This resort was the perfect start to our time in Bali. It’s right in the center of Ubud but feels like its own oasis and is very quiet. We really liked the excellent breakfast with a combination of a la carte and buffet. The pool is super nice with amazingly comfortable loungers and a bar for drinks.

Although the hotel is located next to the main road, the inside of the hotel feels very peaceful and calm, like a jungle. However, the room lighting was slightly insufficient, and the room felt a bit dark for my preference.

Hotel in downtown Ubud, chosen for the location but exceeded expectations. Off main busy street but seclusion and tranquility as soon as you step in. Rooms were spacious, and all Individual buildings nestled into greenery. Traditional design and have a good Indonesian feel with comfort designed in. A little gem of a hotel and would highly recommend.

Traffic in Ubud is awful, but the two story two bedroom family unit is perfect for a family with 2 kids.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I encountered several issues. There were bed bugs in the room, the hot water in the shower did not function properly, and the shampoo and body wash were diluted with water. However, the hotel staff was friendly and willing to assist. The primary concern was the lack of cleanliness.

Liked our stay in the hotel, only issue was that the breakfast was not a buffet still it was not bad. just need to be careful about Monkey's coming over to the room as it's very close to the Monkey Forest.

This resort was full of surprises and surpassed my expectations. I booked the room without a private pool because I wasn’t planning on staying at the resort for much of the day. We had planned to go out during our stay there. But the hotel gave us a free upgrade! What a pleasant surprise! I was happy to see wonder rice terrace from there. And it was good weather. They are very warm friendly welcome. I suggest to take photo shooting service. But there were just two of unhappy things. Our private pool was terrible. It was messy and water was dirty. I think it was not working water filter. Another thing was the basket of bread for breakfast was dirty by reuses.

We enjoyed our stay! Sorrounded by green, away from the noise despite we were very close to the main street. Some adjustment could be done but we can't complain for the price we payed. Of course there are animals but is something we knew choosing a facility into the nature. People are nice and good laundry service!

I've been staying at Agung Raka in Ubud since about 1996. I've stayed at a few other hotels, but the spaciousness of the grounds, the openness, and the Balinese feel of the bungalows are exquisite. The owner has changed and so have the staff, but the new pool is great. The breakfast is much tastier than before! First stay during our trip in Bali & Islands. The staff was nice as they left a plate of fresh fruits for us due to our late arrival. When you open the curtains on the veranda, the inside is visible, and when you close them, it's too dark. The bathroom isn't clean either; the cleanliness is poor for the price. Also, there's absolutely no soundproofing. The location is good, though.

We went to Kajane Yangloni to Ubud and it was the perfect choice. Staff was friendly, kind, and welcoming. They surprised us with a “happy honeymoon” decoration which was memorable.  Location was also great, not too far from the Ubud market centre but also in a more quieter place. Amenities like hairdryer, shower and lotion were given. Some of the design is outdated but not a problem for us.

Excellent service, great breakfast choice and to top it all up a shuttle service to ubud center whenever you want between 7am and 10.30. They will pick amd drop when asked. Wonderful hotel not too far from the city, but still far enough to get peace and quiet. The nature with the small rice field and surrounding greenery is simply magical. Super friendly staff, excellent service. We stayed in one of the villas for eight nights and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Argasoka bungalows is in a central location in Ubud, Jl monkey forest isn’t as busy as Jl Hanoman so it’s good if you want a quieter street. The staff at the facilities are the most beautiful humans and the pool is stunning. There are monkeys that also float around but the staff are pretty good at keeping them at bay and they’re so cute. No need to go to monkey forest when they’re in your back yard...

Exhausted from the journey, I couldn't make any arrangements. They said the room wasn't fully cleaned and I couldn't check in until after 2 PM. The bathroom was dirty; the door had a latch lock that wouldn't close; The middle section of the bed was sagging, and the blankets smelled musty. The wardrobe and doors were dusty.

We didn’t stay at the villa but ate there most nights. The food and service is out standing for both breakfast and dinner. Cheaper than in Ubud, and if you’re staying in any of the villas around the area I’d recommend visiting for a meal.

This stay was a mixed bag of likes and disappointments. The private pool villa had a fantastic pool, really clean and lovely. It was spacious and a nice big bed, good working fridge to keep drinks cold. However, attention to detail not their strength. Solo Villas has a great location - a short walk (or taxi bike) up a small road from the water palace, it's close to lots of restaurants and shops in Ubud, but I a quiet peaceful spot. It's a very small room, literally 3 by 3 meters, no closet or hanger, my things were on the floor. No hot water. There is no shelf in the bathroom to put your toiletries. The floor under the bed was dirty. You can hear the noise of a tractor, monotonous sounds from the temple and the croaking of frogs. But the view from the window is wonderful.

Initially booked a room with a closet, upon arrival they gave me a new fresh room without a closet and no space to turn around. I asked for a room with a closet and as spacious as in the photo, but it turned out that the walls were stained, the closet door had rotted and come off, and the closet itself was in terrible condition and stinks, there were stains from some kind of water on the walls. The staff is very friendly, just know you have to walk down a sidewalk past another building to get there. It is navigable with a motorbike but not by car.

I didn't expect that the hotel has a beautiful pastoral view. It's rare to see it from the terrace. There are also many restaurants nearby with delicious food. I will stay here again next time.

What a great boutique hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. Location was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. They also provided transport to Airport. They also help you with tours as well. I will definitely will stay again at this hotel.

My partner booked a room here coz of the nice bathroom-- and it did not disappoint! Love the location (central but quiet), spacious room (the aircon could be a bit noisy), nice pool (the water's too cold though but you'll get used to it), helpful & kind staff. There are also nice restos beside it and within walking distance. I just wish the light in the room is a bit brighter. Hope they can also...

Lovely little boutique accommodation with the most beautiful staff, so friendly and helpful. Large, comfy bed and good bathroom and AC. Nice pool. Everything spotlessly clean. Very convenient location, close to everything but quiet - except for the rooster next door but hey, this is Bali and nothing a set of earplugs can’t fix! No breakfast served but there is an amazing Ayurvedic restaurant downstairs...

The rooms are very clean and new and had a great shower and bathroom. Great location with 1 mins walk to the Main Street and hustle and bustle but the hotel is quiet. Staff very nice and friendly (both housekeeping and front desk). Although they don’t provide breakfast but Usada cafe downstairs has great food.

I loved our stay at this hotel. We booked for one night. Ended up staying for a week. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. Always available. 24/7 reception. The rooms are beautiful, clean, AC, good WiFi and pool included. Good value for the service. They are always making recommendations for activities to do during your stay.
