Evdokia Apartments in Agia Marina

My partner and I paid extra for a studio apartment which sleeps 4. It was a good size and very clean throughout. The grounds are also beautifully kept. One small downside was that the shower was a bit annoying! The shower head is fitted on the side wall rather than the tap end of the bath so the space between the shower head and shower curtain is narrow and keeps sticking to you as you wash. The shower head also kept dropping down! Other than that, the whole apartment was perfect for our needs. Also, all staff were extremely lovely, friendly and welcoming, including reception staff, cafe/bar staff, cleaners and the gardener. We cannot fault them. However, one member of the cafe/bar staff ruined our experience. This was the older, small female with the short bleached blonde haircut. She has an extremely bad attitude and on the last day I fell out with her. Basically, I ordered 2 Freddo cappuccinos (iced coffees) for myself and my partner, which the other cafe/bar staff made before with no problem, but when we asked this lady, she acted like we asked the world from her! We then waited around 20/25 minutes for her to make it, then she eventually came over with two hot drinks with cream on top. They also looked like hot chocolate. I initially felt mean mentioning to her that it was the wrong order after taking so long to make it, but we wanted a cold drink and I don’t like hot chocolate. So, I ‘politely’ mentioned the misunderstanding and she just kicked off angrily and started shouting! She then grabbed my drink in temper and started shouting “it doesn’t matter, no problem, I’ll do it”. But, by this point I lost my temper and told her to stick her drinks where the sun doesn’t shine and told her attitude stinks. We then left and went elsewhere for a drink. It was a shame because we had such a good experience throughout the rest of our time on our holiday and as I’ve already said, all other staff were very hospitable and friendly. Other holiday makers had also mentioned this ladies bad attitude so it wasn’t just us who experienced or witnessed it. She needs reminding that respect works both ways!
