Nice little hotel. We were there off season so there were no kids around so it was quiet. Plenty of food at breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. The room was a bit warm to us but nothing what an open window cannot fix.

Nice hotel, with spacious rooms, all-you-can-eat breakfast and dinner served in the restaurant downstairs. There is a playroom next to the restaurant where kids can play while their parents eat.

The service was good, the lobby was beautiful, the restaurant food was also good, the rooms were spacious, and the location was convenient.

First of all, you get the apartment at four and leave at ten in the morning, and I discovered this fact the night before when I received the complicated instructions for entering the apartment. The location of the hotel is perfect: next to the shopping district and the famous St Stephen church. The staffs were really friendly and welcoming, and never was there once a bad service. I stayed in a deluxe king room on the 6th floor. It had a balcony, and overall the experience was very good. Breakfast was served hot, so it had to be cooked to order; other meals were buffet style. The environment was nice, the location was good, and it was convenient for getting around.

This is probably the best hotel I stayed in during my three-week trip to Europe. The environment, breakfast and location are all good. There is a great view restaurant on the top floor, but reservations are required in advance.

We stayed in one of the most beautiful hotels in Hungary in June 2025. The rooms are clean and the food is delicious. The hotel staff is kind and helpful. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do in the area. This is our sixth stay here. We will definitely be back.

Very, very nice. It was built in the 1830s, as I recall. It is very pretty. Huge garden. Beautiful stained glass windows. An interesting walking path or two. We had a large balcony that was very nice. We were there on night so we did not get to take advantage of everything. I would recommend at least two nights if you want to take advantage of everything available.

We had the superior rooms which were quite spacey. Bathroom is a bit old. But the rooms had a nice view on the historic church across the street. (Bells at 6:00). Perfect location for a stroll around the city. The pools and saunas were very nice to relax. Everything is a bit old but still does for a comfortable stay.

This hotel is surprisingly super great both for adults and kids. The staff is extremely friendly, food is excellent, and the venue at the beach has also an amazing atmosphere and view. Very strong 4/5 here I only advise you to come if you have children. Upon arrival the staff was exceptionally nice and very welcoming. The entire bottom floor/lobby/kids play area/ dining is all 5/5 new and very top tier. The rooms definitely are on the older side. Spent a couple of days at the hotel that was designated a family weekend, primarily for children. Very enjoyable and a nice atmosphere in the hotel. One moan that our party did not appreciate. Wellamarine has been a blessing for me during the Covid 19 Pandemia. This hotel is just at the lake side. The distance from the main train station is less than one kilometer. Internet wifi speed is excellent. There is a wide variety of restaurants around the hotel but I love the ambience, hygiene and the taste from the restaurant which is located at the lake side. The tech in the room (like TV) is a bit outdated, no streaming service, just Hungarian free to watch channels. We spent only a night in this hotel, it was great. We needed a quiet hotel with sauna near to our home. The receptionist speak good german, the food was delecious, and the coctails excellent. There are 2 rooms for children, both of it are on the ground floor, far from the guestsrooms.

The place looks a bit old and the cleanliness is questionable, but at least the breakfast is diverse and better than other Debrecen hotels I've been to. There's a nice private parking area, with electrical vehicle charging spots, that also offer a few covered parking places. The location is close to the Motorway, Tesco, Spar and a shopping center with multiple shops. Overall good.

If you want to get away from city noise, this is the perfect place, out in the suburbs with two supermarkets close by.

The hotel is ok for one night stay, clean , and the receptionist was nice. The problem was that we arrived around 9 o'clock and the restaurant was closed. The bar was closing in 5 min, so we grabbed a couple of beers and went to bed hungry. Would be nice to live in a fridge at reception a few sandwiches for the late guests.
