Bali Mare Village in Balion

This was my first and nightmare experience with 4-star hotels in Greece. For the record, I’ve stayed in 3-star hotels before and I absolutely don’t understand what justifies such prices in this hotel or where the 4 stars even come from. We waited almost an hour and a half for the room to be cleaned, even though they promised by 11, but in reality we checked in only at 12:20. There were no welcome amenities like water or a kettle in the room, just a broken lamp. The toilet flush didn’t work and there was no ventilation. The towels were dirty; I asked to replace them, and they gave me the same dirty ones, just not as bad. The bartender, together with his colleague, started shouting at me when I simply asked for a drink, insisting that I take out my phone and write a review — so pushy that it became the last straw. We packed our things and left on the very first day. By the way, I paid an extra €40 for a sea view room, but they gave me one with a pool view instead. This was a nightmare. The only good thing was the food, but that was more like a 2-star level — nowhere near 4 stars. Sad that I also payed a tax - 50 euro, for what I didn’t understand, 1 day - 10 euro like administrator said, so it’s strange for me. There is absolutely no peace and quiet you would expect from a 4-star hotel — don’t even hope for it. A drunk bartender blasting music at full volume will not let you relax. It felt like I booked a room not in a hotel but in a nightclub. And forget about security — there simply isn’t any. All photos you can see on GM

The personal was the only thing that I liked . A ginger old lady was so rude to me without reason. No internet connection in the big 2025. I don’t understand how it’s still has 3 stars . I will never repeat the experience again. The same food almost everyday. NO INTERNET CONNECTION ….
