Great place to chill and relax! My apartment (studio) was very comfortable, great bed and very clean with air con, fridge, couple of electric hobs, toaster and kettle - all you need to for your stay. Good size patio / balcony outside the room with chairs and tables, and even a drying rack for your clothes! They also have a pool (child friendly!) and a bar serving snacks, drinks and good cocktails...

Very clean and comfortable hotel at the beach, have been here 7 times and always very pleased. Can recommend this hotel to couples and families with children. The pool is nice and at the restaurant you can enjoy drinks and snack food. We will be back in August.

Absolutely amazing stay, we were a girl group of 3 and were made to feel so welcome and safe! Nothing was ever a bother and you could have a laugh with the staff and other guests here. Recently back from holiday as a group of 5 girls and had the best time. Stay in apartment room was very clean spacious and modern, overall very pleasant. The strip is about a 15 min walk down a hill, not very well lit but a taxi is about 10 euro on average. If you’re not the best walker a taxi is needed when coming back for the strip. We are currently staying at Villa Mare Monte, what a find. Beautiful location close to the Old town. The staff are so lovely nothing too much trouble , very friendly and accomodating . We are on a last day of staying at this lovely, small and peaceful hotel. We’ve been here 2 weeks, the rooms are very clean and quiet, ours has hillside views at the front where you can spot the goats! From our balcony at the back we had a lovely sea view. This is a little gem, perfect location for old and new Malia, near plenty of tavernas, supermarkets and shops. Staff are amazing, helpful and made us feel at home. Rooms spacious and clean, pool lovely. I would book this again in a heartbeat and recommend to friends and family.

First time to Crete and Mellissa apartments was recommended to me. I have a fantastic holiday and mainly down to the family run apartment. Help kind and very embracing the hospitality was 5 Star. The location was perfect. I would highly recommend and definitely return.

Excellent place to stay. All the staff are excellent and very friendly. Special thanks to the Manager who put a fan in the second room as it was quite hot at night. Also the young French lady working at reception and the bar for being so welcoming on our arrival.

Such an amazing friendly family that run these apartments, George, Ingrid, Elias and Anna could not do enough for you. Not forgetting the lovely Christina on the bar during the day, her breakfast is a must. The pool is lovely and inviting with plenty of sunbeds on the terrace along with a pool table in the dining area at the rear of the bar.

Great location but no air conditioning, great staff

We were a little nervous given the previous couple of reviews but had nothing to worry about. Check in was delayed but to be fair it meant we had a better room in the end. Room was spacious, had seemingly been recently refurbished, and it was well equipped with a brand new kettle in the kitchenette, hairdryer and iron. Room was cleaned regularly with clean towel and bedding during our 10 day stay....

honestly can't recommend this hotel enough. The staff, Petros, Adonis and Maria, are so friendly and would always happily help with anything we needed. It’s only a five minute walk from the main strip so perfect for girls/lads holidays. The bar at the hotel is also perfect to start the night out with. Will definitely be going back.

We had a very good time! The appartment was in a good location, close to the strip, beaches and markets. The room was good and the cleaner came and clean it almost everyday! And it had a nice balcony with a good view. The hotel workers (Petros, Maria and Lucy) was the most awesome people and welcoming. The apartment was unbelievably spacious and very clean. The kitchen was great, it had all the amenities though very basic setup, we did make some soup and pasta! You could easily walk to the centre of old town, took about 15 minutes. Comfy bed.

Unfortunately, my room was not clean when I arrived at the hotel. There was quite a lot of hair in the shower and dirt on the floor. The ventilation system was very noisy, and the gym was really disappointing, with several machines in such poor condition that they shouldn’t be used. In addition, the fitness room was extremely dirty.

Gym had no ventilation or airconditioning, had to be escorted to the gym instead of it being open with a passcode or badge and 3 levels below parking garage. Laundry services not available as self serve on site. Dirty stairwells, extra cost for parking, nowhere to hang clothes safely outside without concern for theft (no private balcony)

This hotel is really very good, the staff is very enthusiastic, the cleaning is very timely, the location is also very good, there are supermarkets and breakfast shops around, and parking is convenient.

The cleaning is ok, maybe they should sweep around the pool now and then because some guests don't know how to pick up after them selves. The apartment was big enough for my wife and myself, it was clean and was attended every two days. Philoxenia is located in the center of the village and three minutes walking distance to the beach. The management is incredibly helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to spend a lovely time in Panormo.

Just returned from Daneli’s after a week stay with family. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. The accommodation and grounds were clean. My kids loved playing in the rear garden and pool. Just returned from an Easter Break at Danelis Apartments - what a wonderful 2 weeks. Quiet area but close enough to Malia Old Town for the local restaurants. Artemis village was the perfect all rounder. Beautiful setting, ambiance, properties cleaned everyday, stunning pool, incredible staff and even a shared washing machine to do your washing. Minutes from the serene Stavros beach and couple of local restaurants. Would definitely come back.
