Phaedra Suites in Rethymno

This is a set of small apartment suites in a very historical building right in the middle of the city. Old town literally starts from here, just one street down and you are there.
We had the superior suite with balcony to the pool and it was a great choice. Very quiet and spacious. Bedroom upstairs on an open loft and small living space and kitchenette down stairs. Bathroom was a good size and shower provided lots of hot water.
Pool area is nice but now it was already too cold for enjoying. Must be really nice in the summer.
Owner lady is very friendly and almost always there to meet you in case you have any requirements or questions.
Cleaning is daily and very good work. Room has independent heating / aircon system, actually 2 of them. Also 2 TVs. Channel choice was more for germans but we managed with it.
Area is full of restaurants, super markets and bakeries so you can choose how you eat. Apartment has facilities to cook for yourself but we never tried it. Why should you when there are so many options around?

The lovely host will make you feel at home right away. The whole place is designed so nicely, and really has Greece written all over it.

The inside was designed by a very talented architect. If you are someone who wants to be in the heart of the city while also living somewhere upper class, this is the perfect place for you.

My girlfriend and I had the large suite and it was super romantic; a lovely balcony looking out at the hotel's charming poo.

The owner is extremely friendly and recommended us endless places to adventure to and eat. I can't recommend this place enough!
