City hotel with small territory. Located within walking distance from the center of Rethymno. Nearby lively area with shops, bars, restaurants. Recommend for young people, but also for anyone who intends to travel around the island.
Built: 1998
Renovated: 2008
Location: 76 km from Heraklion, 65 km from the airport of Hania, on the beach, 1.5 km from the city center, Rethymno (Old town), on the waterfront. A bus stop 300 metres from the hotel.
Consists of one three-storey building with an Elevator.
The hotel has 16 rooms.
Beach: public sandy-pebble (opposite the hotel across a small road, with no active movement), 30 m from the hotel, 1 line. The entrance to the sea: sand (sometimes gravel). Beach towels: no. On the beach umbrellas, sun beds: free. At the pool umbrellas, sun beds: free of charge.
The hotel does not accept credit cards.

We stayed for 7 nights at this hotel. Upon arrival, our room was not available, so we were upgraded to a suite for one night — a pleasant surprise.
The next day, we moved into the room we had originally booked. It was clean and equipped with the essentials, but it felt outdated and did not quite meet the standards of a 4-star hotel.
The cleanliness of the room is very poor, the air conditioner made a lot of noise at night; it sounded like a truck engine. The bathroom was also very outdated.
The coffee in the room was never refilled and the water boiler had such a horrible smell that it made me gag.
We had booked only breakfast, which was acceptable but nothing special. The pool is small but well-maintained.
Overall, the hotel itself is compact and the staff are friendly and attentive to guests’ needs.
The location is excellent — just a few meters from the beach, with plenty of restaurants and mini supermarkets nearby.
Free parking is available at the hotel; it is not in the best condition, but it is still convenient.
So If I had the chance to return, I would choose a different hotel.

A nice 4* hotel, very clean, VERY good and kind staff, food ok (could be better), large balconies, good size rooms, pillows and matresses good quality, quiet area, tavernas and shops around the hotel. Evening animation, perhaps good for senior citizens.
I preferred the beach near the harbour, sandy beach, smooth entry into the sea, about 2km away or 7 euros by taxi (taxi station few meters from the hotel).
Overall a nice experience, many thanks!

The hotel was conveniently located near the sea and offered three parking lots, but the overall service was disappointing. On the first day of arrival, we were informed that no rooms were available, and we were moved to a neighboring hotel. Unfortunately, that room faced a stage area and was very noisy at night.
The following day, we were transferred back to our original hotel, where the room was quieter. We requested to exchange the next day’s dinner for a lunch basket, but on the third morning, after waiting at the reception for about 15 minutes, we were told that the basket had not been prepared and no reason was given.
On the fourth day, after returning from the beach, we discovered that no towels had been provided in the room—not even a floor towel. Despite requesting them three times including visiting the reception twice, the towels only arrived about an hour later.
The only positive aspect was the restaurant, where the service was reasonably good.
In the end they offered us two bottles of constant temperature water.
The following day, we were transferred back to our original hotel, where the room was quieter. A wonderful experience made possible by super friendly and accommodating staff, delicious breakfast and dinner buffets and amazing views.
You want softer pillows? We got you, they said.
You want an earlier breakfast? No problem, consider it done.
You need directions? A car? A good-morning smile from literally every staff member you pass? WE GOT YOU.
But seriously, just come here. It's great. You got cocktails, the beach and great food all within 5 feet of each other.
EDIT: The dance instructor/aqua gym trainer/Rhethomno by night guide deserves special praise. He's the best! TEACHER KAPUT

We stayed here in June 2025 with Half Board, but our experience was not what we expected from 4-star hotel.
We arrived late on the first night (after 10pm) and we received a cold plate (some cheese, ham and vegetables because of course, at that hour dinner was already served. On the day of checkout, we left our room at 11am, but had to wait for our transfer until 10pm. We asked if we could use our missed dinner from the first night, but the hotel refused and asked us to pay 18Eur per person if we wanted dinner. This was very disappointing, especially since didn’t receive a full dinner on arrival.
Sunbeds and umbrellas on the hotel beach are also charged separately (7 eur/set) even for hotel guests. Meanwhile, many nearby beach bars offer them for free, only to buy a drink (not a 7 night package as us).
The swimming pool is only open from 10AM to 6PM which is not convenient. After a day at the beach, after 6 PM is the perfect time to enjoy the pool after swimming in the sea, but it was already closed.
There were also a lot of mosquitoes, especially in the reception area and around the pool after 7pm.
Overall, while there were few positives things like decent food, and they let us in the last day to use the pool till we take the transfer in the night, but hotel’s rigid policies, extra fees, and lack of flexibility made the experience disappointing. I wouldn’t return or recommend this place to others.

I cannot rate the hotel as I was staying at the Pearl Beach Hotel opposite. However, from the outside it made a very well-kept, clean impression and its fantastic location is impressive as it is close to the beach and the town of Rethymnon is also within easy walking distance. However, I would like to take the opportunity to rate the food in the restaurant at the Sea Breeze Hotel. I had a perfect dinner there. During the meal you look directly out over the sea and the subtle lighting creates a romantic atmosphere. The service was very friendly, competent and the tables were stylishly set. The meal, with starter, main course and dessert, was an outstanding taste experience in a pleasant atmosphere. You can tell straight away that the chef cooks at a high level. Everything was beautifully presented, high quality and so filling that you are really full. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Amazing!! Top location (you see when the sun goes down, nice view on the sea and beach), food excellent (fresh juices, pancakes, greek food, fruits..), stuff is very very friendly. I think that those suites will deserve 5 stars. I'm very happy to stayed there❤️

Sofia at the bar was excellent
The pool was tiny and stone cold.
The maids were brilliant
The food was vile. All inclusive was a joke.

Hotel with a good restaurant, really good, but a bit far from the center... and .. despite the fact we booked for a suite they provided us a single room for the first night.. (overbooking) not pleasant at all.
