Apartments in Iceland

I was pleasantly surprised.  The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Reykjavik.  It is within walking distance  to shops and restaurants.  The transportation service to airport was added benefit.  I highly recommend this hotel 

This hotel had the nicest staff I encountered during my trip. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and very professional. Their warm attitude made me feel comfortable and cared for. I really loved staying here and would happily come back again.

We were really pleased with our stay here both times we've visited. Julia, Victoria and the staff there were unfailingly polite and helpful. The building we stayed in was well appointed and super convenient to everything we wanted to do. The only challenge here is parking, but it's possible if you pay attention. Plan ahead if you have folks in your party who have accessibility concerns.

Amazingly convenient and well-stocked apartment. Nice and warm and close to everything. Only thing - TV is old. But then again, most hotels' TVs are. Also a bit of street noise - but there's not too much traffic so not terrible. Close to airport bus stop (about 5 mins walk) so we loved it.

Very nice roomy and comfortable apartment near everything in the downtown area. We had the 1 bedroom on the 3rd floor, the space was roomy, had a comfortable bed and dishes for 3 to 4. The shower doors were a bit hinky, but work well once you figure them out. Great location however if you have gear to carry, it’s a bit of a walk from the closest bus stop and there is NO elevator. We were on the 4th floor and had a lot of gear. Very basic, no coffee and the shower doors were weird. Floors guaranteed to get wet. One towel for your stay. But is a good location to shops and restaurants.

This is not your traditional hotel as it sits on the 9th floor (top) of an office building. To check-in, you receive emailed instructions and once on the top floor, you're met by hotel staff. Wonderful place to stay! We were able to check in earlier which was great since our flight landed very early in the morning. The views were spectacular and the room was very clean and quiet space. We stayed at Tower Suites Reykjavik for five nights and had a wonderful experience. We were on the 20th floor and the view over the city was absolutely stunning. I think you should make it clear that it’s not a hotel but more like rooms on a top floor of an office building just to set expectations up front

I stayed only one night but place was really wonderful. The room was very clean and lots of cooking tools are prepared. Of course salts, pepper, oil is in the house. Evrything was good except that apartment had a strong fishy smell that just wouldnt air out in the 3 days we stayed there.

It's OK The room was large and nice accoring to the decription. There was actually everything available what you need. The location (in case you have a car) and environment is great (parking, gym, foodstire etc.). There are just a few things which should be maintained and fixed. Access to laundry was a nice convenience. Self-check in was simple. Only minor inconvenience was the mini fridge didn't have a freezer section.

I chose this property for the washer dryer. It was a disaster. The circuit kept tripping. Had to make a call. There’s only one set for the whole floor and the dryer never did dry the clothes. I had to hang my clothes all over the apartment. The shower and sink drains were clogged and the night light switch was broken next to bed. Also only one sleeping pillow per person.

Modern apartment near a grocery store and bakery. The unit itself was clean but lacked some amenities. There were no black out curtains so it was bright at night. The shower basin was too small and you had to shut the shower off several times to let it drain so it wouldn’t flood the floor.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! It had a private hot tub as advertised which was wonderful. We saw the Northern lights every night we were here. No tours needed, just look out your window. It was appointed with a kitchen which we used on several occasions to get a break from the food prices lol. Overall a 10 star from me.

This was our favorite place that we stayed in Iceland. Private hot tub overlooking a beautiful vista. Very comfortable and modern. It was compact, but very nicely appointed. The northern lights alluded us, but this would be a great place to see them. Less than a ten minute easy drive into town.

Great location with awesome view! We had the 3 bedroom apartment which was perfect for our family of 5. Very clean and modern space with fantastic bathroom, kitchen and living space. We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning.

We stayed at the Diamond Suites for 3 nights, and it was the best. Breakfast is abundant, rooms are super clean and stylish, the staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located fairly close to the airport (8-minute drive) and only 10 minutes from the Blue Lagoon. Our family had an excellent time.

My now fiancée and I had a wonderful experience at the Diamond Suites! My fiancée proposed the week before we got there and I wanted to surprise him with a little something, so I emailed customer service and they upgraded our stay! It made our celebration even more special. The room was so clean and beautiful we will never forget it.

Outstanding stay in a superb hotel, where we preferred to stay after a long day’s travel. Wonderful receptionist took great care of us with room upgrade and early check in. Bar menu extraordinary. Meals were good. Amenities top of the line.

We were upgraded to the very unique suite area and immediately took advantage of the extra space outside of the room when my husband needed a quick nap. The bathroom was also fun with a heated toilet seat and multiple lighting options for the tub. We also enjoyed in the surround sound so we could listen to music while we relaxed!

Apartment was great, as was the location. Only two minor adjustments I would make personally - put felt pads on all the furniture, this will reduce noise for the apartment below. Second is the shower, place a bracket at an angle for the hand held sprayer so it doesn’t just spray you vertically!

Good, well equipped facility in an excellent location. Good, courteous staff. Only downside is location works against you at weekends late at night with street noise (unless you're one of them of course), so perhaps not best for young families. Recommended.

Beautiful venue, would highly recommend. Had been doing the ring road in a van that would last couple of days was so wonderful to come into such a cleanup, aesthetic, and calm environment to spend the night again. Originally we did not receive the code for the floor door, but the help we received was good. The room itself was very neat and tidy, and had all the equipments we need to make our stay comfortable. There is a bonus 5 mins walk away if you need anything and the location of the hotel is ideal.

The apartment had everything although there is questionable staining above the one window and lots of moisture around the window. This is not a 5 star accommodation as in luxury etc. But it by no means deserved a 4 star review , so I had to give it 5. Lovely and cosy and clean. Very very helpful and friendly staff. We also had the breakfast basket added and it was fantastic, such a lovely treat every day. Would highly recommended both for couples and especially for families.

We absolutely loved our apartment which had a separate double bedroom and twin beds in the living area. Having a sofa, kitchen and dining table was lovely - it felt like being at home. the breakfast baskets delivered to our door were very generous and good quality. The kids loved having a PlayStation! Wonderful location just off the center of the city. Comfortable and clean apartment. Felt very safe for a solo traveler. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave. I didn’t use the other appliances. Bed was comfy and shower was fantastic. Host communication was excellent. Convenient luggage storage if you get in early, or if you are leaving the city well after check out.

It offers great value for money, is located in the city center, and is very close to other places; the cathedral is just up a hill away.

Spend a weekend in Reykjavik! A weekend was the perfect amount of time to explore the city of Reykjavik. We found a great tour about the local lore and a couple of museums about Icelandic history.

The Aldan restaurant serves as the headquarters for the 3-house hotel. Neat and clean, the restaurant is staffed by beautiful Nordic goddesses who are as friendly and cheerful as they are helpful. Great stay. Very convenient and close to all activities. Parking can be a hassle as there is no dedicated spot - people living around the building seem a bit testy about renters. Our entry code was sent to us ahead of time but was not ‘initiated’ so did not work - had to call and get a new one impromptu. A bit unexpected.

We were nine women traveling together, and the apartment was spacious with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. There was plenty of space and all necessary kitchen equipment was available. It’s located right in the city center, within walking distance to most places. Unfortunately, there was some dampness in the rooms. They had an ok kitchen but no cork screw, no colander. A really large bathroom but the sink was very, very small - so weird. Beds comfortable. Power went out for awhile but someone came and they were able to restore it. We had booked in error the day before and switched it but they refused to give us a refund for that night. It was 6 months before the visit so they totally could have sold it again...

The room was correct, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was basically equipped but enough for our needs. Now, to the downsides, the bathroom drainage was not working well, so the whole bathroom was flooded after a shower. What was even worse was the lack of warm water. Its an older building but clean and comfortable inside. The check in is a bit confusing. It tells you to call a number to get the code for the door but they didn’t answer for quite awhile. One of the best accommodations we have in our trip. Place was really clean inside and 2 large lobby room served as a way for us to play games and eat food with while family. Best part is we were the only ones for the 3 nights we stayed. Highly recommend this place for big family.
