Ubud, Jalan Kelabang Moding, Banjar Bentuyung (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
I booked this hotel through a solo trip in Ubud; it's a bit far from the center. The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the room was beautiful. I specifically booked a hammock room, which was perfect for taking photos.
Generally speaking, Ubud is more than 1500
The hotel has a rustic, luxurious feel, but the room wasn't what I'd imagined. The bed opens directly onto the door, so the space isn't very spacious. However, the toilet, washroom, and shower are spacious, and the semi-open-air shower is quite unique. The hotel is located mid-mountain, a bit out of the city. A shuttle bus runs regularly, making it convenient, but Ubud is plagued by traffic, making...
The hotel's overall aesthetic is a European and American luxury, with every detail embodying a pristine yet refined aesthetic. The room with a pool we stayed in was truly unique, and simply relaxing in the courtyard was truly relaxing. The service was the best I've experienced in Bali so far, with each waiter being incredibly down-to-earth and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, even distinctly...
Very beautiful hotel, the staff's service is super good. Knowing that we are afraid of geckos, they specially changed the room type with a fully enclosed bathroom. Thank you.
We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Karma. Beautiful location, a nice room next to the ricefield. Breakfast was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The centre of Ubud was not far away. Definitely recommend staying here if you are going to Ubud.

Nice staff and good swimming pool. Good breakfast.
Room was soggy at first. Smell of mold made me hard to sleep at first night.
So I turned on AC all day, although I could smell of mold sometimes, but most of time I was okay.
View from room was good, felt like I am in the jungle.
This hotel is little far to walk to everywhere(hot weather, so 10-20mins more walk is huge difference) but you can use...
The villa was large, clean, nice and cool. Location is picturesque, pools are gorgeous, food is delicious and staff are simply wonderful. Already booked my next stay.
The perfect contrast between jungle accomodation with in town vibes.
The place was clean but needed maintainence. For example it had Lots of walking paths out, taps were loose, sliding doors not lining up to locks.
Just small finishing touchrs would make this place great
Everything was great, thank you.
Our favorite hotel in Ubud ❤️! For a very affordable price, you get access to two Instagrammable infinity pools. The staff is super lovely! Location is 10/10. We'll definitely be back many times!
Good location, there is one convenience store nearby, some restaurants, not far from Ubud center.
However, on the first day, I just got the key room then my AC didn't work, don't they this before then I had to move to another room quite far and the cheapest one , the one I booked is pool view but I got the first floor room next to reception. I asked for refund or room rate difference compensation...

Located in a small alley about a 15-minute drive from Ubud Palace, the location isn't great, but it's incredibly peaceful. You can see the valley, the stream, and hear the chirping of insects and birds. For this price, staying at a top 100 resort recommended by YT is fantastic. Although the room facilities are a bit old, I still highly recommend it! The staff are very friendly, and there are three...
An exceptional place to stay - full to the brim of warm, welcoming, hospitable staff in every department of the hotel. Easily the best holiday experience I have ever had personally!! The history of Ulun Ubud is well worth learning about & the founders' continuation of culture & unbridled hospitality, beauty & maintenance of the grounds / buildings is apparent throughout. An absolutely first class all...
The location / view from the resort is spectacular. The service team are always very helpful. However, the rooms are very old and may need lot of maintenance since the door doesn’t lock properly, bed makes lot of noise and AC is very tiny so it took ages to cool the room.
A fantastic hotel, the environment is impeccable, beautiful.
With our friends we managed to book out 1/2 the resort for our wedding. It was an amazing experience. The resort is beautiful and the staff helped to make our week there and our wedding a truly memorable experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The restaurant food was excellent. A warning…there are a lot of steps! Get a room up high near reception if that might be an issue. A special mention...
A really lovely hotel but let down by the staff. No welcome drink when we arrived, the staff member was more interested in us paying the hotel bill straight away. No hangers in the wardrobe and when we asked the most they could give us were 3 each - no other storage for clothes, just a hanging wardrobe. The ‘minibar’ fridge is just an empty fridge. We bought a couple of drinks to enjoy however they...

I must say Jannata was by far the best hitel I have ever stayed in! Fantastic views, wonderful garden, amazing restaurant, top of the line service. If you don't love this place, we gonna have to talk :)
We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights and booked a villa with a private pool. It turned out to be an amazing, quiet, and very cozy place. Falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle or tropical rain is something really special - hard to describe, but incredibly relaxing. If you’re tired of noise and busy places, this hotel is perfect. Waking up in the morning, stepping onto the terrace, and seeing the...
This is an entirely English-speaking hotel; the menus, language, and all services are in English. So, for those not fluent, communication can be a bit challenging, but we had our secret weapon [presumably a translation app or guide]. The staff were very patient and extremely welcoming, and we absolutely loved the hotel's decor. The hotel's SPA and views are particularly renowned. It's nestled on a...
Very good service and nice, cost atmosphere.
The breakfast and tea time really make the difference.
The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery. The service is good, and the breakfast is plentiful. They also offer complimentary afternoon tea. There's a scheduled shuttle service to and from Ubud town center. Because it's nestled in the mountains, you'll encounter a lot of birds and geckos, and you might hear birds chirping at night.
The hotel is beautiful, but there's a catch: the restaurant food is very expensive and portions are tiny. There's nowhere else to eat nearby, so they're clearly banking on guests having no choice but to eat at the hotel restaurant and spend a significant amount. Also, they gave us a free ride to Ubud center and said they could pick us up too, if we called ahead. We called, and they told us the car...

The room was clean, there were no hygiene problems, everything was well-maintained, and the staff were friendly. The only problem was that the road to the room was a bit long. Thank you for everything.
The staff were very nice. Breakfast was so-so; it ended at 10:30 am, and they stopped replenishing food from then on. Once it was gone, that was it.
Ants were very difficult to keep out of the room; they were on the table and even the blankets.
I think for this price, the pest control could have been better.
It's in a quiet area, but I don't think it's very good value for money.
Although it is located a little far from the center of Ubud, it was quiet and very affordable.
The room was spacious and clean, the amenities were great, and we were able to relax on the private beach.
The environment and location are great, the breakfast is so-so, and the shower water is too dirty; you definitely need to bring a filtered showerhead.
The hotel's environment is pleasant, the pool is clean, and the service is excellent. My stay at this hotel was truly enjoyable, and the overall atmosphere was impressive. Firstly, the hotel's beautiful grounds, with well-maintained greenery, create a sense of being immersed in nature. The rooms are simple but spacious and very clean. The breakfast is great with plenty of choices. Even though the road outside is busy, you don't notice the noise at all. The staff are lovely and very attentive — always happy to help with anything, whether it’s booking a trip or carrying your luggage. The dinner was also delicious! Definitely recommend staying here.
I stayed at Byasa Ubud Hotel for 3 nights and honestly had such an amazing stay! From check-in to check-out, all the staff were super kind and helpful. They really made us feel welcome.

We had a wonderful three days. The rooms were simple, spacious, and quiet.
It rained a lot, so we stayed at the hotel for a long time, but it was comfortable. The connecting rooms on the second floor had a balcony. The view from there was amazing, and we enjoyed afternoon tea and the view of the rice fields. The food was delicious, and we could enjoy dinner at the hotel.
The staff were friendly.
We had such an amazing experience at this hotel! We arrived quite late, around 11 PM, yet the staff warmly welcomed us with refreshing ginger and lemon welcome drinks such a thoughtful gesture that instantly took away all our travel fatigue.

We loves this hotel.... Very nice room, good service, good food, good location.... Will come back again
This review is written with a touch of sarcasm for my fellow Koreans. On the second day of our trip, the water in our room stopped working completely – it was *so* good it was gone! When we called, they said it was because they were filling the hotel pool and asked for our 'kind understanding'. That was it. When we asked when it might be fixed, they said they'd try, but if we wanted updates, we should...
The accommodation was spacious and very accessible. I would definitely return.
It's also very conveniently located in downtown Ubud. I highly recommend it.
If you want a place which in the center where things happen with good natural environment, together with Baliese style architecture, this is one place you should consider.
The breakfast is super nice, you should have try in near the pool or at the library at least once during your stay.
Staffs are freindly and helpful.
The only shortfall is our room is too close to the bar next door and it got a bit...
The hotel has a very atmospheric atmosphere, and the location is excellent, close to both the temple and the monkey forest. The pool is cold, and the breakfasts weren't great—no eggs, no meat, vegetarian food... We only had banana pancakes. ))))

The hotel has a great atmosphere, showcasing Balinese cultural architectural features, and the rooms are clean and spacious. It's a bit far from the palace, so you definitely need to take a taxi. Although it's next to the Monkey Forest, that entrance is closed, so you have to go to the main entrance, which is quite a bit further.
Booking this hotel was definitely the highlight of our Bali trip! We stayed for 5 days and rented a scooter right at the hotel entrance. It was super convenient for getting around since the hotel is centrally located in Ubud. We easily rode to Lovina, Mount Batur, and the Black Sand Beach.

Good and quiet location, cozy with very nice bedding.
Delicious breakfast. There are two swimming pools.
Very friendly staff.
The hotel environment is excellent, and the service is warm and friendly. The location is quite convenient, not far from the city center. For an extra 50 yuan, you can upgrade to a floating breakfast, which really adds to the rainforest ambiance. There's also a laundry service, charged per item.
We loved staying at Villa Sonia. It’s in a great location - not in the hustle and bustle of all the shops, but close enough to get there in 10-15 minutes. I came to Ubud Aura Center for the floating sound meditation and ended up getting so much more. From check-in, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—Saree especially stood out.

A unique hotel, but unfortunately worn out. I have stayed here many times even before the pandemic, now everything is minimal - there is no transfer to the center, no bonuses for regular customers. The staff were all nice and very helpful. Was about 15 minutes drive from the centre of Ubud which I liked because it made it very quiet and peaceful. Room was big and spacious had a nice view from my balcony looking over the rice fields and for the price you can’t go wrong. Would definitely stay here again
It was a very pleasant stay overall. The location is away from the crowd centre, i can feel the peace and quiet when I am here. The staff are very friendly, food price is very reasonable and yummy. Will definitely come back again and recommended 100%
Staff are lovely, really great place to relax or a good base to explore Ubud
The room was clean and tidy, with tasteful decor. The view from the room overlooked rice paddies and a volcano! The room itself was quite spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was beautiful and clean, and the food at the hotel restaurant was also very good!

Very relaxed accomodation. We were very well looked after by everyone attending us. The pool was the highlight for me. It’s located out of central Ubud, but with access to many restaurants, day spas, and other activities. It was much quieter than closer into Ubud.
We spend 5 days here, and it was just perfect. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable, the pool was nice and the landscape is amazing. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, they always drop us by motorbike to the main road. Thank you so much!
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The view of the rice fields is incredibly comforting, such a peaceful and grounding place to stay. The swimming pool is beautiful, very well maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day out.
We loved how quiet the property is, it’s a perfect escape from the busyness of central Ubud, but still close enough that you can get there easily by motorbike...
Great little place to stay, not too far from ubud city centre (approx 15 minutes on grab bikes) to ubud centre. Rooms are spacious, with AC and daily cleaning is offered which was lovely. The staff are super nice and easy to communicate with. I only gave it 4 stars because I had ants in my omelette and only ordered fruit + juice every morning which was fresh.
Our first hotel and the most romantic; we've never seen a view like this anywhere else. The pool is gorgeous, overlooking the cliff and towering palm trees. The birdsong from early morning is simply stunning. Of course, the rooster was screaming, but earplugs helped. The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable; we booked a room with a kitchenette. The bed was luxurious and large, with plenty of pillows...

A hotel that does its best regardless of who or how many guests are staying. Top satisfaction. Convenience store right out front. The main street in front of the Royal Palace is just a short walk away. Highly recommended.
A small, cozy hotel in the center of Ubud. Even though all the main attractions and amenities are within walking distance, the hotel is very quiet and peaceful, as if you're in a tropical forest. Beautiful grounds, spacious rooms with balconies or terraces, bathtubs, and showers. There's a nice pool and friendly, yet unobtrusive, service.

Good location, convenient for shopping and dining. Highly cost-effective overall

Beautiful quiet place in Ubud.
The hotel looks just like the pictures. There are two small pools on the property with sun loungers. The dining area is outdoors. Monkeys roam the grounds, so you need to keep your room doors closed; they might come in and take things. The staff are very friendly.
We didn't particularly enjoy the service, but overall the receptionist was very polite and even carried our suitcases up to our room. Even though they saw we were traveling with a small child and a stroller, they gave us a room on the second floor. We didn't eat breakfast. I can't say anything about it. The rice field is completely unkempt.
The hotel needs a bit of freshen up, there are few socket in the room. Comfy beds
We loved our stay at this quiet hotel. The room was nice and big, comfy bed/pillows, and relaxing atmosphere. The only downfall is the strong odour in our room, very musty/moldy smell. We found a large amount of mould behind the bathroom door. The hotel needs to get this cleaned up as it’s a major health concern.
Clean and quiet, it felt like we were the only ones in the entire department. The two deep pools were decent, the breakfasts were modest, but overall, everything was fine.

Venue very hard to make contact with as has recently changed ownership as email / phone numbers not in service. My friend and I stayed at this hotel for three days. We really liked the hotel; it has a beautiful setting and several swimming pools. The girls at reception are friendly and helpful. The room is cleaned daily, and the food is delicious. Thank you!!!
Overall beautiful place , beautiful people /staff and amazing jungle like grounds well kept amazing pools and surroundings . In Hawaii this place would be easily around $800.00 a night .
The staff is very friendly and did everything to make us comfortable.
But the room was not the best, as the walls were old, the furniture stank, the shower was open to the street, maybe it looks authentic somehow, but it was not very cozy.

Wonderful atmosphere and fantastic staff! The room was quite dark but comfortable =)
I had a mixed experience during my stay at Outpost. The staff were absolutely wonderful—very responsive and helpful. The front lobby and grounds were well maintained, and the pool was a nice touch.
However, the room itself was a bit dated. The bathroom tiles felt a bit worn, and the linens were overused, which affected the overall comfort. I ended up buying my own towels to use during my stay. It was...

Ubud, Jl. Dewi Sita, 80571 Ubud, Indonesia (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Location - good, as it walking distance to everything local. Atmosphere - No atmosphere, mostly tourists staying there were above 60 yrs age bracket. Room - poor quality as bed making noise when you turn on the side. may be springs were loose or something. Overall, it was uncomfortable as well as the shower area. no other area to take shower other than in the bathtub which was risky. Value - yes,...

Very nice hotel with friendly staff
Beautiful rooms in a peaceful location and the most attentive staff. We have a lovely stay here while in Ubud - perfect location for restaurants, bars and the central Water Temple and Palace. The service is particularly excellent - would highly recommend
Stayed for 5 nights, very pleased with everything. Roome clean and beds comfy, pool and restaurant was good. Staff was excellent, from reception to housekeeping to restaurant. They even arranged a romatic breakfast set up on our private balcony to celebrate our anniversary.
