Overall, the hotel is nice, though the location is a bit out of the way, nestled within a residential area. There's a shuttle service to Ubud center every two hours; you have to wait at a designated spot, and the traffic can be quite heavy. The environment is excellent, with expansive forests.

This was by far my favorite hotel in Bali. It's nestled deep within the rainforest, with private villas, each boasting its own pool. The service was excellent. The hotel is very spacious and beautifully designed. The rooms are well-distanced from each other, which effectively minimizes noise. The coffee was excellent, rich and smooth without any sourness. We even bought the same coffee beans from the hotel before checking out.

Staying here felt like living in a rainforest. The drinks at the pool bar were also quite good. They'll give you an iced latte with breakfast, but it's chargeable during afternoon tea. I left a small tip, and the towels were folded beautifully, but on the last day, despite more towels being provided, they weren't folded. Perhaps they were a bit busy. Overall, it was a good stay.

Everything was perfect; it was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It's rare to find such a beautiful hotel at such a good price in China. The food was also very reasonably priced; I stayed in the hotel for three days straight.

The hotel is located in a rather remote area, with few surrounding amenities and limited facilities. The food and service are mediocre. It's vastly different from the Hoshinoya Kyoto I stayed at before.

Nice service with Japanese hospitality

I was very satisfied with this stay. The hotel is located in the tropical rainforest of Ubud. The rooms are all stand-alone villas, which are quiet and private. It is an old Japanese hotel that retains many Japanese characteristics. There is no TV in the room. The main feature is to allow guests to immerse themselves in nature and relax on vacation.

There is no private swimming pool, it is public, which is a bit of a disadvantage

I stayed at a private pool villa that was undergoing renovation, so I got a great deal! Even though it's Ubud with lots of ants and mosquitoes, the service was so friendly and they responded immediately to every request, making for a very comfortable stay!

The a la carte breakfast is perfect, the room and the swimming pool are in good condition, the hotel is a little off-site, the only thing I am not satisfied with is that the hygiene details are not in place. There was a problem during the stay, and Ctrip followed up and solved the problem in time. The relevant staff of Ctrip are very responsible in this regard.

The hotel is expansive and situated by the river, comprising entirely of private pool villas. The villas themselves are very spacious. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is a bit far from the airport, about an hour's drive. I would definitely come back again.

Have been to this special place a few times already, has been extraordinary and superb every time. Own villa with pool, quiet and peaceful, exceptional service 24/7, breakfast without timelimit (great regarding jetlag), amazing massages, free shuttle to Ubud Center. Would recommend it 100%.

This trip to Bali, my focus was on Ubud. I didn't plan much, just wanted to quietly enjoy some leisure time in the tropical rainforest. The hotel service was great; both my kids and the elderly loved it.
