Had amazing time near lake Balaton with family and kids , kids played so much , Hired SUP and use inflatable was great

Very nice camping. Friendly for families with children. I would give 5 stars if: 1) staff will be more responsive - during heavy rain our parcel started to flood and they were not willing to do anything 2) they will fix the sewage system to take the rain water properly 3) include in price WiFi (everywhere it's included) 4) fix some installations like water slides (2 of 5 were open)

After reading recent reviews I was a little worried, but we (family of 4) really enjoyed our 9 days stay at camping Pelso. And I have to be honest that for a large part has to do with the mobil home we got: Beachview 10. Which was on a great spot with a great view. The mobile home itself was large, clean and comfortable. We were at Pelso 2 days from 14th till 16th of June. Everything is good. Nice place, good accomondation, camper park in the shadows was exelent. But party/disco on Wednesday with very very loudly music till 1 a.m. it is terrible for families with small kids!!! 👎😱😭 It is not good from camper owner side! Here were a lot people with small kids and we cant sleep till 1:30 a.m.

The mobile homes are really nice (at least the Premium ones that we rented). The campsite has some nice areas and it seems that they are investing in new parts of the camping. However, the older parts look really old. Several buildings are closed, not in use or even burned down. But if you are in the right area of the camping, it's really enjoyable.

We had a good time. For the management: the place needs some attention. Reinforcing steel bars hanging out by the beach. Kids running around, not safe. Restrooms and showers needed a little more help.

Perfectly lovely stay. Probably not as upmarket as the website makes out - a lot of the facilities feel like they haven’t been updated in 20 years or so. But all perfectly usable and clean, and staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful (and almost all spoke perfect English, and which was a pleasant surprise). Food options were good, with standard basics each evening but also more local specialties...

We love the location, Watching the sale boats go by was a very special treat! The room and accommodations were very nice and the staff was very helpful. The only complaint was that the air conditioner did not cool the room enough, so we had to open the door, and the light woke us up very early in the morning. I would suggest curtains which block the light so that the guests can sleep late.

Room Otherwise everything was OK. But the air conditioning in the room was so bad. The room was humid and warm. I heard that many rooms have the same problem.

Nice lokation just by the lake. Very big pool and a jacuzzi. Nice food and friendly service.

Really good place . Nice calm atmosphere in the port. But food after 2 yers went to really average :-( We had halfboard and breakfast and dinner were not really good. We understand that to have much variety is not efficient, but would be good to have at least good quality. There is big room for improvement. Put little bit more heart into it. We misssed sourdough rolls for example for breakfast...

Located close to the lake Balaton at Sió canal. Food and rooms I’d consider it as average. The indoor pool is good also the water temperature is ok. However the roof terrace of the pool is quite dirty.

The place is big, clean and organised. We came with our RV but the rooms looked good from the outside. One side of the site has a new nice toilet and shower, the other side is a bit outdated. There is a big swimming pool, but it's hard to access it because it's high over ground, there is also a toddler pool but there is not much place to sit around it. In general, the place is nice but looking back...

If you want all the comfort, then it’s a good place: they even have a swimming pool, entertainments, supermarket, shops… But it’s not calm, it’s quite crowded, so for me, the person who loves nature, it’s just a touristic overpriced place. 32€ for 2 people camping in our own tent - I find it expensive, even though the toilets and showers are included. I guess it’s a question of the taste. Not a place...

Stayed 2 nights in the happy camp cabins...lovely staff so friendly and helpful. Good acess to lake and numerous facilities. Would happily stay again

The view staining..For sleeping ok... kind staff but the food tastless.

A typical large campsite with multiple serviceable restaurants, some lake frontage suitable for swimming, and decent facilities.

Very warm welcome upon our arrival, staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was more than good for a 3-star hotel, a pleasant surprise. The rooms are far too small, and the shower room and toilet area are unappealing. The carpet on the walkway is torn everywhere. With a few small investments, some things could be improved. Stayed from January 13th to 16th.

The location was perfect. The view was perfect. The breakfast was okay (but quality price perfect). I also was there at new years. I didn't like the room service because they didn't change the sheets, they just folded them.

No kettle, no hairdryer, and no heating. However, the front desk was incredibly helpful with the first two. The weather in Hungary was quite pleasant, though I just wanted to dry my clothes a bit. The breakfast was delicious and, surprisingly, a buffet!

Very good. Delicious breakfasts. Small, cozy cabins. En-suite bathroom.

This is a very distinctive hotel with a great breakfast, friendly reception, and convenient transportation. I recommend it to everyone.

Staying on a boat hotel is different and fun. This one was in a prime location, diagonally across from the Parliament buildings. Our cabin was small but comfortable, with padded, fabric-covered walls for a cozy feeling and good sound insulation. We enjoyed walking the upper deck at night, watching the moon rise over the bridge. The breakfast room was nicely situated to take advantage of the river view...

The location was great. You can see the Hungarian parliament building and it’s great at night to watch from the deck. Margaret Island is also nearby as well as the Thermal baths. Room was bigger than I thought it would be but hard to have 2 suitcases open. The bathroom was very small and the shower curtain will stick on your body. Not suitable for a bigger person. There is a mini fridge in the room...

We spent a weekend at this hotel and really enjoyed the unique experience of sleeping on a boat. The view over the river, Margaret Bridge, and the Parliament building was beautiful. The room was on the smaller side, but comfortable and sufficient, and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of continental options. Amazing experience! Super location directly across the parliament building! Rich breakfast included! I think there is no hotel in all of Budapest which offers the same view. The boat itself is from the 1950s and used to do routes up and down the Danube river.

Having stayed here in November 2022, I got disappointed this time: smell in the boat ( fortunately not in the room so much), old and with the sense of abandonment, no separate shower cabinet in the bathroom (we were trying to find a way to dry the floor in order to step to the toilet), typical to poor breakfast buffet

Everywhere clean and calm at this time. Friendly attitude of the staff. Working services despite the beginning of the season. Perfect for cycling. It's just a pity that the spa, which is next to the campsite, is not working. I've been to this camp about 15 years ago and I'm glad it keeps getting better. Thank you, we will come again

The apartment itself might even stand out in a crowd, but its cleanliness and equipment were not entirely consistent with the offer, and unfortunately the price was too high for the offer.

Beautiful and well-equipped apartment with a view of Lake Balaton. I recommend it for families with children...

We re-visited this hotel again in August. The staff was nice and this time our room was in the main building. We enjoyed this room much better that staying in the new wing in June.

We stayed at Tihany Yacht Club two nights in June. The staff was nice, parking was easy. Our room was very clean, facing Lake Balaton. Breakfast was OK but be prepared if you to go after 9:30, there is hardly anything left...

The room was lovely, nice, big and clean. The food was good but a limited choice. Private secured parking, superb WiFi and an absolutely fantastic location with friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful by day, listening to the waves roll onto the rocks and atmospheric at night with the lighting around the area. Lovely big area for the dog too!

I really liked the location. Room was small but comfy, moderen and clean. Bed very good.

I had a great stay there. It was clean, modern, and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable visit. The location was excellent.The host was friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

A good campsite. This resort has two pools with thermal water. Is to spend the night here, at least, returning from vacation. Competitive prices the apartments.

We came to this hostel after being scammed in another one. They listened to us and they were very kind to us, it is a very warm place, and it is in very good conditions, besides it is very well located to walk around the center of Budapest, impeccable place. Its owners and staff of great warmth and heart, recommended 1000%!

It was very nice place, warm and cozy, staff were really nice to make it easy to me for staying there even that I had to arrive late night and thet provided everything to make it smoth, as access, maked bed with may name and even a map to find my room. Clever guys! Thanks 🙏

This Hostel is a very cozy and clean place with a cute charme. I felt very comfortable, the owner and stuff are very friendly and it was easy to meet other people as a solo traveler. It's perfect to have a calm time but also to meet others to go out later. Definitely will come back to this nice place and stay longer!

Clean and Friendly, But Very Noisy The naturist camp is nice, some shady spots as well. Infrastructure is clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly and helpful with all issues. The beach (just one access via platform) is clean, very flat (as the whole of Balaton). Downside: VERY noisy - frequent trains and announcements from station speaker, trains run all night! Great location, direct access to the lake. Great scenery. Good facilities; always hot water at the showers. Clean bathrooms. The camping is clean and well maintained. It's quiet and relaxing. Free sunbeds. We stayed in a SUN COOL mobile home; it had everything we needed: kitchen fully equipped, shower, bathroom etc.

Its cool place. But I was so relaxed that I forgot my things there.

Amazing place amazing views very chilled. Although .. the guy at the entrance asked to me to keep my ID until i check out... I doubt this practice is even legal so now i m walking around without an ID lol ... But anyways i didnt have any other option ... the security doesnt speak a word of english and he doesnt even know the price of my stay ... It is a bit unfortunate this to happen . A very diverse camping place with very nice restaurant, amenities and shallow waters really good to swim. The place is also well accessible with both private and public means. The staff are very friendly and the prices are pocket friendly as well. Will surely be going there many more times.

A great place to spend a week there or two. The staff is nice, the quality of accommodation varies but it's mostly OK and the facilities are OK too. I would normally give this campsite 4 stars but as there are too few naturist campsites and/or beaches in the area I've decided to overlook some smaller shortcomings and I'm giving them 5 stars. :)
