Wow this hotel exceeded our expectations. The land it sits on is huge, it has rice fields a coffee shop 3 pools yoga studio and jungle bridge trek. Definitely worth staying here, food and staff were extremely friendly and helpful and just a short ride to ubud centre. Hands down one of the best hotels we have stayed at, we will be back.

The pictures and words does not do it justice. This place was a heaven away from the bustle of the city. Set back in rice fields with all the amenities one needs for a relaxing stay. The staff were really caring and made sure I was comfortable. I had a downstairs room overlooking the rice field but changed to upstairs which they did without a fuss. It is a beautiful hotel, I wanted to stay longer! It was set up like a true jungle with its oan rice field as well. You literally get lost in the resort! The pools in the middle of orchids and exotic flowers are amazing. You almost feel the spirit of Ubud! On the downside: bathrooms really need an update, breakfast has few European options

We visited Ananda Ubud Resort for a dinner and it was trully an amazing experience. We ordered Grilled Fish Dabu Dabu as recommended by the waiter and it was exactly as how she described. Definitely come back again to enjoy their legendary hospitality in September 2025.

Peace and tranquillity as well as beauty and home-style confort is what you get at this hotel. The lush green of the rice paddies surrounding the cottages is is just beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful and the overall ambience of the place is very serene.

Ananda was the perfect base for me in Ubud. Set in rice fields, large grounds with beautiful nature, 3 pools. Close to some great restaurants and massage places. Walk through rice fields to get to Intuitive Flow Yoga and Yellow Flower cafe. Great helpful staff - especially Sudiasa who tended my room and washing with great care. I stayed solo and kept extending my stay it was so convenient.

The resort includes rooms and villas spread across a stunningly landscaped property. The main entrance is on Jalan Monkey Forest but I believe the less expensive rooms are near Jalan Bisma; check before you arrive as it's a hike involving a ravine between the two gates. Conveniently located in Ubud with lots of eateries nearby. Room was basic but clean and sufficient.

The hotel's breakfast tasted alright, but the variety was very limited and it was à la carte only. The environment was decent and quite spacious, but there's no elevator. If you're staying in one of the rooms further inside, you'll have to walk quite a distance.

The room was not totally clean. The floor was sticky. The shower head broke, water barely came out. Lucky the heater is working. The aircond was not fully cold, the position I think is not suitable for the room setup.

Wonderful location to seemingly be in a quiet place whilst still being in the centre of ubud. Outstanding service all around with every staff member ensuring that you have the best stay possible. The hotel is quite large and really makes you feel like you're living in nature. There are a few popular restaurants nearby, all within walking distance, which is super convenient. You can also book many activities through them; we booked a massage, yoga, and a scrub. The ecosystem is great, so there were quite a few bugs, which took some getting used to at first. The room was fantastic and, for the first time in Bali, gave me that 'close to nature' feeling advertised. However, it was a bit *too* close to nature. The bathroom door opens directly into the courtyard, so there might be other animals around. This could be a deal-breaker for some.

Strategic location, comfortable and friendly staff

All the staff were lovely Construction next door was constant from 7:29am-7.42pm each day. To make matters worse they had some banal Latin party upstairs blasting through the hotel until 11:15pm. This is not the quiet room I booked. Please invest in rat traps.

Honestly the hotel location is extremely good. However the renovation beside this hotel is extremely disturbing. You can't take rest on lunch time because the worker work loudly until around 5 p.m. the bathroom shower place is too small also.

Excellent value for money, and the location is superb and very safe. It's perfect for solo travelers or couples on a budget. This is my second stay at MAXONE, and the welcome drink is absolutely delicious too!

My first stop in Bali was Ubud, and this hotel is very close to Ubud Palace. There's also a famous restaurant nearby, called 'Jenjen Restaurant', which serves good food at reasonable prices. The only downside was that it rained continuously for the two days I stayed, making the room feel a bit damp. Other than that, everything was great, and I really loved the style of the hotel's restaurant.

Wonderful stay at Adiwana. I normally stay at other resorts in Ubud which are more spacious but a little further away / shuttle from main town. It was good place just restaurant was expensive. And for pool sometimes they dont have enough lounge chair because of this you cannot put your stuff.

I love this place!! It is my favourite place to stay in Ubud. The rooms, the service, the pools and the staff are all excellent. I have recommended this place many times to friends and family and it never disappoints. It is set back from the hustle and bustle of Ubud traffic but it is also close to the Monkey Forest, shops, restaurants and temples offering traditional performances.

This is hands down the most beautiful place I have ever stayed at on a vacation! The bamboo huts are so cozy and comfortable. The staff is extremely cheerful and helpful. If I visit Ubud again, I know exactly where to stay. 10/10 recommended! ❣️

Personally we love our rooms. Even if the shower is outdoor, we do not have issues with mosquitos or insects. I loved my stay at Dwaraka Royal Villas. It is absolutely beautiful, the style is perfect. We had five lovely days in Ubud in Pramana Watu Kurung. I booked it for the opening in 2021, so I thought I’d stay far away. I rented a motorcycle anyway, but the furniture is very old and feels like it has seen better days. I don’t know why, but it’s full of potholes. This is a shame, but everything else is pretty good.

The villa is quite rustic, giving it a secluded, idyllic feel. However, there are a lot of mosquitoes in Bali, so there's nothing you can do about it. The owner lights mosquito coils in the common areas every day in advance. The picture shows the owner's little black cat; it's very cute.

Our stay was fantastic. The experience living in the villa where the bottom floor was open to nature with a private pool, and top floor was more private with massage tables right on the balcony. The property was well maintained and I liked how the rooms and villas were situated on the property offering privacy for each villa. The staff were readily available and always were willing to help although stayed discreetly away until needed.
