Margarita Apartments in Ierapetra

Absolutely excellent place with magnificent views on the sea. In the night you can sit on a bench ,behind you an olive tree garden and in front of you a breathtaking view on the stars and the sea. The hosts are very beautiful warm- hearted and welcoming people! In fact these were the most amazing hosts I have ever had! Beyond grateful for this wonderful experience! Furthermore , the place is very clean and simply wonderful!

I don't understand all the negative reviews here. We stayed there as a couple for 6 nights and had a cute little studio, typically Greek. While it didn't offer much in the way of amenities or comfort, it did have a very nice location, a terrace with a sea view and sun loungers, and very friendly hosts. Maria even lent us snorkeling equipment because we didn't have any with us, and she said the rocks below were great for snorkeling (you really can, if the sea is calm enough). There are many beaches nearby (some of which can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes). The view over the cliff is incredibly beautiful; watching a sunset or the moon reflected in the sea is breathtaking. A dirt staircase leads directly from the property to the sea (note: not a beach, but rocks), where you can also swim or snorkel when the waves are calm.

The only downside is that the facilities are very spartan, making cooking difficult. The size of our double studio was also marginal, but perfectly fine for a week, especially because of the lovely terrace.

The best place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Crete. Amazing people.

Very nice location with perfect views! Thereby there is Nikos, a wonderful sweet host. This was a Holiday with the capital "H". We will never forget all the nice things here and hope to go back one day.
