Where to stay with kids in Ixia

The highlight of the holiday was definitely the animation team who went above and beyond for us. Babou, Sam, Lia and the rest of the team were outstanding

An exceptional stay from start to finish. The hotel’s beachfront location is unbeatable—just steps from soft sand, light pebbles, and crystal‑clear water

The rooms were spotless and stylish, the staff warm and genuinely attentive, and the sea views absolutely unforgettable. The Muses Greek Restaurant is a must‑try

They only had two staff on at the pool bar but the ques went down quickly. Reception staff are very good and helpful they helped booked taxi to airport. but the main mention has to go to the daytime animation crew

The water park was brilliant except the spinning slide. That managed to burn and bruise my arm off it. Rooms nice and clean, wasn't quite the same as photo but was nice. The hotel is bigger than I thought

We’re a family of 4 with children aged 9 and 6, we’ve had a 2 week stay at the Blue Bay and have honestly had the best time. We stayed in the main hotel, floor 2 with a sea view

Great place, energetic entertainment team although the current show we are watching maybe in the twilight zone. Lovely pool with plenty of padded loungers and a good food selection on an evening

My first vacation with my family wasn't that great. We arrived after 1:00 AM, checked in, and went up to our room. We entered the room and I immediately went to the bathroom to check everything

Has everything you need nice and close. (Kids pool, kids club within sight of main pools, beach). The food was incredible! Nice touch being greeted to the restaurant without fail

I expected more fish, but that wasn't the case. The children's area was truly lacking; the swing was about to come apart. For a 4-star hotel, they still need to work hard on cleanliness, friendliness, and food

One important issue is the lack of supervision at the pool — unfortunately, some guests ignored the rules, jumping dangerously into the water near small children and rinsing sandy feet directly in the pool

Areas for Improvement: While the facilities were generally good, we did notice that the pool area could use more frequent cleaning, especially during busy times

We arrived a day late because we missed our flight, but when we arrived the next day we were told we had been upgraded to the adults only sister hotel, we were told the room would be the same as we booked, but it wasn’t

We had a look at a few different rooms but they were not the same… we did eventually get the room we booked (junior suit with a swim up pool and sea view) not sure why we weren’t placed there from the start as the exact same room next door was empty

The pool areas were clean but the water was a bit cold for the time of year we expected it but for a five star hotel you would think like it to be heated. The beach was lovely and beach bars also had amazing service

We would have liked the sauna, steam room and indoor pool to be included in the price as its five star. The gym was quiet and had a lot of new equipment with showers and towels included

We tried a lot of cocktails at the pool bar which was amazing because the staff came over and took your order for lovely bar snacks/lunch too

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. Large complex but very well managed. The beach is their own and the main pool looks olympic size! All staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The view from the main pool was amazing. The a la carte restaurants were of a great standard with lots of choices. The staff were wonderful and very attentive

It's just a shame that the meals are exactly the same as they were two years ago. If the hotel could change the menu and buffet every one or two years, it would be perfect. But hey, it was as good as the first time

We couldn't get into any the first two days due to availability, but when attending the restaurants we had booked these where almost empty at times We had booked an executive suite our shower leaked and would flood the room if a few towels weren't put down under the shower door The ceiling in the walk in wardrobe started to leak and water from the air-conditioning unit leaked onto my clothes

The kids loved the pools, the slide, and the entertainment, while we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and fantastic food choices. There is something delicious for everyone, and the variety is truly impressive

What really made our holiday special was the staff. Every single member of the team was friendly, caring, and always ready to help. They treated our children with so much kindness, which meant a lot to us

The children pools were heated and were very welcoming for the little ones, although we visited in the off season, so it was not crowded

Fantastic!!! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mitsis Alila as a family with two kids! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect

All inclusive food was not notch with plenty of options every day. Snack bar had gyros and burgers everyday with chicken nuggets for the kids. Plenty of desserts to choose from. Pool was massive and very well designed

From the minute we arrived we were in awe of the hotel. The family room of 4 is something we have never stayed in before with stunning views over the sea. Beds were massive and very comfy

Gym wasn't bad and had most things to get you through a quick holiday workout. Kids pool looked very good, though the lazy pool just took you whatever way the wind was blowing

Also the slides were all very good but they only had 1 /4 slides open at a time We were there in the last week of closing so that might have something to do with the slides

We had the mostly amazing stay with our friends and family. Food was incredibly varied, with restumants also on site. Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble

We have just returned from a week’s stay as a family of 4, children aged 13 and 11. The hotel is perfect and we cannot fault it. Everywhere was very clean, with cleaners and staff constantly cleaning all day

I would recommended beach shoes as it is stony to walk into the water. The honey doughnuts in the bar are also delicious! A brilliant family-focused hotel and holiday

We loved the beach, the bar, the room, the pool table, the gym, the entertainment, the tennis courts, the easy access to shops and so much more

A special mention goes to Davide, who was absolutely exceptional. He was so attentive, caring, and full of energy, always making sure every child felt included and happy. You could really tell he loves what he does

The pools during the day were heaving, you could hardly move, on 3 occasions the pools where closed due to parents letting babies poo in the pool, it's not acceptable

Lots of people letting children throw food on the floor and then just watched the hard working staff pick it up

Then there was the poolside pizza and gyros on offer. You could have everythibg from cocktails to large measure and i mean large measure shorts with a mixer

Loved the cushioned sun loungers by the 3 pools. Theres more that i have probably missed. The staff were always happy and smiling and would great you where ever you went

Staff are mostly fine, but don’t really care about guests, at least that’s how we felt when we approached them. Beach is nice, water is clear, pools are fine, sun loungers are very comfortable

1st class service from check in/out, bus times, late check out info. Not one bad thing to say about the food. Breakfast had everything you could ask for even onion rings !! Lunch and dinner catered for all foodies

Lager was Vap and mythros and they were just right during the hot days. Great view from the 7th floor although a little nervous sitting on the balcony as its a long way down when you look over the edge

Rooms cleaned everyday and to a high standard. Beach towels were provided, shower rooms available after check out. Something on offer all day -aqua aerobics etc. The small water park is a great idea

The owners are very friendly and they were very accomodating with all our requests during our stay and we are very thankful for that! The Hotel premises are very nice and family friendly especially the swimming pool area and the lobby

Great place for family with wonderful water park and short walk to Faliraki beach which is ideal for children as it is quite shallow enjoyed our stay very much

My 5 year old daughter had a blast at the swimming pool:) The food was also very tasty! Finally, the hotel is located walking distance to Faliraki Beach and to the bus station which connects you to the different destinations in Rhodes (Old Town, Lindos and all other beaches and even to the Airport)

It's a little secluded but only 500 me from the closest market and then 1km from the city centre of Faliraki. The beach and also every place you would want to eat at and buy things from. This Hotel is family friendly

Just had a lovely week here with 3 friends. Great hosts Mike & Maria and their team. very clean hotel, daily maid service except for Sunday's. Lovely pool area and food was good

The only thing that wasn't good for two days was the weather, but the wonderful staff could not work miracles to change that. But every other day was warm and bright with their presence

Recently stayed at mitsis faliraki from 28th Oct - 4th Nov. As a family but for our honeymoon. Greeted by Nikos on arrival who helped show us our room and take up our cases

Very handy! Overall all the staff were incredible, the hotel is clean and a fab location with plenty of food to eat! Would definitely return to this hotel and would recommend to family and friends! My only feedback would be perhaps a child’s mini disco before the main entertainment and perhaps a dj for a while after the show for anyone not wanting to go outside the hotel at night

A late food option between 10:30-4am was great and my daughter loved the none stop crepes! Kids club was great, all super friendly and could drop in and out when she wanted! The pizza making was super cute! Location is amazing right on the beach and although end of season the bars are all in walking distance if you want to venture out or hire a car etc

Any little issue is resolved quickly and efficiently, which really makes a difference to the overall experience. It’s rare to find a hotel where you feel so well looked after, but Mitsis Faliraki truly delivers

Made to feel very welcome and Nikos would greet us each day as he seemed to remember all the guests. He was also on hand to help with any queries we had

We had an average stay at this hotel. We had to carry our suitcases up flights of stairs to our room as we had one of the rooms by the small pool

The same day we spoke to the manager in the evening who was a lot more understanding and tried to get someone to take a look and a few days later the same thing happened to which we were then offered a bigger room however we only had two days left of our stay

We had problems with our shower where water would come out of the drain on the bathroom floor and flood the floor. We reported it to the reception staff but didn’t seem to care and claimed it was a common occurrence

Some staff were very rude to guests, thankfully not us, but could be overheard at the pool bar being very nasty. Unfortunately, We will not return to this hotel, and couldn't honestly recommend

Obviously this increased the numbers at mealtime, significantly. A la Carte Restaurant was good and staff lovely, only wish the 'oriental' meal had been chinese, though the Italian was very good

Staff elsewhere were very hit or miss as to attitude ! Completely 'blanked' my brother at the bar 1 night, even though he was trying to make conversation with them

Staff very busy of course but not much welcome, a few were good. During the time we were there, there were 2 conferences a wedding, and then a Chess tournament

I get it some people enjoyed it, but the bad outweighed the good for us

Stayed at Rodos Palace for a long weekend with mates, honestly loved it. Rooms were clean and way bigger than I expected, bed was comfy and the AC actually worked (big plus)

The chef Aris prepared a surprise Greek mezze plate for our family dinner. Kids loved the miniclub and the pool games kept everyone smiling. Staff felt like old friends by day three

We came back to Akti Imperial for our parents’ 40th anniversary and the hotel helped make it unforgettable. They upgraded us to a family suite with a sea terrace so we could enjoy sunrises together

The food was a real highlight, featuring a wide variety that catered to everyone's tastes; the delicious pizza and gyros at the pool restaurants were a definite plus

Never ever heard of this but it worked in our favour Pool is freezing but you do get used to it. Bad Got stung with city tax. Was not expecting that at 70euro per room! Drinks are just sugar syrup

Awful for AI Food- just not that great. There were some nice souvlaki one night. Breakfast was poor, cereal and milk were strange. Hot food was always luke warm at best

Absolute amazing staying at Sol by Melia Cosmopolitan Rhodes!!! The hotel is brilliant, the staff are amazing, the food and drinks top notch! George the manager has done it best to welcome us to this lovely hotel ! Thank you George and your amazing staff!

My only gripe would be I would have liked one more evening to book the Italian as you can only have two bookings for a two week stay. Would recommend your hotel to everyone. Will definately come back to Rhodes

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon, neither of us have ever been to Greece or any of the Greek islands, we absolutely LOVED it here and are already trying to work out when we can come back

We had a wonderful trip for 8 nights here. The staff are faultless and lovely. The location is ace and the pool is great. The only few criticisms I have - the room doesn't feel "5 star"

The wifi was great, even for work -teams calls etc. never used the pool but it was beautifully clean and well subscribed. 15 mins from old town made it a perfect location with spectacular views

The pool was freezing and unless you get a certain sunbed which is in the sun all day you end up having to move beds so you get sun. The sunbeds are quite packed in so you can't really move them around

This is a really beautiful, spotlessly clean hotel with a wonderful pool. Our room was upgraded and was huge, with lovely views of the pool and the sea

The poolside restaurant we tried had a lovely location but again limited options for me

g an allergy card to put on the table so you don’t end up having to constantly re explain. In the end, we ate out in Rhodes as restaurants provided a much less complex experience

I am dairy intolerant and whilst the buffet was clearly labelled, the labelling used 2 different systems and it was time consuming and stressful to find options I could eat

All Inclusive hotel with very nice pool area, close to everywhere, the beach, the airport and Rhodes town. Close to the hotel is a lot of gift shops and a good, cheap car rental (Sky Rent a Car)

Some rooms are a bit outdated. The buffet restaurant (Dionyssos) has very good rotating menu

If the pool feels too loud or crowded, you can simply step onto the beach, which is conveniently located next to it. The food overall was a highlight

Breakfast was standard—similar to what you'd find in many hotels—but I would have loved to see more local fruits included. However, lunch and dinner were exceptional

Hotel Sunshine Rhodes We recently stayed at Hotel Sunshine Rhodes and had a lovely experience, which I would rate as 4 stars

Lovely hotel very friendly staff and lovely surroundings. Nice gardens really big pool which was seawater and a smaller one which was normal

Nice quiet location, reception staff are absolutely brilliant, so helpful and listen to everything you asked them

Me and my wife to be absolutely love this place. Staff were very friendly, room was lovely, Pool was sensational Jeff. Food and drink were good value

The swimming pool is fantastic with a bar at one end

Unfortunately the evening entertainment is very quiet and lacking atmosphere unlike the first time we stayed here, (it really used to buzz) there is no Karaoke now and we have noticed the bar is less busy, when the acts are on you can hardly hear them and it just sounds like background music which doesn't seem to draw the guests the way it used to

We love where the Hotel is positioned as it's easy to walk into lalysos and just a short taxi ride to town. The beach opposite is really good with toilets and a great beach cafe

There is a separate adults pool near the main building with its own bar and very swish but you need to spend a minimum of 10 euros to use this facility, maybe a God send during peak season but didn't use it

There are only two small lifts to the floors in the main building and I could imagine in peak season this being a real problem, but no issue when we were there. Cleaners came every day and did their jobs well, no issues

Main pool was good, lots of sunbeds and large separate kids area/pool. Beach was rocky, lots of beautiful fag butts everywhere and not for me I'm afraid

The suite was large and roomy, separate large bedroom with own tv and safe (free to use), large double balcony with stunning views, large living room with own kitchen facility with fridge, etc

Own TV and two sofas/beds and comfy arm chair. Bathroom had a bath and shower built in and no issues with water pressure, wife says hair dryer was useless but never used it myself

The suite had everything we needed, couple of English News Channels and free internet was really good, in good decorative order but starting to look tired

It’s a big place with a mix of rooms in the main building and bungalow-style accommodation in the gardens. Families with children are definitely made welcome here

My husband had bought two coca colas for our children. I settled this bill and asked a short man with dark hair if we could please get some water. He took my money them ignored me

Breakfast and dinner are very rich. You can always see butterflies and little cats outside the window. The service attitude is as warm as the sunshine on Rhodes! I'm a little reluctant to leave

The lifeguard was very friendly and there were inflatables and balls for the children to play with. The evening meals were good but unfortunately one aspect let it down

We stayed in a garden bungalow which suited our family of 4. There are lots of supermarkets nearby to get supplies like milk or bottled water

Staff & Service Reception staff could be a little frosty at times, but to be fair, they were helpful whenever we needed something. Everyone else around the hotel was lovely — cheerful, chatty, and always ready to help

Pool had sunbeds that are plentiful, drinks at poolside can be ordered via QR code. The Spritzville cafe has good range of snacks, iced coffee and alcoholic spritz

Had the best 10 days at Electra Palace. Food choices great, the desserts are AMAZING! Rooms are clean, have all that you need, only thing that we struggled with was connecting our phone to TV so we could streem

We hired a car so we could explore the island but there is the option of shuttle bus that runs to old town. The local town Ialyssos has plenty of shops and restaurants which is a 15 minute walk from hotel

The only thing missing for us were the shows in the evening and right materials for the animation staff to execute the activities

This is our second time back to this hotel ,staff and food was amazing , the manager jhon marc was great such a amazimg and lovely guy ,very helpfull ,thankyou very much electra we will be back

Everyone I met at the hotel seemed to genuinely love their job and service. I needed extra care and assistance and they were always willing to help

They have a great gym, ice cream shop, nail salon, spa and clothing stores. They have a wonderful little market where you can buy Alcohol, milk, snacks, diapers, etc

Our family of five is currently on our fourth day of a seven-day stay at the Sheraton Rhodes Resort, and it has far exceeded our expectations in every way (room 1124)

The beach area is for resort guests so the sunbeds are free. The main pool area is beautiful especially at night with the different lights. The location of the resort is the main attraction

Brilliant holiday for the last week of the season the entertainment staff were brilliant with a big shout out for Ida who was always smiling and making sure we all had a great time!! We made some great friends too which was a bonus! The bar staff were fast and made us feel welcome with a great selection of all inclusive cocktails

Old/New Town Rhodes was very beautiful and only a 15minute bus ride from hotel. Entertainment was excellent for both adults and children, the staff are very engaging with the audience

The balcony was stunning with the sea view. Food was very nice, warm and a good variety. They also did different traditional foods which was interesting

I will start off by praising Maria (waitress) and Carlos(waiter) These two I observed and they were the best out of any of the waiters or waitresses they was both very attentive and kind and always had a smile on their face

Carlos is always smiling and is making sure that the guests are okay. He takes very good initiative with cleaning tables and keeping the process move and lovely in the restaurant. Overall, I loved my room and the food

There are two pools; the main pool plays loud music throughout the day, and the second pool becomes shaded in the afternoon

The location was great, the rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the pool was amazing! I was half board and really enjoyed the food too, I was advised if I wasn’t having dinner in the restaurant I was welcome to eat there for lunch instead which was incredibly generous

This is a honest review, just got back from a lovely holiday to Rhodes , Rhodes Town & especially the old Town were beautiful highly recommend to go there, Lindos & Symi a definite choice to go too, stunning places , THE HOTEL this is not a 4 ⭐️in my opinion, very tired looking , needs new sun beds as the ones were very old , The rooms were ok we just had the standard ones little small but functional...

We’re here with family and all the rooms are nice, good views. The whole hotel is very clean, they have an excellent housekeeping team who deserve praise

The pool area is lovely, a nice selection of two pools, one for adults and one for the kids, the pool is quite cold, but refreshing on a hot day

A great hotel, with good rooms and facilities. We went in october and the pool was a little cold however the sea wasnt to bad. We booked a supior family room with sea view and it was great

The animation team work really hard, Tibi and Boogy were really good with all the people staying g gettign them involved with activities if they wanted too

Plenty of room looked modern and the beds were really comfy. The facilities we good the snake bar and greek/Italian resturant were nice. The food in the main resturant was nice but felt a little repative

Special mention has to also go to Natalie who works tirelessly. In the evening there’s another dream team. I don’t ever want to go to a bar where George isn’t working, what a gorgeous boy in every way

The night time entertainment was decent, enough to keep you amused and in the hotel. If youw wanted to step outside the hotel there were plenty of bars and resturants a few minutes walk away

We stayed in a standard family room which I feel was slightly dated however, clean and I think we got a bargain for the price we paid! Beds were very comfortable. One thing I would say is the walls are very thin

We had a fantastic experience at the Atlantica Princess Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond — nothing was too much trouble, and they were always warm, welcoming, and professional

This was my first experience of an all-inclusive hotel with my two children and it did not disappoint. The children loved the huge variety of food in the restaurant and visited the snack bar daily

My only criticism was that it was a little 'shabby' in terms of decor and there appeared to be very few plugs and no hooks anywhere to hang items. We had daily towel changes and a small fridge and kettle facilities

Would definitely recommend a visit here but be careful you may become hooked

Our bedroom was right at the top far end of the hotel which seemed quite a distance to walk to begin with. However, we discovered an extra smaller lift in the middle of the corridor which did help

At the poolside bar Efi made lovely wraps, sandwiches, fruit & cake also hot snacks and Astrit made lovely cocktails 🍹 in the evening their was entertainment on 3 times a week and the owners Lita, her husband and son live in the hotel it is very family oriented, but if you want luxury there are more expensive hotels in ixia don’t look at the negative reviews as some people pay for 3 star ⭐️ and expect...

This our second stay at the Lito we came here last may , the staff are amazing and go above and beyond to help Goita, Jana, Efi, Astrit do brilliant and are fluent in several languages, the rooms were cleaned daily always fresh towels lovely housecleaning ladies

We were all inclusive and the food was plentiful lots of choices breakfast omelettes, scrambled eggs, pancakes, salad, 🥗 breads, the list is endless so is lunch & dinner 🥘 we were a bit disappointed with some other guests with 10 plates on their table !!I mean it was easy to keep popping back for more food

The beach was just across a very busy road, very pebbly and not very clean. On the plus side the location was great. Lots of really good restaurants within walking distance and 10 mins from Rhodes town

It seems to be not bad, but what are cockroaches! His wife and children were afraid to go into the bathroom while I examined her for their absence

Strong 3ka, but overall a pleasant experience

The place is good. Would come again. Staff great and helpful. Food plentiful and varied. Only thing that holds it back from a good 5 star is that our room was tired and dated although perfectly serviceable.

Came here by chance, our hotel was not for us. When started vparivat what that five was not that funny. Main disadvantages: food very well like dvoichnyi the hotel, the front Desk staff is quite adequate and good

We stayed for 14 nights and we could not fault this hotel. Staff all work very hard and are very friendly and polite. Maria who runs the pool bar is very hard working. Breakfast has lots of choices to suit everyone

As per previous reviews Kevin makes a great cocktail! The breakfast is good and the snack bar at the pool offers a varied selection of food and drink, thanks to Maria

The beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. The location of the hotel is perfect too, close to the hustle and bustle, but far enough away to have a quiet nights sleep. All the staff were super helpful and lovely

The pool area was lovely and quiet and surrounded by trees, which added to the calming feel of the place. Amazing 10 out of 10 👌 Hope to be back one day

Breakfast was great, as was bar food at the pool and drinks at the bar in the evening. BUT, the resort was pretty awful if you didn't want sports bars and tacky shops

The hotel is typically greek blue and white style with a beautiful little courtyard, perfect for a drink before or after heading out for the evening. The staff are all helpful and happy

Their were 2 pools a quieter one around the front of the hotel that always had plenty of day beds. The room we stayed in overlooked the pool which most people would love but I prefer a quieter view

Must mention the friendly comedy bird (crow?) who comes and hangs out in the sun lounger garden area behind the main pool and plays games like trying to steal your key card! What a character!

I can recommend Vladimir, Anita, Vasilis and Lionel as well as the whole Animation Team. Also the cleaning ladies were super nice. The room could be more modern but it was really clean

The best thing about the hotel is the staff, they are absolutely fantastic, always helpful and friendly - especially Anita in the restaurant. Also really enjoyed the entertainment and dancing

We were pleasantly surprised by this after a long day of travelling, and it was just a lovely gift from the staff for our anniversary/birthday. All the food and drinks are amazing
