Needed an extra room for a week and this place was basic but fine. Room cleaned 4 times in 7 nights, right on the coast. Would recommend if you are ok with basic no frills, of you want something for the family it will disappoint. Swimming pool was fine, place was quiet.

Cheap hotel, so don't expect much, but it's clean and dining place is located 20m from sea so you can enjoy seaview while eating brekfast! If you would like to take a walk 400m west you can find huge and almost empty beach!

Without a doubt, the best option for spending the night. The room is spacious, very clean, nicely decorated, and has everything you need to relax. It also has a good location.

What a quaint little gem! We stayed S/C for one week. The studio was immaculate, with everything you need to prepare and eat a meal. The balcony had an exceptional sea view and mountains. Very helpful staff, close to beach and town

I booked for a room without balcony (with view) but I ended up with a twin bed situation not a double bed. The lady went to the extra trouble of getting a double room with balcony at no extra charge. God bless those few angels who walk among us.

Well located but felt more like a hostel. Staff was very nice and friendly.

Overall it was ‘fine’, but we were disappointed as we expected better from the photos. Great location near the lively side of town but still quiet in the room. We didn’t have a balcony so the room was quite dark and dingy. The lights flickered so we couldn’t leave them on. Roof top access was quite cool in the evening. Self check in was seamless. What a most charming and tranquil location, within easy walking distance of all of the attractions the resort has to offer. We paid to upgrade to a large apartment which was definitely worth it, we had a duplex with 2 balconies and 2 bathrooms. Simply beautiful. The sea view from the room is simply a dream. The long sandy beach is beautiful, and early risers can watch the sun rise over the sea and the sunset over the mountains. The hotel was nice, but we got disturbed by our party people neighbors that would come at the hotel at 4/5 in the morning and could hear anything through the thin walls and door. It was a pity that we couldn’t stay longer. Although we didn’t meet the hosts in person, it was a perfect stay. The check in via key safe was super arranged, no problem at all. The apartment perfectly clean, fully equipped. Breakfast for me next morning on the table. Small extras like raki, olive oil and wine. The apartment very sunny, big terrace, a/c working.

The place is actually apartments which on one hand very simple in an ordinary building, but on the other hand very very good. Spacious accompanied with wine and raki on the house. It is centrally located, 2 minutes from the center. Highly recommended if you are not looking fir luxury.

From the minute we arrived the family were attentive and always on hand. A great location only 10 minute sot one of the beaches and a 15 minute walk to the port. Popi, Stellios, Georgos and Mary were superb hosts and always willing offer advice on where to see and visit when asked. A real family business and all of our rooms were clean and with good sized balconies. We will be back!

A simply awesome and fabulous hotel which you will not regret choosing for your next holiday in Malia, Crete! Upon arrival at the Drossia Palms Hotel Malia, I was greeted by the friendly staff and taken to my room. My first impressions were the extremely well kept, immaculate grounds and the beautiful pool area surrounded by palm trees and a variety of sunbeds and cabana beds with calming background...

Nicely decorated rooms, although tiny, but well designed! It’s the high season, but still an oasis amongst all the noise. Right off the main street, but very peaceful. The pool is just amazing with natural shade from the palms. Not too crowded even the hotel is at full occupancy. Kristina at the bar/restaurant is a gem.

Upon entering the Drossia Palms from the busy beach road in Malia you will find yourself in a beautiful, tranquil oasis. Close proximity to all of Malia’s nightlife, restaurants & beaches but you will feel like you’ve entered a completely separate resort as the well thought out surroundings, high specification rooms & of course the welcoming family ensure you have an excellent time!
