We spent 3 nights in this modern 4stars wellness hotel. Our room was on the second floor but there’s lift. Everything was all right, clean and comfortable. Room was clean and tidy. The wooden beams gave the room character. Breakfast was ok - nothing spectacular but perfectly acceptable with a very decent range. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The jacuzzi was a nice touch.

This is a very good place with comfortable, clean rooms, nice staff and professional service. There are a pool, sauna and steam cabins. The breakfast is always fresh and tasty. The hotel is in a perfect spot, everything is reachable in the the city by foot.

Friendly staff, supposedly really good rooms and a nice bike rental services which we used. The bikes were in good condition and we were able to give them back at a different rental location which proved to be really useful.

A rather small hotel (only 13 rooms) in the middle of soviet style blocks of flats. Not in the city center but still in a good location, but anyhow, it is not a very large town, so everything is in a good location. First of all, the price is more than great. The location is out of the center but there is a bus stop 1 minute away, so it was not an issue. The rooms are very nice, you have everything needed. There wasn’t anybody at the reception but we had a code and accessed the place without an issue. To be honest we did not try the spa. It looked okay. nice hotel! the food is tasty and diverse. located in a quiet area, within walking distance of points of interest. the staff is friendly and willing to help. the spa area is well maintained but quite small, it gets crowded quickly. many facilities for children, some of them for a fee. however during the stay most of the tourists were elderly.

From the moment we were trying to find a place for a week end gateway, everything went well and we arrived to find a very nice hotel with swimming pools very clean, good and plenty food, maybe a little more expensive than expected, but all worthwhile!

Relaxing holiday, the hotel has all it needs but it needs better and newer appliances. TV is not Smart, furniture is quite old and the mixed area has even older things. The food was ok but not really diverse and you have to pay for whatever drink you want (even water, except breakfast). The Spa area is nice but quite small. The prices are really good and the overall experience was ok.

We had a very pleasant stay there. The wellness area was smaller than we expected but the services and especially the staff is really friendly and helpful. It is a good base for exploring Gyula with family.

We went for all inclusive and we got great value for the money and very polite staff. Also food is great and various. Hotel has their own pool, massage center, sauna, kids room for palying and baby sitting for kids from 3 years old. Fitness room is very basic and small, but it will do the job. Recommend for families.

We went on a 3-day mini holiday with my family to Heviz. The hotel was nice. My son loved the swimming pools and we loved the saunas. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. The hotel was at a good location, at the heart of the town centre.

Awesome, friendly staff, good prices.

The food in the restaurant was great (both breakfast and dinner). The rooms are cosy, the indoor pool was small but kids loved it. Horses around the property kind of surround you with tranquility; we got scared by one but it ended up just fine. Overall, a very nice atmosphere!

If it didn't cost a night in this guesthouse, how much it costed, I would say that it's a great guesthouse, but considering the high price, it's not worth it. The walls are very thin, every night someone will disturb you, and since there is no one at the reception at 10 pm, you have nowhere to complain. Room was clean and in an OK state, I liked the mini kitchen with fridge, oven and microwave. Bathroom is above average but I hate curtains in the shower, a door would raise the quality tremendously. I liked the bed. A table and a chair are missing very much from the room. The AC worked.

We paid 75 euro for four people , one night. We got nice and tidy room with two huge beds and kitchen + bathroom. Breakfast was included.

They do NOT clean rooms daily. You MUST request a cleaning. These are all adult rooms. For couples, this may be great. A working man, not so much. I'm in a adult dungeon!

The key feature of this hotel is the thermal pools. They are well maintained. There are four pools of varying temperature. One is cool. Another is pleasantly warm and has an inside and outside section. These pools do not appear to be mineral spas. The other two small pools are high in mineral content and high in temperature. Good food, kind personnel, relatively good wellness-area, quite a lot of parking places, included into the room-booking price. When fully booked, the wellness-area can get rather crowded - but to my experience, the mornings as well as the evenings are still OK.

The hotel was nice and the views and the location was just perfect. The housekeeping was unbeliveble bad. We stayed 6 nights and the cleaning of the room was made two time. I had to take the trash out my self and the frontdesk had to bring us more t.p. and fresh towels. The cleanin ladies had time to smoke in guests balconies, but they had no time to clean the rooms. The hotel is really excellent. It is clean and well maintained. A location close to the Zion of Rabbi Shaiya. 10 minutes drive. It was really fun there. I was a little delayed when they asked me for money for parking at the hotel at night.

The room is very small, probably less than 10 square meters. The facilities are old and outdated. It's not even a four-star hotel. Under the banner of environmental protection, they even charge extra for changing bath towels every day. There is no daily cleaning. I stayed for three days and only received one cleaning (just made up the quilt). It's totally not worth the price.

This hotel was a great place to stay in Eger. The rooms were a bit small, but very clean and everything (shower, intranet, etc) worked well. The beds were very comfortable. And the breakfast in the morning was outstanding. One could easily walk to most parts of Eger from this hotel. I was surprise me to find out they charged for parking -- they said it was to pay for the security system...

It's a nice little hotel in the heart of Eger. The staff is very professional and the place is well kept, despite its age. I would have loved to have a water heater in the room with coffee and tea, but maybe it's not the same standard as we are used to in North America.

A friendly, family owned hotel within 7 min walking distance to the centre of Eger. WiFi throughout the hotel, spa, and… a Beatles museum! What is not to like? Under the hotel you find cosy win cellars where wine tasting is arranged. I recommend you exploring local red and white wine, not least the famous Egri bikavér!

We went to Portobello based on a recommendation of friends, who both have 2 kids each. We asked them to recommend a good spa hotel not too far away from Budapest and Portobello came up multiple times. Now we know why. There is a playroom for kids, and it is attached to an aquatic facility with pools, slides, a lazy river and a hot tub. My only disappointment was the hours for the gym. Since it is attached to the aquatics facility, it doesn’t open until 830 am. I would have loved to use it around 630-7

Good but not good enough This hotel needs an urgent upgrade. The spa area is great as is. But the coffe machine would have flooded the restaurant if i would have not told thexstaff.
