We spent three lovely nights at the City Lion Apartments in Heraklion. Our loft apartment was spacious and so well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed for a quick meal break. The staff were incredibly helpful. They made dinner reservations for us, made sure we knew where we were going, and helped us turn of the heating in the apartment (Greeks like the temperature warmer than Wisconsinites in March). I spend several lovely hours sipping wine on the small balcony. The location could not be better for shopping and dining. We had a great visit!

Nice location. Difficult drop off for luggage. Well equipped. Large apartments. Nice coffee with cream and sugar. Extra waters. Would have given 5 stars if WiFi worked better. Dropped or disconnected often.

City Lion by Semavi is an excellent place to stay in Heraklion! The front desk staff were very kind, friendly, and always helpful — they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and assisted with everything we needed.
The location is perfect, right in the centre of the city, with shops, restaurants, and attractions all within a 2–3 minute walk. The apartment was clean, modern, and very comfortable.
Overall, a wonderful experience — great service, amazing location, and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Heraklion!

The room was large and had a small courtyard. Walking around the corner, you'll find the pedestrian street, making it easy to walk to the museum or to the old pier to watch the sunset. Parking is difficult as it's in a small alley on the pedestrian street, so if you're driving, make sure to reserve a parking space with the hotel in advance.

Excellent location in the center of the city and at the same time in a quiet neighborhood. Cozy and modern rooms. Easy check in/out. Very friendly and helpful staff. Whenever we have visitors, we always recommend it, and they are never disappointed.

City Lion has it all. It is lovely boutique apartments in a perfect position for everything you need when staying in Heraklion Town.
We were given a very warm and helpful welcome from the front of house staff who told us everything we needed to know and everyone was always on hand with helpful advice.
The hotel has obviously had a recent refurbishment and our apartment was cosy, but with all the most modern
facilities. The view from our small balcony lived up to it's reputation. The Town and Restaurants only seconds away and we found everything we needed within a short stroll.
If you are looking for 5 star facilties in a delightful enviroment,
Look no further.

It’s great place! The apartment is new, fresh, very clean and spacious. First of all, I want to note that the owner and the staff are incredibly friendly, polite and wonderful people who, regardless of their employment and time, always helped us, answered all questions and gave valuable advice regarding the city, island, interesting places, etc. city center. The filling of each apartment is even better than I could have imagined, there is everything: from washing utensils to a sandwich maker. We were in three rooms: each has a balcony or terrace. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Smart home control, air conditioning system worked perfectly. Login by code, you do not need to carry the key all the time. Incredibly comfortable bed and pillows of different heights. There are dishes, you can easily prepare food, a coffee machine, an iron and an ironing board in each room. Rooms are treated and disinfected during cleaning. The owner has developed a mega convenient application for apartments where all the most necessary information is collected for a person who first came to Heraklion and Crete. In this app you can find the desired place or service and get directions. It is very helpful. The room itself is quite, neither neighbors nor sounds from outside interfered with us. The interior of each apartment is made in a specific theme, but they all merge together in one concept, telling the story of the city and the island. This added certain positive emotions, it is nice that the owners did not just build a hotel, but they are created their own atmosphere and invested a piece of love for their homeland and interested the tourist. Guys, you are great fellows, stay the same, strength to you and good guests! thanks to this place, I also have fond memories of Crete!
