Majestic Hotel & Spa in Laganas

I would strongly advise others to think carefully before staying at this hotel. Our booking, which was made through Love Holidays, was apparently mishandled and, five days into our stay, we were told there was an issue with it. We were then required to pay an additional €600 in order to remain at the hotel, which we did immediately.
Despite making this payment, we were repeatedly accused of committing "fraud", which was both shocking and upsetting. We were never provided with a proper invoice for the additional payment, despite requesting one.
As four young women simply trying to enjoy our holiday, we found the behaviour of some staff completely unacceptable. We were shouted at aggressively whenever we walked past reception and were made to feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. We were even told that we "had an attitude" and "should be ashamed" simply for laughing and talking amongst ourselves.
The most distressing part of the experience was when a male member of staff refused to return our passports unless we signed a document. We felt intimidated and pressured, and were told that if we did not sign it, we could be arrested for "fraud". This was incredibly frightening and left us feeling vulnerable and unsafe.
To make matters worse, when we were leaving for the airport, a female member of staff came outside and began shouting at our taxi driver, attempting to stop him from taking us to the airport. Thankfully, we had used this same taxi company throughout our holiday, and the driver knew the situation and continued with our transfer. It was an incredibly unprofessional and embarrassing scene, especially after everything we had already been through.
On top of the poor treatment, the hotel itself was disappointing. Our room was not cleaned properly during our stay, towels were not replaced regularly, and the overall standard of cleanliness was poor.
What should have been a relaxing holiday turned into a stressful and upsetting experience. We paid the additional amount requested, cooperated fully throughout our stay, and yet were treated with suspicion, hostility, and intimidation. The way we were treated was completely unacceptable, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had a watch in their property in the room and I noticed that it went missing. They said apparently it’s meant to be put in a safe. Yeah it is but they are the only ones who had access to the rooms from the cleaners. I left my watch in the bedside table. Hugo boss silver and blue dial. They said they found an item near the pool and I never went in that day. I noticed it was missing from the evening just before I went back to Home. Now it’s a bit of a coincidence that it happened on the day I went before I went. I spoke to them the night before. They said they couldn’t do anything but give me an email. Then when I spoke or confronted them about them taking it they got defensive and said you go you’re welcome here. But was very quick for taking money from me. And we had other watches as a collective. Four people and other watches in the room and none of those were taking and even phone and they were all in the same position. So if that ain’t suspicious then I don’t know what is.
