The hotel owners – Greek family Tamiolakis. Spacious rooms with nice design, good service, good atmosphere and good location. Near the hotel are many restaurants and bars, discos and clubs. The centre of Hersonissos is 5 minutes on foot. The hotel is suitable for corporate events and celebrations. Offered a special package for honeymooners. Recommend for young people and families with children.

Location: 25 km from Heraklion airport, 42 km from the center of Agios Nikolaos, 500 m from the centre of Hersonissos, 50 m from the beach.

I really love this place! I like the food from the buffet, you can choose what to eat in the morning or in the evening. The rooms are a little small for my liking though. However, I do like the feature where you let the cleaning ladies just clean your room. Not to mention the staff are really nice and they guide you through the room. Not only are there 2 pools, but also a sea down the street. You can ride jetskis in the sea. There's also a bar, an 8-ball place and a lot of shops nearby from this hotel. There were also nights where people danced to Greek Music. It's luxurious and it's a great experience. Overall, good stuff! 4.5/5

We've booked 3 Standard rooms for 3 nights, The receptionest gave us 3 tiny rooms under the ground, with no window , no space to move in room, No place to open our luggage, no chair, no desk to open my laptop for work.. , even the bathroom we had to enter diagonally !! and the sink was out in the bedroom !! And we had the worst service and replies from the employees..the worst guest relations.. We've asked to change room since we've entered, and each time they keep us waiting for long to say at last: come to ask tomorrow morning after 11:00.. and nothing done, still having the worst repliies, though we've offered to pay more money for a better room...and we were refused with a gloomy face... No help no service not even a smile not a welcoming attitude.. we had the worst vacation ever .. each day they keep us waiting to say NO.. .. We wrote to the hotel by email, on the 2nd night , the same we wrote here in our review.. and Just the last day of our stay, at 11:00 when we were leaving for a booked tour, they called us to say that they have 3 rooms to move us....we didn't want to ruin our last day there checking out and checking in.... enough was the time spent with no hope.. ...Albatros Spa employees have ruined our days and our vacation....

My stay at the hotel 06-11 October was perfect. The workers of the hotel were hospitable and pleasant. Rooms are always tidy and good equipped. I had nice view on the street and the beach. Food was nicely cooked and served. Every day some events like Greek dancing or wine tasting. In the room was cosy and silent. The cool elevator had Greek music while you are inside! Pleasant relaxing smell in the lobby lounge made me feel like home and always welcomed. To the beach was 3 minutes walk. Perfect location! Close lots of local tavernas and bars, car rentals and excursions… My holiday couldn’t be better! Thanks to Albatros! Also highly recommend to visit spa. Was there twice for sauna and massage. Relaxing atmosphere was just from the entrance. After massaging was led to relaxation room with drinks.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Due to being a Travel Agent, we were given a free upgrade from a Superior Room to a Junior Suite with a Plunge Pool and wow this suite was amazing, it really made our stay. The staff were lovely and hard working, the hotel was very clean and smelt really nice. The location is perfect, you are a 2 minute walk to the nearest beach and there are lots of bars/restaurants and shops nearby. The food was varied and you can order food/drinks straight to your sun lounger when chilling by the pool, there were always sun loungers available too. The hotel had a lovely vibe and it wasn't too noisy. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be back. Thanks for the amazing stay!

A friendly resort that felt like coming home. I loved the blend of classical and modern with traditional Greek influences and food, a unique combination which makes it a place you want to come back to again. We live in Australia but I really hope I can return. So generous with free wine tasting, cocktail and cooking class experience, very close to the beach and restaurants and surrounding villages - plenty to do ! The staff were accommodating and willing to please answering any questions or requests. Lots of little pleasant surprises that made the stay so enjoyable thank you highly recommended.

Our experience at the Hersonissos hotel was exceptionally positive. We were particularly impressed with the quality of the accommodations, which were well-appointed and thoughtfully decorated. The hotel's dining options were equally impressive, offering a diverse and flavorful menu for both breakfast and dinner, complemented by professional and attentive service throughout the establishment. The restaurant staff were prompt and courteous, the reception staff were exceptionally helpful, and the housekeeping services were consistently reliable. Entertainment programs during dinner added a special touch to the evenings. While the hotel lacks designated parking, we were consistently able to find convenient parking nearby. Although the beach near the hotel was crowded, the water was clear. We also enjoyed exploring other nearby locations, including Agios Nikolaos with Almiros Beach, Elounda - Plaka beach, and Matala. Hersonissos itself proved to be a pleasant surprise, exceeding our expectations with its vibrant atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! 🌟

The customer service was perfect—always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with any request. The rooms were very good, cleaned thoroughly every day, which made the stay very comfortable. The atmosphere was peaceful, giving us the chance to enjoy some real rest and silence.

The hotel also offers some great experiences: wine tastings and food masterclasses that added a special touch to our evenings. The aqua gym with an energizing trainer was a fantastic way to stay active, and we truly appreciated how clean and well-kept the entire premises were, especially the pool area, which was a pleasure to spend time in.

The only thing missing is a private beach. Please be cautious when going to the sea nearby—the coast is mostly rocky, with both large and small rocks, so finding a safe spot to enter the water can be difficult.

Overall, a great place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, good service, and special activities!

Myself and my husband stayed in a lovely room with a hot tub on the balcony, we were bed and breakfast and there was always plenty to choose from, all of the staff were lovely especially the receptionists who always went out of their way to help with anything they even let us keep the room on until tea time as our flight was a late one, we loved the pools and the entertainment infact we loved our stay from start to finish, there was even a bottle of fizz left in our room for us when we arrived, thank you Albatros for our wonderful stay and we can't wait to return, forgot to say the lobster night was amazing

Lovely staff in the hotel, always polite and nothing is too much trouble for them, we asked to change a room due to size and next day we have have been upgraded to a bigger room with lovely sea view. We were half board and the food was lovely, plenty to choose from. Swimming pool clean and no issues with a sun beds. Daily housekeeping room service provide by lovely staff. Bar staff always welcoming and smiley. We were at the steak night, the food and customer service was outstanding, special thanks to he bar manager :). Location is 10/10, everywhere close, beach, bars, shops with walking distance. Had a lovely time and can’t wait to back next year. Thank you very much to the hotel staff for the hospitality.

For a low season price it's a very good place. Spacious room. If you take a room with the yard view, it's gonna be quiet at night. A few steps and you're at the sea. I'd definitely come again, it's a good, budget friendly place. 👍

Very close to the beach and the restaurants. Dirty rooms from the first to the last day of my holiday. Old furniture. I refused to have breakfast in there. A real nightmare.

Basic rooms are in need of an update.
The bathroom is the same needs a renovation .
Everything you need is in walking distance.
Beach very close, so are the shops.
Owner always there till 5 pm for questions and directions.
For breakfast and lunch , ood cheap food.

Tip. Use the rrooftopterrace for sunbathing when it's windy.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms with air-co, talkative staff, good prices in the small restaurant (food was not so bad and well-sized portions; I had really cool iced cappuccino) and very close from beach, restaurants and small shops (lidl 10 minutes far by walk).
