time. There is snacks and a bar at the pool so you stayed well hydrated also

The bartender, older man was so nice and had good sense of humor. Also during the evenings they had a bar inside and the bartender there was also great dude. Room was pretty simple and had i guess everything we needed

My first vacation with my family wasn't that great. We arrived after 1:00 AM, checked in, and went up to our room. We entered the room and I immediately went to the bathroom to check everything

Has everything you need nice and close. (Kids pool, kids club within sight of main pools, beach). The food was incredible! Nice touch being greeted to the restaurant without fail

We recently stayed at D’Andrea Mare Beach Hotel and overall had a very enjoyable experience. Positives: The rooms were spacious, modern, and very clean — a real plus for families or couples looking for comfort

One important issue is the lack of supervision at the pool — unfortunately, some guests ignored the rules, jumping dangerously into the water near small children and rinsing sandy feet directly in the pool

Areas for Improvement: While the facilities were generally good, we did notice that the pool area could use more frequent cleaning, especially during busy times

The breakfast is varied and a great start to the day. The location is good (close to the beach, bus stops). Would definitely stay again if I'm ever in the area again

And on a side note, I’m a bit of a crazy cat lady and this hotel had tons in the surrounding area. My boyfriend and I would walk up the hill round the back and would feed them on a night

My boyfriend particularly enjoyed the fridge as he could keep all his beer in there! The beds were comfortable and the room was cleaned everyday, although we put the “dnd” sign in the door and just opted to change the bin when needed

Across the Street is Villa de Mare - is a very nice hotel designed with a swimming pool to which Introduction is open. Just enough to buy or drink to be able to use the pool or sun loungers

We had a very good time at filmar hotel. Staff is very kind and helpful. I would recommend a room with a seaside balcony. The view is awesome!

I also spent some time here on my way back from Karpathos,this is the main reason for my review. On the last night of my holiday in Karpathos I was not very well,my stomach was of it. I was collected from the hotel at 5

I stayed here for one night on my way to Karpathos but spent part of day here on my way back from Tilos, waiting to be collected to go to the airport in Sept

I was picked up by a pre arranged Taxi at Rhodes port and taken back to the Anixis to wait until I was collected and taken to the airport for a late night flight

I also asked if there was a chemist near by, she said there was and asked what I needed, I told her , she said follow me , we went through a back door to a mini market,which is part of her hotel and on a shelf behind the counter was what I needed

Glynis (the owner) had organised for George and David to wait up for us and to show us to our apartment. Caroline (the manager) cooked us breakfast in the morning. All the staff are so friendly and helpful

It's a good bar and they do food as well,there were plenty of tables and chairs. The only downside for me was it's up a side street off a very busy main road,which you have to cross to get to the beach
