The room is old. Cleaning service sid not cleaning our room everyday. Location is not bad. The alley to the loby is lovely.

I had a very pleasant stay in a spacious comfortable room. the setting is in a quiet location in close walking distance to public transport and other amenities. There was a choice of cooked breakfast and cold options. The staff were friendly and helpful

I was supposed to give ZERO for the service because check-in for disastrous, the receptionist wasn't nice at all. Giving 2 stars just because of the chef who made us great scrambled eggs

For the price I paid to stay in the classic hotel for 5days, I am fairly satisfied. I also want to add that the hotel staffs such as the receptionists, the kitchen staffs as well as the staffs whom they kept the hotel clean and tidy, are very friendly and helpful.

Everything is good, but some people may think that the male staff members are not friendly. The female staff members are friendly.

Pleasant atmosphere, spacious room, large bathroom, neat and clean accommodation, additional household appliances such as refrigerator, microwave oven. Behind the hotel is a neat and clean swimming pool and a cafe.

The hotel is a little out of the city , great if visiting the puskas stadium , but train/tram network is so easy to get about . The hotel is immaculate. This place is just perfect for families. Heated Swimming pool , beautiful garden... The staffs are excellent and very welcoming. We had a great stay there. We only stayed there for one night, we would love to stay longer next time.

The outside of this residence is a bit off putting but once you get to the apartments it is a different story. My flat was lovely. The location makes getting around Budapest very manageable. Quiet and safe.

It's true that it's old and not cleaned well. It's an old building, so it's worn out. But this hotel has a unique atmosphere and is cool. It's a little far from the city center, but there's a bus stop within walking distance. (It's about 10 minutes.) If you just pay a little attention to cleaning, you'll forget about the oldness and have a great time. The hotel staff are all very kind.

The property is an old style large stone house that has been renovated. It has an easy going ambiance as it might have been in the 50s. The neighborhood is 50s style residential, but easy access to decent restaurant and great outdoor coffee shop. Easy access to bus, or 40 minute walk, over the bridge, to the very heart of the city. Service was fine enough, but no breakfast.

An average hotel, the rooms were clean but with ants, the Wi-Fi is of quite good quality, the hotel is in a good location, 10 minutes by car from the center, the price corresponds to the quality, there is a working air conditioner, but we got a damaged bed. I can't say anything about the service, since I almost never contacted it. Good for a 2 star hotel.

We chose this hotel for our one night stay during our trip to Germany. We did not encounter any disturbing situations. The price was ***et reasonable. The cleaning was very very good. ***et is suitable for accommodation during visits to Budapest.

This was my first every time staying at a hostel and I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable to would be. The beds are super comfortable and the toilets were always clean. Met plenty of people in the kitchen and location is really close to some famous bars. Highly recommend checking this place out over any party hostel.

Big fish hostel was my first experience living in a hostel, and honestly it was some of the best times ive had. Its a great option if you are solo and want to meet people to hang out with, or even if you are together with others. Staff were great and accommodating, 10/10 recommend.

This is the best hostel I have been so far. A friend and I stayed for two nights just after the reopening in July 2022. The rooms have very unique designs and the whole hostel seems like a giant apartment for same minded travelers. Through its size a very familiar space is created. Connecting with other people becomes easy especially through the big and well organised kitchen where everyone can sit...

The location is the only reason to stay here - very central but still quiet. The room itself wasn't great - v small for 4 of us, no mirror in bathroom (it was just left on the floor in the room), missing curtain, they don't even provide soap. I think this is supposed to be a very budget backpacker place - literally just a place to sleep.

Facility & staff were EXCELLENT, but.. The facility and the staff were great and excellent. But I had to put a lower rate because people in the next door were so loud throughout the night. I heard the screaming and banging noise constantly (fighting???), that scared me. Staffs are not at night on site, and I could not ask anybody to check them out.

We found the hotel great, location is fantastic, close to the centre but in a quiet spot, 5 minutes from the beautiful town market and green bridge. A good hotel with buffet breakfasts. You can have breakfast on the balcony with a panoramic view of the city. Daily cleaning of the room, friendly staff. The rooms overlook the courtyard, the room has a mini-fridge, TV, hairdryer. I stay here every trip to Budapest, was the third time. In terms of price-quality ratio, so far the best of the budget options.

I tried to call them many occasions but it went to deaf years. During check in I told the receptionist about it, he responded why not call to mobile number, there was no mobile number in their address and no chance to message them either. My stay was in 6 th floor and it was like onboven… there was only a cooler which was too old and sometimes released hot air. They were assured that I have aircondion...

The kind staff let us park the car for a few hours longer after checking out in the morning so that we can return in the afternoon after sightseeing. It is easy to go to the city center using public transport.

Amazing building. Had better bathrooms in other hotels on this trip. Breakfast was a disappointment compared with other hotels too. Lots of flies in the breakfast buffet area. The coffee/hot chocolate machine seemed incapable of dispensing a mocha, each attempt produced a different result, maybe blocked somewhere.

Location is in a quite area with tram in front of the hotel which is very helpful. Stayed 3 nights here with our 15 month old. The room is nice and big and clean, and all the receptionists I interacted with were super friendly and spoke perfect English. The location is pretty good, lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Only gripe would be that there is a big Jacuzzi tub but no shower, but my wife and son loved it so I call that a win. The hotel entrance picture is totally different from the one on Ctrip. Check-in and check-in are on both sides of the street. You have to find them by yourself with the key according to the picture. It is not very friendly for people with a lot of luggage. The shower room is very small and is not recommended for people with a slightly larger body.

Initially we were put in room 504, it was not good. There was alot of mold on the window, the air conditioning did not work properly and it made a very loud noise all night. There were staines on the walls and the windows didn't open. BUT we asked to move and the girl on reception moved us to room 503 which was very nice. the hotel is very central !!! easy to explore budapest from here ! my room was small but comfy ! for the price, it is good! reception is open even at night and staff is nice. my room was clean but the corridor of the hotel not always... the elevator is super small so you have to wait sometimes for people to use it before you. you cant go at more than 2 in it ! even 2, you might touch each other.

The property is in a great location, alot of dining options and metro nearby. Staff were friendly and area felt safe. The shower height is very small, elevator is only big enough for 1 person.

This hotel is situated in an ideal tourist area. It’s budget-friendly, and the quality is decent for the price. The customer service is excellent. Although the rooms are outdated, they are well-maintained and clean. We stayed for just one day and night, but we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, short-term stay in a great location.

Pleasant overnight stay The only thing to watch out for is that the property has two buildings. The reception is in one building, your gps might bring you to the other one, and there wasn't really a sign that reception is the second building down the street. Had a pleasant (unfortunately short) stay.

The staff were so accommodating, we checked into our room two hours earlier than expected, the receptionist printed our train tickets without a problem and stored luggage on the last day!
