It was the last day of the season so most services are not shutdown. But they upgrade the room which was nice

Recent stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott Giardini Naxos was quite disappointing. The location is far from the main tourist area, making it inconvenient for sightseeing, dining, and exploring.
We were two travelers, and unfortunately, one of us became violently ill within an hour of eating at the poolside restaurant/bar. This forced us to extend our stay while recovering. Despite the circumstances, the hotel staff showed little concern or flexibility. They denied any connection between the illness and the food, instead claiming it was “an illness going around,” which was clearly untrue since the other guest was completely fine.
As Marriott Bonvoy members, we were also disappointed by the lack of support. When extending our stay, we were quoted “discounted” Bonvoy rates that were actually higher than what was available through other booking sites. The staff’s dismissive and unhelpful attitude made a difficult situation even worse.
The amenities were equally underwhelming. The pool was far too cold to enjoy — no one was swimming, and anyone who tried quickly left. The gym was small, with limited equipment, and several machines were dated or worn.
Overall, this property feels underwhelming for the price and does not live up to the standards typically expected from a Delta Marriott or Bonvoy hotel. I would not recommend staying here if you want to be near the livelier parts of town or expect friendly, professional service consistent with the Marriott brand.

Yes ocean was visible. I didn’t use the spa as services were costly. The hotel was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful however the rooms are in need of an update.

Review of the Delta Hotel in Giardini-Naxos (⭐⭐⭐⭐)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4 out of 5 stars)
A very good hotel with consistently friendly and attentive service – from the breakfast staff to the housekeeping staff, you feel completely well taken care of. The hotel offers a solid standard that is absolutely impressive, especially compared to other still affordable hotels in Giardini-Naxos and the surrounding area.
Even though the room rate isn't exactly a bargain, I find it quite justified in the overall package. Anyone who values comfort and service won't be disappointed here. I will definitely come back!
One minor drawback is the parking – it's located a bit out of the way and, at €18 per day, not exactly cheap, but still reasonable and manageable. The food in the hotel restaurant is in the higher price range, but there are many alternatives nearby that are also very good.
I highly recommend a room with a view – the view is truly beautiful and well worth the extra cost. The beach directly in front of the hotel is stony and drops off quickly. If you have sensitive feet, you should definitely bring water shoes – also to make getting out of the water easier.
Overall, a very pleasant stay with a great view, good amenities, and memorable service.

I have to say this hotel is beyond my expectation. Alex at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. He is so experienced and provided a memorable stay for me! Also, Lizabeth at the breakfast was so lovely and good service…great smile in morning…thank you for an amazing time with the view to die for! And incredible beach and unforgettable ocean!

From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel very welcome. The staff are very friendly and always greet you with a smile. The breakfast was amazing, so much variety in food. The pool and outside bar area are really lovely, and the fact its right on the beach make the views and sun baking sessions spectacular. And although the rooms are a little older, they are still quite cosy and beds are super comfy. The consierge were also very helpful in booking excursions and activities. Special shout out to Valentina, she tried her best to get me on the Godfather tour, but unfortunately it was all booked out. 😔 I will definite return to Sicily as there is so much more id like to do.

Pleasant but a bit faded for a four-star hotel. We were given a sun-free room facing an adjoining hotel that appeared to be under renovation and was very noisy. I was directed to the hotel’s car park on arrival but not told that I would be charged - that added an unexpected 126 euros to the bill on departure. The staff are mostly very nice but all in all I don’t think I’d go back.

✔️ The room is clean
✔️ The location is good out side of Taormina/ around 5 km far and easy to park the car in front of the property.
NEGATIVE POINTS
✔️ What really bothered us is that it is an apartment with 3 bedrooms and the bedroom doors are directly to a kitchen/ breakfast room in the middle of the Apartment where at 8:00 in the morning Geovana serves the breakfast to the guests and makes a lot of noise, chatting loudly, talking on the cell phone and disturb all the guests who would like to sleep and rest a little later.
So if you like to sleep a little later like us, unfortunately this is not the place for you.

Perfect location, great beach. A little old, but spacious rooms with balconies. Breakfast is great! There is an outside parking at a charge, walking distance from the hotel. The restaurant hugest busy at evenings and the food is not as great as in the town nearby.
