Poseidon Beach Hotel in Laganas

Hotel is well located in katanas away from the big night nuisances of the summer. The hotel got a big swimming pool but it was cold during our stay. The reception girls are friendly and nice. All the staff are friendly btw. Amazing fire show by Fati . I guarantee you will not regret it.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff are very helpful and kind. I can not fault the hotel at all. The food was great my girls are very picky and they did not go hungry. You can get food from 8am till 9pm as there is a snack bar that runs from 10am-6pm and the restaurant is
Breakfast 8-10
Lunch 12.30-2.30
Dinner 7pm-9pm
The entertainment on a night is ok.
The cocktails list is good for an all inclusive.

Firstly a very good holiday. First room offered on the first floor was not good balcony looked out on a wire fence with some sort of false “camouflage” netting. No kettle or tea coffee facilities. Room clean plenty of towels. Returned to reception and kindly mentioned the room was not I would regard as exceptional no kettle tea coffee facilities and I did remind them this was an all inclusive holiday regardless of how many stars they had.

With that to be very honest they could not do enough for us a kettle was provided instructed to help ourselves to tea coffee etc from the dining area next time we entered for our next meal. And was asked that we return to reception 12.30 next day.
The next day the offered a fantastic room up on 3rd floor the view from the balcony was just outstanding we had kettle coffee tea the fridge was very good air con was very good (just right temperature) Outside 39c most days 29/30c at night so air con was welcome. WiFi we had to pay extra for (after all it’s not a 5 star hotel remember) to be honest it was not that good either but ok but only just.
If anyone put towels out before 8am they were removed after 8 that was fine almost all beds were used during the day.
Food was great plenty for all menu changed every day. Breakfast was good as much as you wanted. Drinks throughout the day was on hand beer wine cocktails was all there all local stuff of course. Food during lunch time was good BUT the pool bar made pizza all day and damm they were VERY VERY GOOD 120% rated on pizza. Cake in the afternoon on offer very nice great with tea.
Ice cream all flavours and very friendly staff. Pool very clean water very clean.
So would I return to this hotel no, no point me and the missus if we returned would try something different why not next hotel might be better or worse. But for the holiday it’s self very good but shaky start. Would I recommend the hotel yes of course. But remember you are paying for a 3 star hotel so remember that when you book. Value for money yes. If you want pool side life guards more selection of foods ect go fine a 5star plus hotel pay through the nose then you know you will get what you want. For us it was good and enjoyed our stay.

Great Hotel but could improve.
We stayed here a few years back so this may not be 100% accurate now but we loved it.
Great location and great staff, did find it a bit annoying to pay for a hotel room safe when it's included in other places and the drink offers were a bit slim.
But beyond that was a great place if your after a beach front hotel.

Hotel is in great location with access to the lovely beach at the back of the hotel. Food is average with little variety and feels repetitive. Rooms have all the things you need for the stay but bare in mind that WiFi and AC is at additional fee, walls are thin as you can hear your neighbours if they are noisy, rooms have access to the balcony but you won't have privacy on them as they are very close to each other. Rooms are cleaned regularly every day and towels changed if you wish them to be changed for the fresh ones. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I would come back to this hotel but purely because of the great beach at the back nothing else.

Lovely location. Breakfast wasn’t great but the buffet was good most days. Better than some of the 5 star hotels I’ve been to. Shower room door didn’t shut as it was warped, 20 euros for the safe, extra for air con. No kettle. Cups of tea even English were awful. Take your own T bags. We ate out a lot. The drinks are watered down but most places are.

Love this hotel. The staff are amazing, super friendly and attentive. The location is perfect, right on the beach. It's great for people who want an easy holiday - everything is on site including entertainment. But it's also handy for exploring the wider area too. Highly recommend.
