AVOID THIS HOTEL. Please note this review is for Koukouras Hotel. We have been to this area a number of times and had great holidays. (Bus route to Chania great, beach great). There are much better similar priced apartments/hotels close by. Rooms are depressing and badly lit. Kitchen area very badly designed dirty old fridge. Bedroom over filled with badly placed furniture. Bathroom dark and grim. Noise from road is unavoidable at front and air con is not included. Run down gardens to beach. Left early to get some sleep in an alternate hotel Never felt need to write a review before however felt the need to warn people. Can recommend Creta Palm across the road! Great place

Don’t be fooled by the photos or reviews. 1. Room was very small.. double bed very tight prison cell small 2. No air-con (10 euros a day extra) 3. For a self catering no kettle only a two ring hob and that’s about it. 4. Very noisy couldn’t have the French doors open because of road noise 24hrs a day Not that you could see the road because of overgrown climber blocking the light. 5.no pool on sight that was located somewhere else. 6.our third holiday in that area and has now put us off from ever going back 7. Very expensive for what you don’t get ..

Studio room for 2 friends sharing and was perfectly adequate, stayed in room 109 which was steps from the pool and a lovely young lady came in and cleaned/replenished every day, all the staff were lovely and very accommodating. Pool was cleaned every day from what we saw. It is in a quiet area, but a minute walk over the road to a nice beach with bar selling drinks and snack food, close to supermarkets and 30 seconds to bus stop to Chania. Agia marina a few bus stops down with many more restaurants, shops and bars than stalos, which is quite quiet, but is what we wanted. Overall would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel with linked apartments. Perfect location with the apartments actually on the beach with the hotel over the road. Serviced everyday and lovely and clean. The only negative is it is advertised as having 3 bars but only the beach bar was open and then only until 6pm. They did however allow you to go to the supermarket next door (that’s open until23:30) to buy drinks and bring into the pool area. This was the view from our balcony, excellent!

Failure. What is in the photos, differs from reality. It is a pity - I will not come here again.
You can find a better standard and better service for the price.

Good organization, rooms cleaned every day and kindly staff. Close to the Sea, it's the only with a bar in the beach. Maybe to much expensive the bar at the swimming pool

The rooms were in an awful condition. No Aircon on first night, later told you have to pay for it. The extracted fan was held to the wall with tissue paper. loose wires poking out of the wall and the grass outside our room. Bugs in the beds. The bed for the first person was basically a prison bed .I've stayed cheap before, but this is something else. The only positive was the lovely bar lady, who made a lovely daquori. We stayed one night, got a refund (not in full) and left as quick as we could. The manager was rude and when we tried to ask for a refund she changed her mind and said she was 'just a receptionist' and refused to take responsibility. There was WiFi but good luck trying to get on to it. I'm not one to leave a negative review but I've never seen a hotel so poor .

Nice hotell, nice helpful staff. Refrigerator and cooking plate in the room. Wifi only available in the reception area, not in the rooms.
There is a swimming pool and one small swimming pool for children. Supermarket is just across the street.
Bus to Chania takes 10-15 minutes, price pr. June 2018 is 1.90 €.
